Accepted Sophie "Blu" Olivia Wilde
IC Information: City of Origin: Toronto, Ontario Character Name: Sophie Olivia Wilde Age: 22 Birth Order: Oldest Biography:
Sophie Olivia Wilde has always been a spitfire since she was born. She was was the first of the three Wilde daughters. Of course the girl came out kicking and making everyone’s life a living hell. Well not necessarily a living hell but she was a rebellious kid. Growing up with her two siblings, it was easy. She loved having two sisters. It meant more people to be able to play with. She was always a little more on the wild side. The reason for her wild side more came out when her parents didn’t really pay much attention to her or her sister. They were always absentee and never around when she needed them most. She imagined she had found her talents early on in life. It turned out she would develop different then she thought she would later on in life.
Even despite her bad assery, she still tries to be extremely close to her younger sisters, especially Talia. She is very protective and makes sure no one, and she means no one, hurts her sisters. Talia being so different in nature draws a lot of her protectiveness. She tends not to be as close to her other sister but they’re still pretty close. She was always one of those girls who wore ripped jeans and had her hair in a messy bun. It was how she liked dressing. She was about 12 when she figured out that she was a lesbian. She always looked at females differently than she did males.
As she grew older her rebellious side only grew and grew. By the time she was 10 she already knew that she wanted to be a tattoo artist. She always loved doing artsy things, such as drawing and painting. Painting was her favorite though. Her paintings helped her keep a small distraction from the real world, as did her writing. Writing was always another thing she loved doing. Even still she for the longest time thought maybe she should go into writing instead, but she kept to her first dream. Art is her passion that was why she decided to become a tattoo artist. She was always one to use her artwork to develop herself into a new world.
Blu decided to choose The Perfect Match as her choice of dating sites because to her it really did seem to be perfect. She spotted possible prospects but still hasn’t found her total and complete match. She hopes to find her perfect person(s). Even though she doesn’t seem like the type of person that wants a relationship, it’s what she has always wanted. During high school, Blu was all about hook ups. Sex was always her favorite thing. But now that she is getting older she feels settling down is a better idea. Family Background: (If the first character in a family please suggest a family background. If not the first, still feel free to throw in some ideas that can be presented to the other family members.) {{ PLAYER INFORMATION }}
NAME: Georgia
AGE: 15
TIMEZONE: EST (Eastern Standard Zone)
PRONOUNS: She / Her
ACTIVITY LEVEL: It’s summer, so I’m fairly active each day, but there will be a a week or so in August where I won’t be on. When school does start, I’m usually on after school for a while.
PREVIOUS ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE: None (I don’t know if that affects your decision, but the links you sent me when I asked were very helpful! 😊)
PERSONAL TUMBLR CONTACT: Link Removed
TRIGGERS: None
{{ CHARACTER INFORMATION }}
CHARACTER: Bexley Corrigan (Nicknames: Bex / Little Bee by her father)
PRONOUNS: She / Her
AGE: 18
FACE CLAIM: Naomi Scott
POWER: Cryokinesis
QUOTE: "You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep on re-reading the last one.”
PERSONALITY:
Bookworm - Bexley grew up loving books and everything having to do with them. She’s always loved the magic that they possess– their power to be able to take you to a different place, ease your worries, and bring out parts of yourself you didn’t even know you had. Some of her happiest memories involve books, and they became a source of comfort in the crazy world she was thrust into.
Big Heart - Bex has always been an animal lover, starting at age six when her parents brought home their first family pet, a particularly wrinkly English bulldog named Chunk, who soon became one of her favorite family members. It doesn’t stop at animals though– Bexley would never do anything to intentionally hurt people, and hates seeing people she cares for in pain. Bex tries to do the most she can to help people in need, from donating her old clothes to volunteering in a soup kitchen. Her main goal is trying to find out a way to use her new powers to protect people and make lives better.
Creative - Bexley writes poetry and short stories in her free time, and has the potential to become an author– if only she’d finish the five books she’s started writing. She has several adult coloring books, and makes friendship bracelets to give to people. She enjoys finding creative solutions to her problems, and she prides herself on being able to look at them in a different light than most.
Indecisive - It’s a problem she’s had her whole life. What do I want for dinner? What shirt should I wear? What flavor of ice cream? She usually asks her mom, but if her mom doesn’t help out (by helping out she means make the decision for her) she moves on the other family members. If that doesn’t work, she makes a pros and cons list. Bex views this as a good thing– this means no snap decisions, which means nothing to feel guilty about. If you have time and want a logical, thought out answer, she’s your girl– just not if you need a decision made in the next few minutes.
Non confrontational - If she’s the only one involved, Bexley prefers to stay silent (and then pretend to argue with the person in front of the mirror when she gets home– and totally wreck them). However, if a family member or someone she cares about is involved, she would go to the ends of the earth to protect and stand up for them.
Withdrawn - Ever since the disappearance of her sister, Bexley has retreated deeper into her shell. She dislikes being around large numbers of people, especially ones she doesn’t know, and would much rather be at home in her room with the company of Ivy or an especially good book. While Bex does attend parties, football games and other stereotypical high school outings, she does so at the insistence of Ivy and doesn’t really enjoy herself there. Bexley values alone time and needs some set aside each day, or else she feels overwhelmed and frazzled.
BIOGRAPHY:
Bex had a very good home life. She had two loving parents who would do anything for her, a younger brother, Oliver, whom she adores, and an older sister named Larkin. (Bex was Little Bee, her sister was Little Lark). It was at school when things turned sour. She was a shy and quiet girl with few friends– she preferred books to people. She was a stellar student academics wise, but popularity wise? Not so much. This lack of friends made her turn to Larkin as a source of comfort and advice. It was hard when for Bex when Lark went to college, missing her first day as a high school freshman. Because her sister wasn’t always there for chats, she turned to her diary. She journals every night and has four years worth of notebooks filled up.
Things changed when she entered her junior year. Her beloved sister, only twenty one, left for a party one New Years Eve and never returned. She never turned up, but police never found a body either. (Bexley is quite confident her sister is still alive, somewhere. But where?) There Bex was, her only sister and closest friend gone. Her parents became distant, her mother crying herself to sleep each night and her father ceasing to be his playful self. Bexley sank into depression and stopped attempting her school work, a cause of concern for her teachers. After suggesting to her parents she try to go to a support group, she attended a meeting held by her parish youth group. There she met her first real friend since kindergarten: Ivy Kyles. They sat together the first meeting and have been inseparable ever since. For the first time, Bex found someone she can talk about anything with, one with whom she feels comfortable enough to share her deepest darkest secrets. When she and Ivy told Ivy’s parents they were dating, their response was, "I thought you already were!” Bexley views Ivy as her rock, and someone she would do anything to protect.
Ivy loves superhero movies, and was absolutely thrilled when Bex said they were going to see Wonder Woman as a date. Bex, not a movie lover herself, was happy to excuse herself to leave the chilly theatre and refill the popcorn tub, taking that time to get a water for herself. Grabbing the last one, she took it up to the cashier to find out that it was fairly expensive for a bottle of water. The cashier looked somewhat apologetic. “Sorry, it’s a newer, fancier brand. We only got in four or five– and you got the last one.” Anxious to get back to Ivy, she paid for the overpriced water, albeit begrudgingly. Oddly, the more she drank, the warmer the theatre seemed to get. When she woke up the next day, she felt strange, but shrugged it off as to much popcorn. It was over the next few weeks that she began to notice strange things happening. Ivy had begun to recoil from her touch, saying that her hands were always freezing, even though to Bex they felt perfectly normal. She would pick up a room temperature bottle of water only to find it feeling like it had just come out of the refrigerator a few seconds later. Things were changing, that much was clear; could that expensive bottle of water have anything to do with it?
HEADCANONS:
Awesome 80’s - Bexley loves eighties music and has stacks of her parents’ old CD’s in her room. Her favorite is Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart, but The Proclaimers I’m Gonna Be has a nice ring to it as well. Whenever she’s sad she listens to Cyndi Lauper, Wham! and sometimes Billy Joel. Bex has a soundtrack for every mood.
Brotherly love - Ever since Larkin’s death, Oliver has felt kind of lonely, so Bex always sets aside time to spend with her little brother. Since he’s 9 years younger, activities include playing with Legos, talking about Minecraft (which she still doesn’t completely understand) and watching cartoons. (Teen Titans Go is her personal favorite.) Oliver has dubbed this Bexley Bonding.
Singing in the shower - Bexley hates her singing voice, but there is one place she feels free to belt it out: the shower. She turns the water as hot as she can handle (but the cold has been pretty bearable lately) and sings her heart out. Her choice songs? The soundtrack from Fiddler on the Roof. She went to a production for a field trip in fifth grade with her dad as a chaperone and has been in love ever since. Wicked songs work well in a pinch, and she even tries out Phantom of the Opera sometimes (but only when she’s sure that nobody is in the house.)

Welcome Karen! We’re pleased to announce your audition for Simon Fielding / Aerokinesis has been accepted! Please send your account into the main within the next 24 hours. We can’t wait to have you join us!
{{ PLAYER INFORMATION }}
NAME: Karen
AGE: 25
TIMEZONE: PST
PRONOUNS: She / Her
ACTIVITY LEVEL: I just finished one of my classes for the summer, so my activity level is quite high since I only have one class and a part-time job. I will be more active in the nights in Pacific Time as I do look after my little sister in the afternoon. Regardless, I should be able to check in at the very least once a day!
PREVIOUS ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE: Too long! RPing in general (I started off on proboards/invisionfree) almost a decade ago, haha. I’ve been around Tumblr for the past 5/6 years, but the last year I haven’t been RPing too much. This account is a 1x1 account that I have with a friend, but this one is probably one of my past active accounts. http://arianna-carrington.tumblr.com/ It’s been a year since it’s been active, but it was one of my favorite characters.

{{ CHARACTER INFORMATION }}
CHARACTER: Simon Fielding
PRONOUNS: He/Him
AGE: 22
FACE CLAIM: Dan Stevens
POWER: Aerokinesis
QUOTE: “When you lie, people die. That’s the way it is out there… but here? People lie to get by.”
PERSONALITY:
Integrity – Growing up in a military family and being a veteran himself, he grew to know what taking full responsibility for his actions meant and he does not lie. What comes with the military is that, ‘when you lie, people die’ so even if there are shortcomings and he has failed something, he will always be forthright and honest about it.
Initiative – People who know Simon aren’t sure if it’s his initiative or impulsivity that gets him to go above and beyond. He always puts himself at risk in order to help others and he does his best to complete a task with much haste and minimal guidance or direction from his seniors. The goal in the military is to surpass expectations and training and being deployed with the Marines, he did just that.
Pessimistic – Because of his time served and growing up with the distant, strict, military family, he finds himself always looking to the downside of things. Simon tries to keep his negative thoughts to himself because he knows his negativity does nobody any good, but he is always thinking of the worst scenario that could happen in any given situation. However, some colleagues would say that was what made him a good soldier – always looking at the different outcomes.
Private – Despite spending years deployed and spending days, weeks, and months with the same platoon, not much was found out about Simon as he tends to keep to himself. He is more of a listener – he listens to other people as they tell their stories and doesn’t tell too much of his life. There are only three people in his life who know what his middle name is and they’re his family. What is his life is his life and he doesn’t see the need to share with others.
Logical – Simon’s ability to look at things from a logical instead of an emotional side is what drew him towards the Marines. The Marines were hard hitting, made snap decisions, and did more work than the other branches of the military. Emotions were not part of that capacity – he had to do what was in the best interest of his people even if may have not been the ‘ethically right’ decision. Logically, he did what made sense.
Respectful – The fact of the matter is that he grew up calling his mother and father, “Ma’am” and “Sir”, therefore those characteristics and quirks are ingrained within him. Respect was the first thing he learned growing up and he was told that he was to give it to every person he came into contact with. It didn’t matter if they were older, younger, smaller, or taller – respect was what he gave out no matter what. Some people in his platoon said that it was one of his downfalls; others said it was his greatest asset.
BIOGRAPHY:
“Military Brat” was what Simon was called quite often as their family never stayed in a place for too long. With both of his parents, George and Macy, enlisted for deployment in the Navy, both he and his sister Amy found themselves only spending a school year – sometimes less – in the same spot. So, naturally the two of them did whatever the hell they could – they skipped classed and learned to shoot out in the middle of nowhere with one of their father’s guns (that he didn’t know they had) and empty beer cans. The two of them believed that it didn’t matter what they did in their life because it would be uprooted again. They had no roots, no real friends, only a picture of what could be if they had just stayed.
However, this didn’t mean that they were bad kids, merely the fact that they were way too advanced for any public school setting as they always had to teach themselves. The two of them were bright kids, their parents teaching them to think for themselves and to anticipate different outcomes of a situation. They grew up with respect, of course, and when a teacher or any adult approached them they were immediately called ‘ma’am’ and ‘sir’ with their spines straight and their eyes locked with whomever they were talking. Military brats, obviously, knew how to take responsibilities for their shitty actions because they were totally aware.
Eventually, Simon graduated from a high school in the US when his father was stationed in Virginia. Already enlisted for boot camp, he shipped off the next month for the Marine Corps boot camp and the rest was history. Soon he had become a Scout Sniper and deployed to various places around the world – Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, and other places which are classified. Simon excelled at what he did and soon after his second tour as a Scout Sniper (which was his third tour altogether), the boy was asked to join the Force Recon team. Covert missions were given to him, mainly to serve as backup for others with his sniper ability. Despite the fact that their team had a good record of completed missions, they had lost their fair share of teammates and it was then, after finishing his fourth tour that he had decided to return to the civilian life.
Adjusting to the life of the civilian back on US soil was something that was vastly different for him. At the age of twenty-eight, he had killed and lost more people than he could remember during the ten years that he served with the Marines. It was not just that, however, what made adjusting back to civilian life so hard was the fact that people were going about their lives for themselves. Simon had spent years of his life working as a team, there were no lies between them and if there was tension that tension had to be thrown out as soon as they hit the battlefield. People had no respect for each other and looked out just for themselves. They lied just to get by in their lives, lying about what’s on their resume or simply where they had graduated from.
It was the reason why he had went back into serving something – he had become recruiter for the Marines. It was through there that he could talk about what he did, what kind of life he led, and how being in the military (with whatever branch) could really help out. Mostly he was assigned work with schools from poverty-stricken areas or those with discipline issues. Still, he finds solace with helping kids and young adults find their way to the military for some kind of purpose. Simon was the best at their branch, he was able to connect with kids that other people couldn’t seem to do.
That was, at least, until a few weeks ago when Simon had suddenly been taking random days off or asking other people to cover for him. Something strange happened to him, he was suddenly waking up floating in the air or finding himself moving, almost sliding, with the breeze from the trees. After his two weeks of freaking out and having a friend run tests on him, he had finally decided that he was going to keep things quiet on his end. Two weeks after his first random levitation in bed, he went back into his work. Although, people are starting to gossip about the gust of wind that appears from nowhere when Simon is upset. This is what drove him to start learning how his powers work – which he does, late at night on the roof of his apartment complex where no one could see.
HEADCANONS:
Simon sees a therapist twice a week to talk about his PTSD – whereas he has not had any violent outbursts as he sometimes sees from other veterans, he does have nightmares where he wakes up forgetting where he is. He would have never thought about doing this, but it was recommended to him from another Force Recon veteran.
Simon is ambidextrous because his parents believed that a child should be able to write with both their right and left hands. Therefore, he (and his sister) are able to do all tasks equally with both hands. However, Simon does favor his right hand for more meaningful (to him) things such as shooting and signing his name.
Simon still remains very close to his sister Amy and they constantly wrote each other when he was deployed. She is a reservist for the Navy but has never been deployed and finished her degree in biochemical engineering. Amy is Simon’s best friend and he will talk about her when given the chance.
He still keeps up with some of the kids that he had talked to about going in the military, even if they didn’t. Simon simply wants to make sure that they end up doing something with their lives so they’re just not joining a gang or becoming a deadbeat on the streets.
Upon meeting him, some people think he is standoffish and doesn’t desire to get to know anyone. However, he just does not know how to fully converse with a civilian that has nothing to do with his job or the people around him. He tries to remedy this by telling jokes, which aren’t him and he totally hates because it makes him seem even more awkward.

{{ CHARACTER INFORMATION }}
CHARACTER: Nova Sinclair
PRONOUNS: She / Her
AGE: 31
FACE CLAIM: Natalie Dormer
POWER: Pyrokinesis
QUOTE: “The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.”
PERSONALITY:
Witty - Nova’s got a quick sense of humor and a snappy retort for pretty much any situation. She is a clever woman with a sharp mind and tends to use jokes as both defense and offense. It’s a talent that gets her far with her writing and it’s good in sales, as it tends to make people relax around her.
Affable - Nova is the agreeable sort with a talent for making people feel comfortable around her; it’s that old school southern charm. However, though it takes a hell of a lot to rile her up, she is not what anyone would call a pushover. Mostly she’s agreeable because she just doesn’t have the patience for conflict and avoids it if she can help it. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, after all (though she’s never really understood why anyone would want to catch flies).
Curious - Some call it nosy, Nova prefers curious. She likes to know things, likes to be involved. She likes to know about people and she likes to learn about a variety of topics. Of course, sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong has gotten her into trouble a time or two, no matter how hard she tries to avoid it. Some people don’t appreciate others poking into their business. Especially a writer who will (and has) used stories she hears in fiction.
Imaginative - Nova creates situations in her head and sometimes can conflate them into something worse than they are because she tends to imagine the worst possible outcome. It serves her well in her writing. Not so much in real life, however.
Ambitious - Nova has worked her way up from the bottom to the top, a true rags to riches story that she tends to keep to herself. She has always had big dreams and is good at getting what she wants. She isn’t above doing whatever has to be done to meet her goals.
Reserved - A lot of people let Nova’s friendly, cheerful front deceive them into thinking she’s easy to get to know. She isn’t. She’s secretive and not at all forthcoming about herself or her life. She doesn’t let people in easy and trust has to be fought for. She likes to keep herself to herself and it’s hard to get past the high walls of privacy she’s built to the person beyond it. Though Nova has plenty of acquaintances, there aren’t many she’d call friend and she prefers it that way.
Judgmental - Nova’s far from easy to impress and if you make one wrong move, she’ll judge you for it instantly. She’s got a strong sense of what she’ll tolerate and what she won’t and she tends to be quick to write people off when they cross it. Second chances aren’t her forte. Friendly, sure. Forgiving? Not so much.
BIOGRAPHY:
Nova was born in New Orleans and lived there with her single father until the age of ten, when he was killed in an accident on the construction site he was working on. Nova was left with very little and she didn’t much like foster care either. At around thirteen, she ditched her foster home and became a bit of a street urchin. Easy to get lost in a city the size of New Orleans, and that’s exactly what she did for a very long time. She mostly conned people out of their cash with a sweet smile and her big, bright eyes, asking for bus fare from strangers or a couple of bucks for lunch because “my daddy gave me some cash this morning, ma’am, but it must’ve fallen out of my pocket on the way to school.”
Ever since she was small, however, Nova had a quick and creative mind and she used it to her advantage. It meant that even on the streets, she had big dreams and a strong will, one that would get her on her way to the top. When she was sixteen, she lit out of New Orleans. She worked on a river boat for a time, sailed her way up to Memphis, then took a bus over to New York City. In Nova’s mind, that was the place to be when you had big ambitions and wanted any chance of making them come true.
With nothing but a backpack full of clothes, a battered notebook of scribbled stories, and forty-seven dollars in her pocket, Nova set up at a local shelter and breathed in the air of the big city. She liked it immediately, the brisk pace, the clipped northeastern accents, the way everyone minded their own business. It was exactly what she’d been looking for and Nova was gonna make it work for her.
It was in this shelter that she met Dotty Fisher, a middle-aged shelter worker who took a particular shine to Nova in her early days in New York. Nova liked her too, this woman with a kind smile who made her think of how a mother should be. Bit by bit, she began to trust Dotty, even let her read some of her stories. When Dotty came to her about the idea of getting her GED and trying to go to college, Nova enthusiastically set about doing it all and ended up graduating with honors a handful of years later. She got a job and a crappy little studio apartment and got to work soon after. She had much bigger fish to fry.
Nova’s first novel was published when she was twenty-five, a thrilling mystery that became a best selling novel. Following that success, Nova purchased a small bookstore, which she now runs while writing on the side. Since the first novel, she’s written two more, both hugely popular, though her preference for anonymity meant that she’d written all of them under a pen name.
Nova was quietly celebrating a movie deal in the works for her first novel when she drank the tonic water that would chance her life as she knew it. It was definitely a bit of a shock for someone whose life is spent surrounded by paper to discover she could manipulate fire – all she’d been thinking was how she wanted the fire in the fireplace to burn a little hotter, a little brighter, and suddenly the flames shot so high that they blackened the stone mantle – and she has been quietly and curiously testing her powers out since.
Alone, of course. With someone like Nova whose ear was always to the ground, it was impossible to miss the murmurs of disappearances plaguing the city…
HEADCANONS:
Sometimes when Nova is stuck on a particularly hard section of her writing, she’ll sketch out a scene to try and form a picture in her head. She has no real talent for drawing, however, so her desk is often littered with nonsensical stick figure drawings, most of which are only half finished.
Nova is a notorious pen chewer. It’s a habit she hates, but can’t seem to break. At least twice a pen has exploded in her mouth and her face has been stained with ink for days, but no matter what she tries, she can never get herself to stop.
Nova bought her own store instead of keeping her job at someone else’s because it means she can mostly set her own hours and doesn’t get in trouble if she’s a few minutes late getting back from lunch or if she shuts the doors a few minutes early. For this reason, there are no store hours posted on the store front and those who want to shop there kind of just have to get lucky about when they decide to go. Surprisingly, her most frequent shoppers tend to find this charming. She has one regular who acts unfailingly surprised any time he shows up and she’s actually open.
She’s a deep sleeper, the kind of person who likes sleeping in a freezing cold room with tons of blankets piled on top of her. She tends to keep late hours and wake up late, so the book store is never actually open before noon on any given day.
Nova is queer as a two dollar bill. It’s not something she flaunts, but it’s not something she hides either. She’s just always been more interested in and more comfortable with women.

{{ CHARACTER INFORMATION }}
CHARACTER: Dante Oren Miller (Nicknames: Ren)
PRONOUNS: He/Him
AGE: 22
FACE CLAIM: Bill Skarsgard
POWER: Superior Strength
QUOTE: “All cruelty springs from weakness.”
PERSONALITY:
(+) Calm – Collected and demure, the end result of a harsh upbringing, abuse and social isolation, from nature as well, it’s very hard to make Ren snap or to pull on his strings. He always responds coldly to situations, not the type to be shaken by anything or upset, he won’t panic most times and is often considered ‘cold’ by some.
(+) Sensitive – Even if he’s calm and collected at all times, he’s a sensitive soul. Harsh words make him cry (in private), loud noises make him jump and he’s always deeply aware of his surroundings and everything. Small acts and gestures that most people consider nothing can either cheer him up or break his heart.
(+) Intelligent – Booksmart and social smart, Ren was supposed to be the brains not the brawn (and he won’t have anyone tell him otherwise), he’s a studious, quiet kid who doesn’t like the moniker of genius but he does have a MENSA membership.
(-) Sullen – Long, gloomy silences are Ren’s specialty. When left alone to his own devices, though his powers aren’t weather control, he’s practically able to summon his own dark cloud, looming over his head. Most times, as soft and calm as he is, people tend to avoid Ren because of his usually closed-off semblance that is most unfriendly.
(-) Insecure – By the dark semblance always on his face and pulled up shoulders, no one would ever think Ren is remotely insecure, especially being who he is. But inside his mind is a shitstorm where he’s always second-guessing himself, hesitating and while looking cool, he’s going insane. It’s easy to tear away into his self-esteem by saying the right (or wrong) words.
(-) Passive - Due to his quiet, reserved nature, Ren is most of a loner so people don’t realize how easy it is to push him around or making him a doormat. He’s incapable of fighting for himself or his wishes, he tries but he lacks the self-confidence and courage that takes to stand up to someone. He’d rather avoid confrontation at all times and please others.
BIOGRAPHY:
Golden boy from a golden family – Dante Oren was the cherry on top of the Miller’s perfect picture. Father, mother, older son, older daughter and the newborn baby, eight years younger than their twins. Father a rich politician, mother a famous attorney, all beautiful, healthy kids, a stable family, house in a nice neighbourhood on Georgia, picket fence and all. Dante was their most beloved, spoiled baby boy, a bright child that started talking before he knew how to walk. Smart, genius even they called him. His father was fifty years old, Dante was a mere five, when he was elected President of the United States of America. Needless to say that growing eight years on the public spotlight didn’t do any wonders for a boy whose nature was already shy. Worse so, for a boy whose public life was perfect but behind closed doors it very much resembled something like hell.
His father was an alcoholic with temper issues, his mother a depressed diplomat that kept her perfect façade using pills (her mind lost ways ahead), his brother ever so slowly crumbling under the crippling pressure of being the firstborn and his sister inhering their father’s own anger issues. In the midst of all that, Dante’s spirit slowly started to wither whatever much had bloomed. He dedicated his days to his studies, locked away in the isolation of his room – it was a good thing, he could live up to his parents’ and the country’s expectations. Dante even skipped a few years ahead though not many since his parents didn’t want him to miss the full ‘child experience’, or so they said. Truth be told, they didn’t wanted to be bothered with it – absent parents were better than overbearing, violent ones, as he learned it soon enough.
He was almost fourteen when his father’s second term came to an end and most of the attention died away, it now meant they had to go back to Georgia and get re-used to their former lives, if that was ever possible. Though his siblings were much happier, Dante wasn’t so sure about it, he had grown up in DC, after all. Though in the expensive school he had been enrolled during the past eight years, going back to Atlanta was odd and he had no friends, no one. Going to a new school gave Dante although a small hope, he was thirteen and on his second year of High School, he’d start new, make friends, be happy. He wouldn’t have to be by his father’s side so often either, it all looked up to a brighter future.
His hopes died as soon as the first bully bumped on him in the hallway and sent him toppling against the lockers. He knew exactly what that meant – for the next years of High School, Dante kept to himself. It wasn’t blatant. Never enough to warrant anything. Bumps and bruises, roughhousing and of course, it wouldn’t do a former president’s son whining at the smallest sign of distress or problem. It just wouldn’t. His father was a severe, demanding man who wouldn’t take it – and you didn’t fight for yourself? He’d demand and Dante never gathered the courage to tell anyone. No. He was “popular”, of course, rich and ‘famous’ to a certain extent, but he had no friends. Only those influential, equally rich and smart kids who had realized they could push him around at their will.
He was sixteen when he managed to get out of High School (well, fifteen, almost sixteen) and landed admittances to some of the best Universities in the country, along with a couple ones abroad, in the end to get as far away as possible from his family, to try and finally get a new life, Ren chose Columbia, in the heart of New York city. A big city, with too many people, he’d be just an invisible john in the crowd, no one would care to look at him, no one would bother with him, invisible, this time he could start over on his own terms. While his true wish was to join Juilliard, and follow a career in ballet or Columbia Visual Arts, he knew he couldn’t even dream of it without causing a rift in the family, so Dante accepted going into a double major of PoliSci and Law.
Five years later and ready to reach for a Masters Degree in the very same Law school, Dante finally decided he was going to move in definitely to New York City. It was the summer of his twenty-first year and he had convinced his sister to come stay with him after she had (another) fallout with their parents. It was a simple, one July hot night, Beatrice bought him some fancy new water thing before they were drove down to some famous restaurant when the truck hit Dante’s car full on, sending it right against a electrical post. From there on, Dante could only remember waking up in the hospital – a two week coma later. His sister did not make it. He also couldn’t hear anything, the fact he had survived had been pretty surprising.
At first Dante thought he was imagining the newfound strength – breaking small objects, crushing his cellphone’s screen three times on the same week. He only realized what was happening when a car almost ran him over and his hand ended printed in the car’s hood with a very defined outline. Confused and terrified of his new powers, whatever they may be, Dante started training his body by himself – working out a little harder, reading and watching things on fighting techniques. No idea where it came from but at least he wouldn’t let it hurt anyone, nor let himself show in no one else’s radar.
HEADCANONS:
(Dance Dance) – Dante took many kinds of lessons as a kid, from painting to piano to French to gymnastics and so on. He’s always loved especially gymnastics and dancing, specifically ballet and he did show talent for it from an early age. He was also very passionate towards visual arts in general, practicing over and over drawings and doodles at the corners of his notebooks. Of course, Arts wasn’t a proper or acceptable career for the son of an influential politician in the Twenty-first century so his parents quickly demoted him from anything serious regarding the arts. Still, living in New York he kept taking ballet lessons in a small studio in his off days from School, just for the sake of doing something small for himself.
(Misunderstood) – Though his name ‘Oren’ is from the Jewish side of the family, the nickname ‘Ren’ is indeed meaningful, given to him by the son of the Japanese ambassador in the US when they were both children. In Japanese Ren means Lotus, more specifically the Lotus flower that comes with a series of meanings, such as Patience, Love, Compassion and Loyalty. He never really got attached to those, not believing himself worthy of any name like that but as years went by, Dante decided to live by the name of Ren, or rather, try to live up to it. Being the best he could be, he even tattooed a small lotus flower on his left shoulder as a reminder.
(What’s in a name?) - Dante was named after the main character and homonymous author of The Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri and his siblings were named Virgil and Beatrice, the two other main characters of the book. They were named mostly because their mother loved the names, with no ulterior reasons but Dante does think there might be some irony.
(I Can’t Hear The Music) – The trauma of the car impact, (not to mention his sister’s death that he still refuses to talk about), has caused severe hearing loss of 98% on one ear and 95% on another, mostly rendering Dante completely deaf. In the past year he has been learning how to speak ASL but being raised as a typical southern boy, he’s afraid of showing any signs of weakness or needing others, therefore he always wears hearing aids and tries not to let people know of his disability. Due to the damage being caused by trauma, it’s hard for him to keep the aids on at all times and he hasn’t gotten used to it yet.
(The Best of You) – Dante has been taking weekly fighting lessons for the past three months, though he has to be very careful and most times avoids touching the coach. He’s signed up to an old boxing gym in Harlem and takes boxing lessons every Friday night with an old fighter. The man never asks many questions and pretends not to see every time Ren tears through a punching bag or destroys a wall. He’s not very good at it so far and still too scared, lacking confidence, but at least he did learn how to throw a punch. It’s also been helping him control his powers or the extent they can get.

Accepted Lily Ariella Fabray
Welcome to the group Sophia! Hopeful about seeing how Lily turns out hun!
OOC Information:
Name/Alias: Sophia
Age: 19
Timezone: GMT-7
IC Information:
City of Origin: Honolulu, Hawaii
Character Name: Lily Ariella Fabray
Age: 23
Face Claim: Dianna
Birth Order: Middle
Biography:
Although Lily Ariella Fabray is not the youngest out of her siblings, she definitely seems that way due to her personality. Because of this she is often referred to as ‘Little Bird’ by her family due to her naivety (being that she is overly optimistic, hopeful, and honestly sees the good in everyone and every situation), and her added desire to fly free so to speak and make her own decisions.
Growing up she was incredibly curious and always wanted to learn more. Her parents enrolled her in dance lessons at the age of five, and from then on it was her passion. She didn’t do well in swimming lessons, however. The water terrified her. Whenever the family went on trips that involved water, she would be in the dead center of the boat unable to see the edges or over them.
This posed a problem of course, when the family moved to Hawaii, as when she went to parties down at the beach, she wasn’t able to swim with everyone. Although many tried – a boy who she had a fling with picked her up and forced her in and Lily went into a state of shock, nearly drowning due to the anxiety attack that followed. Lily hasn’t gone into the water since, and friends know not to pressure her into trying.
She ended up moving and going to UCLA for school in their dance program, and once she had finished she began teaching dance lessons in Chicago, becoming a highly paid instructor due to her talent. Lily absolutely loved Chicago as soon as she moved. It was mostly to get away from her parents and get closer to her siblings (as her parents weren’t too keen on her ‘do whatever I’d like’ personality), although she often goes on vacation missing warm climates.
She isn’t a slut, but she’s definitely promiscuous. Even though she’s light-hearted and seems innocent, she loves going out and meeting people, and trying new things. She loves finding new coffee shops she hasn’t been in before and playing out scenarios when people come over to flirt with her. She does still attend church at times, however her religion isn’t as big of a part of her life as many would assume.
She currently considers herself pansexual. This is mainly because she’s been with men, but hasn’t been with women, so she isn’t sure she can label herself as gay or straight just yet. That considered, she’s always been curious to see what it’s like to be with a woman, or in this case, more than one woman. This partially stemmed out of a relationship with a prior boyfriend that went wrong.
She thought she had feelings for him, however was skeptical about how as to whether they were deep enough. He seemed to catch onto this and was not willing to wait around for her to decide. An older friend of hers who was aware of her sexual openness, happened to be in a polyamorous lesbian relationship and actually referred her to The Perfect Match in hopes that it might help enlighten her somewhat as to her sexual identity. She’s applied to The Perfect Match in hopes of trying it out, considering she’s never been one to have feelings for just one person.
She’s close to her sisters – and loves getting to be around them.
Personality wise, Lily thinks of herself as being like a friendly little bird. She is playful and daring, and loves with all of her heart. She cares too much to hurt anyone, and is always trying to make people feel better when they are in fact hurt. She is way too obsessed with television shows and gets too emotionally attached to characters. All around she tries to remain happy and not let things bring her down, although having that childish persona leads to her actually getting hurt quite easily. She focuses on others more than herself, and she loves meeting new people.
It is the fact she sees the best in others and things that can be one of her weaknesses. It can leave her a little short sighted about what can go wrong, giving her the impression of at times being in her own little bubble of naivety. The fact she generally tries to do well by people tends to at times help dissuade others from intentionally popping it.

Family Background: I’m down with pretty much whatever. Lily was respectful but not too close with her parents due to their busy lives. I can see her losing her connection with her parents and not caring what they think.

Blurb: Howdy Hi Hello! I’m Lily Ariella Fabray, although you can just call me Lily. Or Ari. Or Ella. Whatever you’d like :) I am the middle child out of triplets, however I do also have an older sister who doesn’t really look identical to me. I live in Chicago and currently work as a dance instructor, but would really love to pursue a career in dancing. Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple. So I mainly focus on that when I’m not working. I’m often described as ‘an actual five year old’ because I’m basically a child. I get far too excited about things and am almost positive that Peter Pan and I are supposed to get married. I can be mature when necessary though, and although I seem naïve I’m not stupid. I don’t bite :)
Interests/Hobbies/Dislikes: Interests: Dancing, Sophia Bush, Cuddling, Meeting New People, Being Happy Hobbies: Dance! Exploring, photography, reading, watching (far too much) television. Dislikes: Water (deep!), seafood, wine.

Accepted Ariel Kayla Puckerman
Welcome to Perfect Match, Riley! Sorry this took so long. I was too exhausted on Tuesday to get to it and I apologize for being distracted hun, but here we go!
OOC Information Name/Alias: Riley Age: 26 Timezone: GMT - 3 Activity Level: 7/10, depends of my muse lol
IC Information: City of Origin: Chicago Character Name: Ariel Kayla Puckerman Age: 24 Face Claim: Mila Kunis Birth Order: older
Biography:
If there exist one word to describe Ariel Kayla Puckerman it would be protector. Being the eldest made her turn out to be the one to bear the responsibility of being an example to her twin, to fill the role that their absent father never did. She tries her best to keep the family together, and it’s always ready to help with whatever the problem is, but is very serious at the times she needs to be.
The girl is very good with numbers and calculations, and she even jokes that it’s her gift as a Jew, but her true passion is the art. It’s not difficult to find her head stuck in a book about said subject, or in a notebook creating new designs of drawings or with her headphones on while doing it. Her favorite type of artwork is graffiti, so you will easily find stencils and cans stashed in the middle of her backpack. Her love for art is one of the biggest problems with her mother.
Although she was not the brightest academically and in college, Ariel did everything she could to keep her mother away from any commentary about her punk look during that period by studying and keeping good grades. She pushed Ariel to drop her rebellious look, and graduate with a degree in economics, account or something in the number area, so someone in the family could have a successful career.
The girl eventually followed her mother’s wishes, and got a job in an accounting office, and for a while, she managed to keep herself away from the paints and stencils. It didn't took too long though, Ariel quickly came back to doing her graffiti any time off work she had, and signing her murals with AK-Puck, so people don’t judge her for what she does.
Ariel is the type who observes and plans before acting, but still proves to be quite humorous, friendly, easygoing, and can be very sarcastic when surrounded by people with whom she’s used to being around. She likes classic rock but has a slight tendency for power and thrash metal. Also despite not being that much into comics, Wolverine is her favorite and she never miss a issue of his comic book.
Family Background: Her father was a deadbeat and went away from his family when Ariel was about 7 years old, her mother is a nurse and raised her children all by herself. She has a difficult relationship with her mom, and greatly despises her father.
Ships: Ariel/chemistry, Ariel/art, Ariel/happiness
Anti-Ships: Ariel/forced
Perfect Match Profile: (IC)
Blurb: Ariel Puckerman, 24, assistant accounting. I don’t know much to say, except I’m born and raised at Chicago, I am not too tall and don’t have much preference about women, as long as they don’t try to change me, since I already have my mom for that.
Interests/Hobbies/Dislikes: Interests – Art, music, video games, comic books, math, food, paints, and tacos. Hobbies - Painting, reading, watching tv, playing videogames. Dislikes – Rude people, traffic, my boss, beans, coffee with milk, bad music.

Accepted Gabriella Elizabeth Fabray
Welcome to the group, Hannah! Hawaii was an interesting choice for original home town in a setting like this and she looks fun!
OOC Information: Name/Alias: Hannah Age: 18 Timezone: CST Activity Level: 8/10. I can be on once a day, but with school and other rps I can’t be on as much as I could.
Age: 23
Face Claim: Dianna Agron! <3 Birth Order: Youngest
Biography:
Gabriella Elizabeth Fabray is the youngest of the Fabray triplets. She grew up in Hawaii with her twin sisters, their older sister, and parents. When she was born she was different from her sisters, she didn’t cry like most babies did. She was silent. It made the doctor worried thinking something was wrong with her, so they took her away for tests, but to their happiness nothing was wrong with the baby. She was a healthy little girl. Once they left the hospital the girl still didn’t cry, and even though her parents were told that she is healthy they still didn’t worry about their little girl. So they took her to another doctor, but this one was a child psychologist. After a few months of Gabriella being tested once a week the psychologist told her parents that she was perfectly healthy, the reason she didn’t cry was because she was very observant, and that she wanted to see Gabriella even as she was growing up to maybe learn more about the girl.
And the psychologist was right, Gabriella was a healthy baby, she just was so curious with the things around her. Her parents kept their word, and every month they would take Gabriella to the psychologist for an hour, and they did that for a few years. When she was eight the psychologist told her parents that Gabriella had Hyperthymesia, which is where if she was given a date she could remember everything that happened, and it comes back in vivid visions. It was rare, but not impossible to have. And the reason that she didn’t cry much as a baby was because she was able to pick up things easily, and not be so confused or scared.
To Gabriella she just felt like a normal girl growing up. Her parents tried to explain her condition to her when she was younger, so that she wasn’t freaked out when it happened. But she was too young at that way to understand it really, but when she had the visions she wasn’t really freaked out like her parents thought she would be. They happened a lot when she was young, but as she got older they were less frequent and more controlled. She never told anyone about them since she didn’t think it was necessary for people to know since it didn’t affect them at all. And if she was around people when the visions happened she would just say she wasn’t paying attention or spacing out.
Most people think that this would cause her grades to go down since she wasn’t always paying attention in class. But in fact she did very well at school because of it. She was able to remember more things since she was always thinking and observing the world around her. And whenever it came to her getting a test she was able to answer all the questions with ease. The school would talk to her parents about her skipping grades, but they thought it would be best for their daughter if she stayed in a grade with kids her own age.
When Gabriella wasn’t in school she was outside hanging out with her friends. They went surfing, swimming, and sailing. Gabriella just loved the water, her friends would always joke around and say she was part fish because of how much she enjoyed being in and around water. Whenever Gabriella heard them say that she would just laugh lightly at them. She loved her friends, and knew that they were just teasing her like friends do.
At home her life was nice. Her parents were in love with each other, and were always there for their daughters. Her mom was a stay at home mom and her dad was a doctor, who gave his daughters everything they could ever want and need. Gabriella didn’t see her oldest sister much since she was ten years older than Gabriella and her sisters, and had her own family when Gabriella got older. But when it came to her sisters she always wanted to be super close to them. She always tried to get along with them, and help them out with their schoolwork and the issues they had. And she could easily say that her sisters were her best friends, and she wouldn’t want it any other way.
Gabriella went through school with no issues she had the same boyfriend all throughout high school, he was the guy she lost her virginity to, but when it came to college deciding. He wanted to stay in Hawaii, while the blonde wanted to go to Northwestern, a very good college in Chicago. They break up right after New Years since Gabriella chose to go to Northwestern, and they both knew that they couldn’t handle a long distance relationship, especially with how far Hawaii and Illinois were.
Right when Gabriella got to Chicago she was shocked. The city was so big, and had so many different people. It was nothing like the girl has ever seen before in her life. Gabriella majored in Journalism and Legal Studies at Northwestern. She had the true college experience, not only did she study hard, but she also went to a lot of parties in college. She might’ve gone a little wild in high school, but she made sure that she didn’t do anything dangerous.
Even though she partied a lot, she still graduated from Northwestern with high honors, and she got int the University of Chicago’s law school. In college Gabriella realized that she wasn’t just into guys, but into girls too. She never realized that when she was in Hawaii since she never really saw it, so she didn’t really know much of it, but going to a very liberal city like Chicago helped her realize that her feelings towards girls was completely normal.
If you knew Gabriella back when she was in high school you wouldn’t think a sweet girl like herself could be a big flirt like she was. You would see a sweet, reserve girl, sure she was those things, but she loved to flirt. The way people blushed or acted while they did it made Gabriella smile. All her friends knew that Gabriella would probably be the one to land the perfect spouse since she would be able to charm them with her charisma, and keep them with her personality. But Gabriella didn’t think that in college she would be ready for a long term relationship. She didn’t see the point in them yet.
The fall after college Gabriella started Law School. She never thought it would be as time consuming as it was. She started to calm down, and stop partying as much as she use to. Her friends would ask her if she wanted to go to the bar on weekends, but the girl was too consume by her books and studies to do it. She never knew how much she would like Law School, sure she has always been interested in the law, but she was truly in love with it. Everything just came easy to her, but the law made her think. It was something that there were no right answers, but different ways of solving a problem.
At school Gabriella made a lot of new friends, some of which were either married or engaged. She didn’t think people would be with the same person forever when they were her age. She didn’t see the rush of being in a long term relationship at twenty-two. At one of her friend’s birthday parties she met a cute girl. After a few dates the girl asked Gabriella to be her girlfriend, to which Gabriella declined. She told the girl she wasn’t ready for a relationship. After that the girl didn’t answer her phone calls for a few weeks. Then she ran into the girl she was at a club with her current girlfriend. It was then that Gabriella realized she should finally find someone to have a solid relationship with. She realized that if she didn’t start to commit to people then she would let all the good people get away, and all she would be the thirty year old still going to the bar every weekend picking up a new person to sleep with, and then on the weekdays being at home alone. And she didn’t want to have a life like that.
The problem was that Gabriella didn’t know where to start when it came to finding someone to be with. She tried allowing her friends to set her up on blind dates, but they weren’t Gabriella’s thing. She thought that maybe an online website could help since it seems that’s how a lot of people were finding their match. But she didn’t know about any good ones until she found, Her Perfect Match, maybe that’s where Gabriella could find her perfect match, and if it didn’t work when she wouldn’t lose anything.

Accepted Teagan Marina Bradshaw
Welcome to the group, Lu! Excited to see how your lovely Ms. Bradshaw will turn out.
Teagan Marina Bradshaw is one of those girls whose always found with a head buried in a textbook and endlessly jotting down notes on her surrounds. A fairly rambunctious, she’s certainly on the eccentric side, always abuzz with thoughts ranging from gaming to books to her main passion –– science.
Born into a very close knit family, her father worked as a manager of a restaurant whilst her mother stayed home, being the type to make jewelry and crafts and sell them on Etsy and the like. This brought a very relaxed feel to the family home, always an open environment for Teagan to share anything with her parents. An only child until the age of fourteen, when her parents conceived another child (admittedly quite by accident) by the name of Lillian, whom of which Teagan grew very fond of, realizing then her love for children and indeed her knack with them.
At the age of eleven, when she started middle school, she began her first basic science class and fell in love. As she grew older and matured into high school her love for molecules, cells and atoms only grew. Amidst her deemed ‘nerdy’ passion, Teagan had a modest group of friends, of which were known to be a fairly friendly group of people, and in turn she was friendly to them. Always up for a good time when appropriate, work always came first to Teags, often leading to missing out on a social occasion or two but in the end the brunette knew it was all worth it.
It was during high school that the brunette became aware of varying sexualities, genders and the like, and it was through that that she realized maybe she wasn’t simply heterosexual. It was in her sophomore year that her best friend came out as a lesbian and as their relationship grew closer and closer, the line between being friends and perhaps lovers became more and more blurred.
By the beginning of their Junior year the two began dating and Teagan came out as pansexual to her parents (both of which were practically proud of their daughter for identifying as such, even joining PFLAG and as many groups as they could). However halfway through her Senior year the two girls decided it was best, both for their studies and for a lack of better word, sheer indifference that they break up – remaining of course as best friends (or at least attempted to, that it seems very rarely works out).
The end of high school brought time for decisions on future and to Teagan the answer was as obvious as anything – medical school. She enrolled in schools all across the state and country and was accepted into the Pritzker School of Medicine, of which she couldn’t be happier about (besides staying in her home state beat traveling across the country). Her love-life however took a small toll as her focus on studies grew, and whilst she had enjoyed a few short relationships in high school she was yet to experience one where she shared a true connection – and as her college life and the studies it involved began to take over her social life, the chances of her going out and meeting people decreased. It was that spurred her to sign up for Perfect Match.
At first she was hesitant, the thought of putting yourself ‘out there’ in such a way was a somewhat scary thing to do, but as time progressed her nerves faded and she began to enjoy being able to message people and such without necessarily having to leave her room and as such, her studies.
For now however, as time waits and her heart collects dust, Teagan simply has a small apartment of her own and her beloved pet hedgehog, Atticus. And perhaps, at least for the time being, that will simply be enough ––– love is always around the corner, right?
Family Background: The Bradshaw family held a fairly relaxed outlook, always an open environment for their two children. Her father worked as a manager of a restaurant whilst her mother stayed home, being the type to make jewelry and crafts and sell them on Etsy and the like. The youngest (Lillian) is a full fourteen years younger than Teagan, is currently only in elementary school, leaving the babysitting duties to the twenty-one year old more often than not. Ships: teagan/chemistry Anti-Ships: teagan/forced, teagan/no chemistry Perfect Match Profile: (IC) Blurb: Hola, the name’s Teagan a pansexual Chicago born brunette, about 5’2” and often referred to as “Tiny Teagan” or “Tiny T”. Hopeful finder of Interests/Hobbies/Dislikes: likes: reading, science, tea, winter, television shows. dislikes: celery, arrogance, horror films, valentines day.
