Dominant India Women's Team Commands Test Match Against Australia

In the one-off Test match versus Australia, India's women's team showcased a strong batting performance, posting 406 runs in the first innings at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. Led by half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Deepti Sharma, India gained a 187-run lead on Saturday, December 23.

Deepti Sharma top-scored with 78 runs, while Mandhana contributed 74 off 106 balls. Almost every Indian batter made valuable contributions, with Pooja Vastrakar adding a crucial 47 runs in the lower order.
