I tried and failed, To hold onto your ghost, Because you slip right through, My fingers as you drifted away. I've been chasing your ghost, As the misty shape of you, Slow floats away. All I have is your memory, Lingering on my mind, As your phantom haunts, My heart and I lose count, Of how many times, I held you in my arms, Before realizing you were slipping. Nothing seems to be the same, As your spectre, Fades from my bed.
