I've had the Vaudeville travelling circus for 30 minutes, but if anything were to happen to it I'd kill everybody in this room and then myself
#^ steampunk oc stuff#they have a 7 foot tall strong-man automaton and a crystal hall of curiosities with enchanted glass birds that create projections of odd#animals when the light hits just right and a steam-powered pipe organ with a funky little dude (automaton) wearing a red pinstripe vest#playing it and the ring master is a man with brass prosthetic arm; a big top hat and a prosthetic eye 'glimmering like a black opal' and#just. the whole thing is mechanical enough that adults think they know better than assume that it is magic but it literally is a magic#travelling circus and i love it so much#they stop in townsquares in this circle-ish configuration around whatever statue or fountain there is (because again. we're talking 19th#century towns here) and they have puppet shows and accordions and a cimbalom#and automaton horses with pretty flower wreaths rode by acrobats in pretty sparkly suits with beaded tassles—#okay okay i'll shut up now or else i'll talk about this into the next hour just constantly adding more stuff as i think of it but i'm#really having fun with this :)#boo rambles#unrelated
