when we visited salt lake city my friend and i were reliving our misspent mall rat youth hanging out at the church-sponsored fancy mall that they built near temple square for some reason . anyway we went to the anthropologie there and i tried on this dress that i quite liked but was not sure i liked enough to spend anthropologie prices on and i said "do you think these puffed sleeves are a bit much" and my friend, apparently inspired by our historical outings earlier in the day, said "well they make you look like it's 1882 and you are married to a polygamist mormon". so i did not buy the dress. since then every three months or so i think i should have bought that dress and then i look it up on poshmark and i am reminded why i didn't buy it in the first place.
