So this is my take but 100% he parrots and hopes for the best. He has no clue what any of it means. But of course, the grunts aren't going to question if he says something that sounds dumb asf, so any slip ups are 'definitely on purpose' because there's 'no way Boss is that dumb, he's just messin' with us.'

And OBVIOUSLY he can mew but 'no, you can't see. Plus it's stupid anyway, you guys are idiots.' 😒 (he cannot, he has tried very hard)
