some impressions of my walk through dortmund yesterday. dortmund was 95 % destroyed through bombs after world war 2, making it one of germany's most modern cities when it comes to architectural structures ( the whole ruhrpott was affected, so other cities in that region had the same fate ). it's not exactly pretty all the time, but there are buildings that are exceptional and awesome in their own way! plus, not everything of the old city got completely destroyed ( churches! ) and they are like oases in a city that's busy as fuck 😬 1. dortmunder u - center for creativity and art. 2.
