What would we do without dads? My dad can fix almost anything and I’ve known it my whole life. He used to fix my toys (including a @barbie head that wouldn’t stay on) and now he’s still fixing stuff for me. Dad is excellent with electronics and computers among other things. So as a last resort for my power cord that the dog literally chewed in half and into pieces, I called dad. I just don’t have 80 bucks to spend on another one (the second one in a month Murph has destroyed and I’m a careful pet parent! Also apple charging cords don’t last for s*** and they know it! #plannedobsolescence). Well, for the moment, dad saved me 80 bucks! He carefully looked the cord over and did some soldering 👨🏻‍🏭and carefully wrapped it up. He’s nothing if not a perfectionist. He said it didn’t look pretty but it charged. Pretty? I can’t afford pretty I will take working thank you very much! So for now it works again and all it cost me was a trip to dad’s house and a medium chocolate frosty from @wendys as payment 😊 Yay dad!
