reflections are weird man. like i can be looking at the water and see the tree above me. and there’s no way i’d have even known the tree was there if i didn’t look up to see it normally, but there it is, and the birds are sitting happily in its branches. and im not looking at the birds, but i can see them. and through them i can see the fish in the pond. as if i’m only seeing the ghosts of the birds and the trees.
