Tucker, Ultimate Phlebotomist For context, a phlebotomist is a person who takes blood samples from patients. Tucker is the sort that takes his talent very seriously, which is great (and important) when he's practicing it, but makes him give a general impression of having a stick up his ass. He seems a little standoffish at first, which is reasonable enough during a killing game but doesn't earn him many friends. However those that give him a chance to warm up find that he is quite pleasant. He's less useful than he wants to be when the murders start happening, as his talent doesn't apply itself to solving murders as some of the others think it does. Though there are a few times were his knowledge of blood comes in handy, just not as often as the others thought it might.

Tom, Ultimate Trickster Tom is a pretty odd ultimate, as he's clearly extremely skilled in his chosen talent, but that happens to make him extremely annoying to be around at times. He's well know for large scale tricks, some more similar to elaborate pranks, while others are more akin to magic tricks. During the killing game, at first his reaction seems a little odd as he doesn't believe the situation is real. He acts almost jealous that someone has managed to set up a better trick than him. This drives more than a few people to anger, though he does still manage to make a few friends, most noticably Jordan. This leads to the worst way he could've possibly realised the killing game was the real deal as he discovers Jordan's corpse. After the first case, he's noticable less full of energy. He still retains his joking attitude but he's notably more on edge and less trusting than he was previously.

James (aka Waglington), Ultimate Architect One of the more famous of the ultimates, James has designed a couple of relatively famous buildings and overseen their construction despite his young age. Some people say that his abilities are like magic, though he would insist that's going too far. During the killing game, he's friendly for the most part. However, there's also an vibe to him that really feels like he's plotting at murder at any given moment. He's not a complete ass, he's honestly quite nice, but he almost seems impressed by the murder methods and almost seems to be investigating to figure out how it was done rather than figuring out the culprit. Yet, despite this, people still can't help but get along with him.

Hope you like some more of these ideas, especially as I feel like I'm branching out a bit more with their talents. Also, tell me if you have any talents ideas for other characters (particularly the other streamers as I'm only really familiar with the ones I've already done).

Dream SMP and Mianite Parallel Thoughts:

Tom and Tommy have similar flaws as characters

The inability to hold back (words, getting into pointless fights, no seriously you have no armor why are you fighting)

Their loud over eager and brash personality

Loyalty to friends and to a cause to the point it damns them to fail

The names

How the differences change their arcs along with their foils

Tom

His foil is CaptainSparklez (Jordan) who constantly counters and opposes him. Jordan's relentless "middle path" mindset.

His capacity for destruction compared to his foil changes him from protagonist to antagonist

Tom believes he's evil and acts thusly

Tommy

His foil is Tubbo, who is largely cooperative and uncombative (except for the exile). Tubbo constantly seeks to do the "greater good" which means he's often swayed by other's opinions. While similar to Jordan in some respects, he largely doesn't challenge Tommy's viewpoints

Tommy isn't that powerful in the grand scheme of destruction. He isn't able to execute the most terrible acts like his counterparts Wilbur and Technoblade--it ultimately makes him more sympathetic

Tommy believes he is good

Overall both were the most popular in their series' dominant days (excluding Isles), and often found annoying by detractors.

Ignoring IRL issues, as characters they possess similar charisma and sway in their blind optimism and unflinching devotion to their causes. For Tom, his was rooted in a belief of 'the evil option' and for Tommy his comes more across as 'naive pursuit for freedom and good.' Tommy's age also plays a part, as the audience connects more with someone their age and the amount of media for YA who casts the young rebellious teen as a hero.

It's interesting as a viewer of both SMPs to see similar arcs, and wonder how other characters would fair in the universes of the other SMPs.

I went to watch toms video from mondays stream and the comments are 30% "im going to snitch on you, you literally used game commands to cheat so you could steal on a non purge day" which i get, because like, thats a dick move (even before you account for him stealing STORY ITEMS), and 70% "tom i love it when you make fun of autistic people because i like making fun of autistic people. Anyone who gets mad at your trolls is just a sperg" which like. as someone with autism it really hurts that this series ive loved for so long is owned by a guy who constantly "reee"s mockingly. I normally put up with it but stealing both other players story items was a real asshole thing to do
