Mom and me were on the look out for some amazing rice for special occasions..🌾 and we came across Popular Essentials.. and now we are hooked!!!🌾 . 🌾Popular Essentials Basmati Rice is not only a superior quality, long grained rice which is non-sticky and cooks well but it is quite afforadable considering the quality.✔ . This has become an absolute favourite.💕 . And what better way to celebrate it than cook my daughter's favourite dish. 💃A simple corn pulao which can be had with any gravy of your choice..or simply on its own if you want something light!🥘 . 🌽Simple and tasty, along with the base of some onions fried till translucent and the usual garam masala, add in some corn kernels, and maybe your choice of quick cook vegs/greens or some partially boiled/tossed vegs.. and then add the rice.. cook till done..top off with some coriander...simple! The corn lends that burst of sweetness which is just awesome 😍😍😍 And of course the additional nutritional value! . If you have a thing for fragrant rice, you'll love this basmati rice by @popularessentials .  Basmati rice is known to have a  low Gi compared to regular white rice which makes it more prefferable in the Indian kitchen.
