L’opera, esposta per la prima volta accanto alla versione della Deposizione custodita nel Museo dell’Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti, per offrire a studiosi e visitatori la possibilità di un confronto critico. Sono intervenuti all’incontro: Lauro Magnani Università degli Studi di Genova Rossana Vitiello Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio per la città metropolitana di Genova e la provincia di La Spezia Annalisa Demelas e Luca Venier Conservazione Restauro, Genova Giulio Sommariva Museo Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti Le due opere accostate saranno visibili solo per un mese, nel periodo dall’8 luglio al 5 agosto. #Repost @marco.grassi.painter with @make_repost ・・・ On the right, another female figure symbolizes nature, and represents the animal element in human experience: earthy, innocent, and unaffected by cultivated refinements. This theme is accentuated by the inclusion of animal references: notably the butterfly and chameleon. Like her, they need no exterior adornment to achieve their beauty. The imagery of butterflies and other insects further affirms the theme of metamorphoses as these creatures transition so visibly from one form to the next during their life cycle. The chameleon transforms by changing color for camouflage in a new environment while the butterfly assumes several divergent shapes during its life cycle. These creatures, in contrast to the necklace and porcelain, are not the products of human craft, but they artful in and of their own being and appearance. The butterfly made as a jewelry shows the human contamination into the pure animal world. The nature-girl appears more accommodating to embrace the male figure, as she tenderly drapes her arm across his upper body. She reciprocates his courtship, which is rejected by the first woman, who, turning away to concentrate on her own balletic moves, essentially ignores him. The butterfly is also present in the veil, furled aloft by the second girl, which bridges the composition. In questo quadro al centro della scena c'è la modella Mia, protagonista in primo piano con una gestualità plastica. Alle sue spalle due uomini chiacchierando ed un terzo seduto la stanno osservando. Questo quadro è pubblicato e recensito da Angelo Crespi nel catalogo "ARTISTI '22” edizione Mondadori Store. E' stato esposto al MEAM (Museu Europeu d'Art Modern) a Barcellona, nel novembre 2022. E' stato video-esposto alla Espacio Gallery a Londra, nel dicembre 2022. An important source of inspiration for my works are the advertisements of fashion magazines, especially those of the 90s which I find very stylish. In this painting at the center of the scene is the model Mia, the protagonist in the foreground with a plastic gesture. Behind her two men chatting and a third seated are watching her. This work is published and reviewed by Angelo Crespi in the catalog "ARTISTI '22" Mondadori Store edition. This painting was exhibited at the MEAM (European Museum of Modern Art) in Barcellona in November 2022. 【とどのつまり　- Self portrait -】

Bar Le Point : 山形県南陽市赤湯498 吉田テナント2F 2021年12月にBarが生まれ、その依頼で描きました。 工事の段階で内装を見学し、その部屋にこのような絵があったら面白いかなと話しながら考えていました。 思い立ったが吉日とばかりに感性のままに描いても良いのですが、自分を納得させるためのプレゼンが必要だったりもします。 発想の原点は確かアニメだったような、絵画の眼に覗き穴の細工が施してあり、そこから部屋の様子を見られるという場面の記憶が残っていて、そこが出発点でした。部屋のコンセプトにもお店的にも合いそうだったので。いまだにそのアニメがなんだったのか気になっています。 そして、片目は鍛治の神 天目一箇神（あめのまひとつのかみ） このお店の構想を数年前から聞いており、看板などを頼まれていました。 外看板や金属小物をすべて任せるつもりでいたらしいのですが、私自身が我慢できずに辞めてしまったもので約束を果たすことができない申し訳なさと一緒に仕事ができない悔しさがありました。 左目はウジャトの目＝ホルスの左目 守護や魔除けの護符として 全てを見通す目、未来を見る目という意味があるそうです。

それと、眼のアイコンは某秘密結社っぽいですよね。 なぜだか赤毛連盟の記憶が蘇ったわけですが、どのような内容だったのか思い出せません。 　　　

「深淵を覗くとき、深淵もまたこちらを覗いているのだ」 　　

　

自画像を描きたいなと思いつつ、なかなか描けずにいました。 周りを見るのも良いけれど、時々は自分をかえりみないととんでもないことになってしまう。 「最近どうだ？絵は楽しいか？」と問われたなら、決して外に向けて声を大にして楽しいとは言えるものではない。 広義的な意味ではなく、狭義的な意味でなら楽しいと言えます。共通言語としての楽しいが何処なのか、何を指すものなのかがはっきりしていないので、文脈的に用いることは無責任になってしまう。 私はアンドレイ・タルコフスキーの作品が好きなのですが、その中の『アンドレイ・ルブリョフ』。あのような感じと申し上げますか。ほんの些細なことなのです。 　　　

ではなぜ絵を毎日続けるのか、続けていられるのかですが、理解度や解像度が日々変わることに楽しさを覚えているからです。絵具のこと、筆のこと日々些細な発見があります。それによって用い方、接し方が変わります。そうすれば自ずと結果が変わってきます。こういったことが楽しいと言えます。 絵に対する、また対照に対する解釈を深めれば見え方も変わって楽しい。 そうすることによって、筆が動く。これも楽しい。 　　

もうひとつには贖罪の念が強いためです。一つの作品を終えるごとに変わるものがあります。その度にその前の作品に対する罪悪感が生じます。どうしてもっとできなかったのか、それに赦されるにはやはり描くほかないのです。嫌な日もあります。休んで得られるものはなんだろうかを考えるとやはり描かずにはいられないのです。 　　　 そういった意味で、絵を描くことは大変に良いと言えます。 私にとって絵とは、楽しさよりも好きが重いのではないでしょうか。
