people's inability to talk about situations with nuance online is causing bizarre problems yet again
#this is in regards to the person on staff#for the record: i agree it raises some questions about the type of people on staff#and it's ridiculous that staff can completely erase posts that are about a staff member but not actual t*rfs/n*zis/etc.#HOWEVER. some people have really jumped the shark.#i know there are multiple pieces of media and their politics in question but just to easily explain it#publicly liking and making content for h.p. doesn't make you a t*rf. it DOES bring into question how much of a trans ally you are.#and by making the t*rf accusation you move away from the actual point at hand - why is staff not taking action when it matters?#unless i am SUPER out of the loop and people have actually found concrete reason to accuse this person of these things#i am inclined to say 'it's a bit sketchy' and move onto the actual questions that matter#staff is fuckin sketchy like we know this but. yelling at the problem and doing nothing else doesn't fix it.
