“Books” and “Dogs” are the two best companions of unplugtravellers. To my every trail I have been almost every time have encountured with dogs and I guess you might have also. You don’t even know where they come from, all of a sudden they appear as if someone sent him to help us as a good omen. You may find them at the starting of your trek or they will meet you in between somewhere out of the blues and will accompany you till the end. There a belief that prevails in Himachal Pradesh of super natural powers in these dogs because there have been many cases where many trekkers gets lost I and these dogs help them find the way out. So, it is important to have company of such dogs. The mostly found breed of such dogs is Gaddi Dogs (Himalayan Mastiff) which are strong and agile to react to any unnatural thing or a paranormals. So, this story from Pin- Bhabha pass trek were we meet this local kinnauri dog who accompanied us to the Bhabha pass and we gave him a name “DOSTI”.
