how do ppl write. all i know is work on scenes at random & out of order but then not know how to connect them to make a coherent series of events
which is bad enough for a story, but for a game with multiple endings & some light exploration its rlly not ideal. yay i thought up some endings but how do we get there. how will the routes diverge, what changes between option A & B. ive just been writing character interactions & trying to figure out how the bulk of the route wil go

ok i have gained access to a WONDROUS new tool so i can organize things for planning randtorch route !! i can put together a board with all my notes & references & ideas & make a flowchart for planning & its gonna be AWESOME :D
first things first i need to figure out what actually happens. so if anyone wants to help me crowdsource ideas,,,, i mean. what sorts of unhinged ways are there to try to boost someones confidence? so far ive only got "take them to a horror attraction" bc the thinking a cryptid has is along the lines of: be brave when scared = strengthening nerves = become confident. so it doesnt even have to directly be abt boosting confidence, just what a cryptid that lives in the park & drinks cough syrup recreationally Thinks that entails
