i finished tlou (hbo) and at the risk of sounding contrarian & negative, i feel kind of lost as to all the hype. for me the show was a 3 or 4/10.
#never played the games#but the show just felt very dull and one-note#every plot development is easy to anticipate. zero creative risks taken#joel & ellie actors did incredible with the material they were given but idk#overall i was bored & i think i would rather just watch children of men again#ppl must really think im contrarian but the truth is i desperately want to enjoy & like things tbhhh
