If you ever want to have a real bad time, I recommend the FND tag. A lot of people getting thrown into the diagnostic waste-bin by their doctors when they've probably got some kind of autoimmune disorder, and a lot of people who put on the Nike sneakers, drank the Kool-aid and joined the cult. Because that's what it is. It's a Neo-Freudian cult.

#FND doesn't exist #at least not in the way it's defined these days #prior to the expansion of the diagnostic criteria so that it covered what had been of somatic symptom disorder and conversion disorder #it was confined to movement disorders like a sudden inability to move one's arms #or hysterical blindness #these were transitory conditions that often resolved within days or weeks #then Wessely and White rebranded it in the '00s and it's hysteria 2.0 #it's literally renamed Conversion Disorder #it's Freudian nonsense #it's the same fucking psychiatrists who tried to cover up ME/CFS #and now they just use it to waste-bin women with chronic health issues and maybe a little PTSD #good luck getting that off of your records #you're fucked
