hey if anyone knows of good firefox mobile extensions/mobile apps to block websites that also includes a whitelist option pls let me know. i need to stop spending so much time on here but a lot of what i've found blocks everything with "tumblr.com" in the url and i'd like to be able to still access friends' blogs and my own whenever i want. since i access tumblr thru firefox mobile (no ads baybee) i can't just block an app wholesale or uninstall it, but i'm really struggling mentally rn and broad social media use makes it Much Worse.

Are you a Gold Star lesbian? (Just in case you don't know what it means, a Gold Star lesbian is a lesbian that has never had the sex with a guy and would never have any intentions of ever doing so)

???? first of all get outta here w that gross gold star lesbian shit. it’s a terrible concept. lots of lesbians date/have sex with men at some point bc of a) compulsory heterosexuality, b) being bisexual earlier in life and then later no longer being attracted to men, or c) their sexuality changing with transitioning. also i KNOW most ppl who use it are using it to exclude trans women so like. fuck off with THAT.

second of all, i’m NOT a lesbian. it says in my blog description that i’m gay and bisexual. bi in that i’m attracted to multiple genders (including men!) and gay in that i’m nonbinary and my gender means that all my relationships are gay bc that’s how i relate to gender, as someone who is Not A Woman but also Not A Man. i’ve had sex with bisexual and gay men. i’ve had sex with other nonbinary people. i’ve had sex with and am currently dating a woman. i might even one day date/have sex with a lesbian, provided we had made it clear that i’m Not A Woman but also Not A Man and they were cool with that. all of those things are gay for me, but i can’t be a lesbian bc i’m attracted to men.

(tbh i thought i’d thirsted enough after men for that to be clear, but i guess that’s mostly been in the tags of posts. i’m rly into bears though.)

i did at one point identify as a lesbian, but that was many years and a Very Different Gender Experience ago. i love lesbians! they’re great and deserve to be recognized more! i’m very attached to the concept of lesbianism bc it was the first non-cishet identity i had! all that being said, i’m not a lesbian, and i CERTAINLY don’t hold with ““““gold star lesbians”“““ bc that’s inherently transphobic and actively harmful towards any lesbians who have had sex with men for whatever reason. lesbians are allowed to have had whatever sexual encounters in their past without their lesbianism being up for debate, and that goes for both cis AND trans lesbians.
