Hi! Does anyone knows (or do you have hypothesis/theories) where Cape Cod is based from? Since most of the chapters/ep of BF is based on names of novels, I kind of get where Cape Cod is referenced with which is Cape Cod by Henry David Thoreau: same aesthetics and vibes toward the cover and same content with BF sides story being Ash's hell and America's example of failed environmental system.

Hi! Okay I've no idea if I'm too late in answering this because tumblr never notified me about the ask rip ;_;

I didn't buy the copies of any of the manga / short stories, and read them on various manga hosting sites sksksdfksjds

So. I tried looking into it, and I see my biggest resource, mangadex is down until further notice. And several other sites I was familiar with are apparently down as well....ugh...

But! I think someone uploaded the fan translated extra stories to the banana fish wiki, in which case, thank you so much, whoever u are! The translations are by yoru-no-gaspard, who used to be on tumblr, but sadly deactivated. I saw their tl are still up in the wiki!

My eye twitches every time a character refers to Ash as a devil or demon. He's neither of those things; he's a victim who used the tools forced upon him in order to survive.

I had the raw for Private Opinion for months before the wonderful @yoru-no-gaspard fan translated it ,I knew from looking at the raws it couldn't be nothing good and was ready to get my heart shattered again. 

Let me tell you how much it hurt seeing 14 yo Ash suffer like that ,like you said my heart was bleeding out. Blanca did his best in situation they where both in. 

Just when you think Banana Fish has hurt you enough it finds a new way to do it again.
