The stumbling block, during implementation, is the ever-existing possibility that the process defeats the purpose.

When I got into #processimplementation, I was trained by experts in the process and was the #SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the organization. But, with limited deployment experience, I learned (the hard way) that we need to ALWAYS keep the “Deliverables” in focus.

Process Book #7

This week the team was tasked with conceptualizing the application. We ended up designing a user narrative to demonstrate how a user will interact with the app and creating key screens to showcase what we had in mind.

In light of the Thanksgiving holiday, we had a couple dependencies and highlighted items we needed to agree upon before everyone went on their vacation. From there, we split up the work into 2 parts:

1. Key Screens

2. Storyboard

With the work divided up, we creatively designed on our separate ways - ensuring that the pieces lined up and echoed the main communication objective of that step in the process.
