Bargains purchased ready for curing. A salmon sized half a trout for £4 and 10 x 6 inch Sardines. . . I will be salt and lemon and parsley cure the trout and I am still deciding what to do with the sardines. Salt curing sounds the easiest but I’m also aware I could can some in a tomato sauce which is an easy light meal for us on toast and a much easier way to get Tanny to eat them. Right now though they are in the freezer so i gain a couple of days to decide. . . I shall make a decision later today.
