The new POCO M3 Pro 5G NFC launches today!

Xiaomi's budget brand POCO launches the Pro version of the POCO M3 smartphone today. Two versions are available: 4GBRAM+64GB storage or 6GBRAM+128GB storage.

So, what's new or different? Of course the M3 Pro 5G NFC has a sligtly bigger screen with 6.5" and 2400x1080px than the normal M3. Unfortunately it does not feature an AMOLED display but considering the price, that fact is totally fine. On the other hand it comes with a 90Hz DynamicSwitch display which is better than most of the budget phones.

POCO did not change the available colors (Power Black, POCO yellow and Cool Blue) but the black camera strip is now longer and more narrow than before which looks pretty cool on the yellow and blue colors.

The CPU is the new MediaTek Dimensity 700 which actually can compete with snapdragon CPUs like the 720G. It's a octa-cure processor with up to 2.2GHz and an ARM Mali G57 MC2 GPU.

MIUI 12 for POCO based on Android 11 is the operating system on the smartphone.

The main camera of the triple rear camera has 48MP, the macro camera and the depth sensor 2MP each. The front camera comes with 8MP.

The dimensions of the POCO M3 Pro 5G NFC are 161.81mm x 75.34mm x 8.92mm and the weight is 190g. The battery supports 18W fast charge and has a capacity of 5.000mAh.

All of these informations sound familiar? Maybe because the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G does have basically the same features and hardware - but costs over 30% more than the POCO M3 Pro 5G NFC.
