Glee cast sings The Fame by Lady Gaga

Made some threads on twitter, will post them here and talk about it endlessly since there’s no character limit here, I think
Just Dance feat. Colby O’Donis sung by Artie, Puck and Sam in “Prom Queen”
-I’m 70% confident Kevin mentioned they were going to sing this in a mash-up with Dj Got Us Fallin’ in Love, Puck and Sam’s country voices worked a lot in Friday so I think they would do something interesting with Just Dance, maybe not something everyone would like but I’m ver curious about it, no doubts Artie would slay the rapping.
LoveGame sung by Quinn and Santana in “I Do”
-a song about being all horned up at a party? This is for them. I imagine them climbing into the stage and just started signing this while all of the couples and friends dance together in the middle of the dance floor, and Quinntana would be acting very sus on the stage and Brittany would notice
Paparazzi sung by Rachel and Shelby in “Theatricality”
-I absolutely hate Poker Face gcv, it’s terrible, and the worse part: it’s sung by Lea and Idina, they are SO GOOD, and they would do such a good job, anyways, if they still wanted to do something slower and more broadway-y I think Paparazzi would be the fit, the song is very dramatic after all.
Poker Face sung by Santana Lopez
-editing this part, while I’d love a Tincedes duet, this song talks about having sex with men but thinking about woman, like, for real, she’s the one that has to sing this song, I feel dumb for not doing this earlier but oh well, plus, her voice would fit better in my opinion
Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) sung by Quinn Fabray in season 2
-I believe she could’ve sung this after Sam broke up with her and started dating Santana, the song is very slow, kind of like a ballad so I think it would fit Quinn’s more softer voice.
Beautiful, Dirty, Rich sung by Sugar Motta
-this could take place later in season 3 or in season 4 if they created a storyline where Sugar could sing, while not being the best singer, Vanessa Lengies can sing, and if I’m being honest, beautiful, dirty and rich describes Sugar very well.
The Fame sung by Blaine Anderson with the Warblers in season 2
-one of the infinite season 2 Blaine solos, not the biggest fan of acapella music but the warblers do it decently and I can almost listen to the warblers doing some “ding-ding-dee” in replace of the guitar in the beginning of the song.
Money Honey sung by Brittany, Kitty, Marley, Sugar, Tina and Unique in “Naked”
-the original episode focuses a lot on Rachel and the glee boys, honestly I don’t even remember if Brittany or Marley have lines this episode, either way, Wannabe and I Love It are very good and fun numbers so I’d love to see them perform this, I’d specially like to see Sugar singing the line “That's M-O-N-E-why so sexy?”.
Starstruck feat. Flo Rida & Space Cowboy sung by Artie and Brittany in “Blame It On the Alcohol”
-honestly I can’t exactly picture a scene where this could happen, maaaybe a karaoke sort of scene where both of them are singing? I don’t know, all I know is that Gaga in this song sounds a lot like Heather Morris to me.
Boys Boys Boys sung by Kurt Hummel in late season 2
-Kurt is hot, that’s true, he’s attractive, and even if a lot of guys weren’t romantically or sexually attracted to him, all of them liked Kurt, and Kurt deserved a song to show how awesome he was, this is it, instead of singing “Boys, Boys, Boys, we love them” as in Kurt’s attraction towards men, it would be “Boys, Boys, Boys, we love them” as in all of the boys happy that the awesome Kurt is back, and of course Kurt would be the only one actually singing, that’s Kurt “I’m singing a duet with the most talented person in the club … myself” Hummel after all.
Paper Gangsta sung by Quinn, Rachel and Santana
-unlike the previous description which in normal size characters was 11 lines long, I have no idea where or how this would take place, all I say is: their voices fit the song, specially Quinn’s.
Brown Eyes sung by Mike Chang in season 4
-I actually wanted Tina to sing this as her ballads are very good, but re-reading the lyrics (as well as literally the title of the song) Mike would be the perfect choice lyrics wise, brown eyes being Tina’s insecurity is so random but it’s an characteristic of her that I like, we never got an answer on why they broke up, it’s something I wanted to know very bad cause they seemed to be a very understanding couple regarding problems, and on top of that, just give Mike songs, seriously his last song was in season 4 episode 8, he appears in 10 episodes after this and not even a line in a group number? C’mon.
I Like It Rough sung by Santana Lopez in “Laryngitis”
-I can totally picture her singing this to Puck in the glee club, he would be smirking since the song is mildly dirty which would make Mercedes jealous and therefore would give birth to The Boy is Mine, this would also be her first solo on the show so.
Summerboy sung by Mercedes Jones in “Yes/No”
-this is the pov of Mercedes in their summer fling, she fell in love in the summer with this summer boy and how everything was fantastic, and just like many girls, she knew it would be nothing more than a summer thing, she didn’t know however that the summer boy would be a 6 foot tall men as clingy as a little boy named Sam Evans
Disco Heaven sung by Brittany, Mercedes and Santana in season 3
-In my original thread I wrote this as a sancedes duet in laryngitis, and… it doesn’t make a lot of sense, their voices would do a good job but lyric wise it doesn’t relate? Personally, throw Brittany in the mix as a Trouble Tones number and boom, maybe this could take place in an alternate Saturday night glee-ver where after Mr Schue ask why they chose this song over any other from the movie Brittany would say: “I chose this cause I want to go to disco Heaven when I die not disco inferno”.
Again Again sung by Marley Rose in season 5
-hey so this song is a bonus track from the album that is not featured in the playlist at the beginning, so in order to hear it you’ll need to access YouTube cause it’s also not on Spotify. Back to the song, this could take place when Marley is suspecting that Jake might be cheating on her, music could end with idk Unique and Kitty hugging her.
Retro, Dance, Freak sung by Brittany Pierce
-also a bonus track that’s actually featured in the fame monster album, okay so… this song is very boring… like really boring… so boring I originally chose Harmony for the sake reason of “it sounds like her”, when in reality, this song is Brittany’s brain trying to comprehend a single thought, that’s it, still hate this song
And that’s it, an entire album with 14 songs and 3 bonus tracks was covered, if you like it please share your opinion, if you didn’t please share as well, the next album will be The Fame Monster, that, due to the shorter numbers of songs it shouldn’t take long for me to post it, bye :)

25.01. 22:37 | Ilo Pisara vs Sandels 6 - 2
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round as I regale you with the tale of Ilo Pisara's latest icy escapade where we turned Sandels into slippers! A 6-2 triumph that had our opponents slipping faster than a banana peel on an ice rink. Let's talk about Teppo Winnipeg – oh, what a symphony of stickwork! With two goals and an assist, he was less like a defenseman and more like Mozart composing his next masterpiece. His defensive rating might've been just 70, but offensively? An 85 - which in hockey terms means he was spicier than a ghost pepper salsa! And Konsta Terde – if offense were currency, this guy would be printing money faster than inflation can keep up. Three assists to go with his pair of goals; though let’s not overlook those eleven giveaways. Konsta my friend, you're supposed to pass the puck to your teammates not gift-wrap it for the opposition! Jani Saari deserves some spotlight too—six points is no small feat unless you’re counting calories at a salad bar. But ten giveaways? Jani must have thought it was Christmas because he kept giving away pucks like they were going out of style. After previous stumbles against Mieslapset v7 (twice!) and Freddie Mercury Institute—which left us feeling flatter than soda left out overnight—we’ve bounced back harder than bad checks from shady characters. So here’s to future games where we glide towards glory rather than stumble over our own skate laces! Onward Ilo Pisara—to victories so sweet they make sugar seem bitter by comparison!

Death Warmed Up
[<15Min Read/~4K Words - Coffee Shop Au - Felix x Neutral Death!Reader - Fluff, Minor Angst - Dogs, Death, Coffee]
[Originally slated for the skzwriternet Cozy Collab, but here it is! Hope you enjoy.]

Masterlist | Feedback

You stared at the assignment you had found on your desk. This was late… by two years?
The notion was fully ludicrous. Even with a file like this, there was no way that it could reasonably have been delayed by two whole years. Then again, the idea of getting saddled with an interesting case intrigued you. It sort of felt fancy — important, even — to see this in your inbox when you sat at your desk. You flicked through the file again. Felix Lee, 21 years old: living on Borrowed Time since he was 19.
You hadn’t been an Arbiter very long, and you mulled over just how little Borrowed Time you’d really seen since your appointment. There was the tiny old grandmother — Jane, you thought her name was — a matriarch of her household and a staple of her community, but even then her Arbiter, Bill, could only find her a year from scraping together everything he could. He had told you all that when he did finally meet her at the end, he was in tears along with all her family, and she was the only one smiling. The fact that this kid could be afforded two years was a feat in and of itself, to a point that you were morbidly curious who the previous Arbiters were. The most recent was Jisung, a surprising name to find. Jisung was nice, he liked to maintain how he looked when he died in the mid-nineties, nose ring and flannel and all… and he currently worked as a first-level Arbiter, watching day-to-day activities between humans and the world around them. When you got transferred into the department you’d had no idea that he used to be up on this level. The previous Arbiter’s name was Chan: a name you didn’t recognize and had never heard around the office. Whatever had happened, you didn’t want to hear it. You didn’t want to get distracted by excuses. You needed to see for yourself.
◇─◇──◇──🍂──◇──◇─◇
It was a surprisingly balmy autumn afternoon when you finally found the cafe. Even with all the extra instincts and wherewithal you were afforded by your position, you still had to search around for the little coffee bar, a humble cubby hidden away in an alley off a side street in the bustling city. Some trees lined the sidewalk outside and the orange leaves managed to drift on by, and there was a young man sweeping them off the stoop of the cafe before he turned to go back inside. You opened your portfolio and pulled out your file again. You examined it closely. Could that have been him? The guy now cleaning up behind the bar? There was no way that was him. You stepped closer down the alley.
Thankfully, even if the young man in the window did look up, he wouldn’t see you in this plane you were currently occupying. Your body was only as real as your conscious willed it considering you were already dead, and right now you were perfectly content watching the barista bustling about behind the counter. A little old man with smart half-moon glasses waved from where he sat in his cracked leather armchair by a tall bookshelf, getting his attention.
“Felix, dear, could you top me off?”
Well, there, then. This was the guy.
He didn’t seem so special.
Felix didn’t look like his picture. That was your first hint. The photo was always a snapshot of the client at the time the referral was made to Arbitration, and he looked much worse for wear a couple years ago, laying in a hospital bed and hooked up to a spiderweb of tubes. Here, now, Felix stood tall and healthy, slim but fit under his apron, a modest but present definition in his arms showing through the rolled sleeves of his shirt as he set about making a new drink for the tottering old man. A spray of freckles adorned his dainty nose and rested among the golden glow of his cheeks, and he even had a little satisfied smile curling at his lip as he got the foam just right on the old man’s coffee.
You still didn’t see what all the fuss was about.
A dog ran up to Felix behind the counter, a panting golden retriever asking for pats, and your heart begrudgingly melted. In fact, there were even more dogs you hadn’t noticed. A small scotty rested at the feet of the old man. A tiny chihuahua slept in a basket on the counter that barely roused as Felix stepped over to add the drink to the man’s tab. A sleek sheepdog sat up from behind the counter to let him by, and a basset hound raised its head from where it sat in another chair when Felix set the warm cup on a small table by his elderly customer. Felix pet the dogs in a round and wiped up a string of drool from the basset with the corner of his apron before he returned to the counter and washed his hands.
Fine, so Felix was good with dogs.
But being good with dogs didn’t automatically mean you were entitled to Borrowed Time.
◇─◇──◇──🍂──◇──◇─◇
You returned with gusto the next day, ready to confront this supposedly difficult client. Your getup was simple, fully materialized now and dressed as a package courier. This form was common when working on this plane, even popular with other people in your department like Jisung, the previous Arbiter, who actually did use to deliver packages back before he died. It made sense in getting a feel for who a client really was. This was a blue collar worker that people were used to seeing and seeing through, and could really show who a person could be, given the right situation. And you really wanted to see who Felix could be.
You strolled into the cafe, large box in hand with a clipboard sitting on top and a pen tucked behind your ear. Felix perked up when you let it thunk onto the counter, the weight taking care of the poignancy.
“Delivery,” you boredly greeted. “Can you sign for this?”
“Er,” Felix stared — at you, the box, and back at you, “what is it? I wasn’t expecting anything.”
You laughed out loud as you held out your pen to him. “I don’t know, I’m just delivering it. Can you sign for this, please?”
Felix bit at his lip before he grabbed the proffered pen and signed, and you looked amused as you stood and watched him slice open the box with a pair of scissors from under the counter. What surprised you was that this old trick — this misdelivered box of assorted mugs and pens — only made Felix laugh.
“I didn’t order these!”
“That’s too bad,” you shrugged sympathetically. Admittedly, his smooth and deep voice was pleasantly unexpected, catching you off guard. “They’re addressed here and you signed for them.”
Felix’s eyes widened as he plucked out a piece of paper. “There’s an invoice?! With a balance on it?!”
But he still only laughed. You were a bit stumped.
“I guess I’ll pay this before I return it,” Felix shrugged. “I’d hate for someone to get a late bill on a mistake like this.”
You were puzzled, to say the least, as you turned to leave, but then Felix stopped you.
“Hey!” He called. “I feel bad that you had to come all the way here just for this to not be mine. Can’t I at least get you a drink on the house? Do you like dogs?”
The most astounding thing of all was you felt yourself heat up at his offer. This was well and truly bizarre, but you needed to check this out as well. There had to be fine print. You should’ve looked closer at the file.
You dumbly nodded as Felix gladly directed you over to a seat at the bar by his register. When he asked what you liked and you added a dumb shrug to your list of unintended responses, he shrugged in return and said he’d love to surprise you, then. Felix ground some beans down to a dense powder, pressed it into a puck, and pulled a couple espresso shots. You found yourself intrigued, having never seen or paid any attention to someone doing this by hand before. He steamed a small pitcher of milk until a modest head of creamy foam sat on top and carefully poured it in the center of the shots. He proudly slid the cup over to you on a saucer.
“A flat white,” he humbly presented. You silently nodded your gratitude and tried it. This was utterly confounding. The same misdelivery stunt got a shoe thrown at you by a client a few years back. You had to put the cup down as soon as you tried a sip.
“Is everything alright?” Felix worriedly asked. The fluffy lab originally sleeping on the rug in the center of the cafe got up to check on you, his wet nose leaving a slight print on your uniform pants.
“Er, yeah,” you gulped down the hot drink on your lips, “this is just really good. Are you sure I can’t pay you?”
Felix raised a hand to deny you. “Wouldn’t dream of accepting it. I’m sure you’ve been working hard all day anyway.”
“Sure have,” you stiffly lied. “Well, I can at least tip you.”
You conjured a wallet with a sizable bill inside, more than enough to cover the coffee as you quickly downed the modestly sized beverage. Felix beamed as you waved goodbye.
Fine.
So Felix was nice. So Felix was really nice. Felix was really nice, and kind, and he made good coffee.
But you’d have to try anyway. There was something in him that could convince you that he wasn’t 100% good, even though that shouldn’t have been a reason from the beginning.
◇─◇──◇──🍂──◇──◇─◇
You returned two nights later, but you didn’t enter the small side street. Instead, you paced in front of your parked bike out on the sidewalk, over and over again, working up the nerve. After a while, though, you knew it was time. You would goad Felix into dropping the act, into showing who he really was under all the sugar and sunshine. After making sure the sizeable package was sitting precariously on your handlebars to match the one on the back of your bike, you revved the little engine as Felix swept the stoop for the night. You barreled down the street, apparently unable to see much in front of you beyond the shoddy headlight. This was fine. This was easy. You’d done this before, and a saint of an old schoolteacher beat the snot out of you with their cane for it a while back. Felix noticed you at the last second, eyes widening comically as you reflexively honked.
You couldn’t do it.
Your finger barely squeezed the brake, but the front axle jackknifed and sent you ass over elbows onto the pavement.
Everything went white for a second and you definitely did not miss being alive in this moment, because this invariably sucked. And now Felix was there.
“It’s you!” Felix gasped and immediately offered you a hand up. “You scared the daylights out of me!”
“Uh,” you stammered and groaned, “I can say the same.” You could not wait to leave this plane and not feel the pain radiating in your hip and back. But right now, Felix was already pulling you into the cafe and fretting.
“Are you in a rush? You should at least sit down a moment.”
You sighed and let Felix seat you in a comfy chair by a heater in the small cafe, only lit by warm lamps at this time of night. The basset hound watching from a basket on the low windowsill came to sit at your feet as Felix hurriedly set about making you a hot cup of tea. He rushed over, light on his feet and pushing the warm mug into your hands. You nearly spat as you looked closer at the ceramic cup. “Is this—?”
“From that box you brought me the other day? Sure is.” Felix let the force of his belly laugh carry him into a chair beside you. “The funniest thing, really. I tried calling the phone number on that invoice and only got busy tones, and I tried looking up the business and only found dead websites. I figured I could always use pens and mugs, so now I have a supply and a funny story.”
You could crumple into dust, honestly. You set the mug on the little table by your chair, albeit a tad roughly. “I’m so sorry,” you shook your head, “but what is your deal? You’re literally the happiest person I ever met.”
Felix’s eyes pointed sharp into you. There it was.
But he wasn’t angry. He seemed embarrassed.
“Well,” he sighed, even still attempting to maintain his persistent smile, “it’s a long and tired story. I was really sick a couple years ago and I pulled through when no one thought I could.”
“I’m sorry—” you meekly interjected, but it was too late. The shine in Felix’s eye finally dulled, if only a little. You’d cracked him.
“It’s fine,” Felix reassured you. He gently patted your knee before he got back up to his feet. “You go ahead and enjoy your tea. I’m just glad you’re okay.”
“Of course, yeah,” you babbled as you got up and followed him anyhow, “I’m just glad I didn’t hit you.” You set the mug on the bar and sat down as he walked behind the register. The chihuahua in his basket drowsily got up and walked into your hand for pets.
“I was going to say the same,” Felix nodded tiredly with a worn smile. “It’s happened before. I guess I should put some lights up outside. A cute delivery boy almost ran me over with his bike about a year ago, too.”
“Delivery boy?” You asked starkly. Felix caught your look before falling right back into stride. His grin seemed to get its warmth back.
“Yeah,” he nodded amusedly. “He had an adorable nose ring, I remember I was terrified I almost ripped it out when he helped me up.”
Felix looked confused at the very least as you choked on your tea.
“I’m sorry,” you sputtered out. “You know I — it’s weird that — I just remembered I need to be somewhere. Thank you again, for everything.” You dug out entirely too much money for the tea and clapped it down onto the counter before grabbing your things and sprinting out the door.
◇─◇──◇──🍂──◇──◇─◇
Jisung looked caught as you slapped Felix’s file on his desk. “Hi,” he squeaked as you towered over him.
“What happened when you tried to crack him?”
The young Arbiter let his head drop back with a hard sigh. “You got the file? I knew he couldn’t last long.”
“You only gave him another year, you had to know this was coming.”
“He was just so—? He’s so nice, and genuine, and warm?” Jisung blathered on as he sat back up and flipped through the file. “He was never the same since what Chan did. He was the most amazing turnaround I’d ever seen.”
“So you gave him a year—“
“I didn’t.” Jisung shook his head. “Look closer at the file. I put him back in the queue for Reassessment.”
“What do you mean you—“
“Look,” Jisung insisted. He grabbed your sleeve and dragged you down the hall. “I put him back in Reassessment and was lucky to only get demoted. After what Chan did, I couldn’t bring myself to do more.”
“What are you showing me?”
“Here.”
Jisung shook out his hands and you found yourself standing beside him in a graveyard. This was a pleasant enough place to end up. The grass was neatly trimmed and there were trees and benches to sit on. The orange and red leaves scattered around looked like confetti, a graceful celebration at the end of life. Jisung stood between two headstones.
“I made the mistake of looking at what Chan did, except Felix’s family wasn’t gone yet when he had the file. They were on their way out, though. He saw that they were leaving soon, and Felix would be alone with his grandfather at his cafe. His grandfather would be all alone after losing all of them, and that would be after everything Felix would go through, getting sick and getting better and learning to live again. Chan saw a horrible ending to an awful story and put a stop to it, and he got banished for it.”
“That’s not fair though,” you shook your head, “no matter how much you or he wanted it.”
“But look at him!” Jisung reeled. “That decision made one of the brightest humans I’ve ever seen. When I put him back to Reassessment, I just spent time around him before I was called back. I suggest you do the same, no matter what you choose. I hope this helped.”
Jisung haughtily folded his arms before he vanished. You finally looked more closely at the headstones. Those years were much too close together. Your heart hung low in your gut.
◇─◇──◇──🍂──◇──◇─◇
Felix grinned wide when you returned to the cafe. He immediately set about making you a drink.
“I was wondering when I’d see you again.”
“You were?”
This was feeling familiar, like you were home or at a friend’s house, while you sat yourself in an easy chair and let the panting sheepdog sit between your feet so you could scratch under her chin.
“Yeah!” Felix brightly called over. “Because you asked why I’m like this, I sort of only gave you half an answer.”
“I’m sorry again,” you lamented.
“It’s fine,” Felix said adamantly as he set a warm mug in your hands. He gestured grandly before sitting down. “A latte. Now, I only gave you half an answer. The fact of the matter is that I spent a good while tied to tubes and machines with nothing to do and no choice in the matter. Now, all this time later, I’m just happy to be here, because I know the day after could be any day now.”
“The day after?”
Felix nodded. “When you come away from something like that, later it just feels like a day. One big day, or week, or whatever is tangible, but it definitely wasn’t forever. It feels like one big day to me. This, in the grand scheme of things, is the day after that, but the day after this, when everything actually does end— I’m expecting it. And I’m not scared, but I’m going to be enjoy my time here as much as I can.”
“You’re not scared?”
“Not anymore,” Felix shook his head in determination. “I had to cope with my own loss like everyone else was getting ready to cope with losing me. I didn’t get to have that luxury of not expecting it anymore, because I know what it looks like and I know what’s coming. To do anything else would be a disservice, so I’d rather walk into it with a clear mind and a full life.”
You thought of Bill and Jane, how she was the only one not crying at the end. It was hard to place exactly how you felt, sipping your coffee made with loving hands in this small cafe full of an inordinate amount of golden afternoon sunlight for being so hidden away from the main road. Felix fit here — cosmically, almost, in the least dramatic way you could muster.
“I’m really glad you feel that way,” you said, hoping that the added sincerity hidden behind the sentiment was felt.
The shimmer in Felix’s eyes told you it was. “I am, too. And I’m especially glad you’re back, because I like seeing you around. I don’t think I’ve given away this many free drinks since that delivery boy last year.”
“I like seeing you, too, Felix.” You finally admitted it, and it was true, even more so as Felix’s shining smile grew even more. You did like seeing Felix, and you would continue to see Felix as much as you were able, all the way to the end.

"THIRTH YEARS AGO , TODAY - ON AUGUST 31 , 1987 - MICHAEL JACKSON DEBUTED ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED ÁLBUNS IN THE HISTORY OF POP MUSIC : BAD , THE FOLLOW -UP TO 1982's THRILLER , WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN CERTIFIED 20 X PLATINUM BY THE RIAA UPON ITS SUCCESSOR'S RELEASE, WELL ON ITS WAY TO BECOMING THE BEST-SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIMES . " " Undaunted, Jackson and producer Quincy Jones attempted to outdo themselves with Bad, setting their sales goals even higher the next time around. "I heard was that [Michael] was carrying around -- I can’t remember if it was a quarter and a nickel or three dimes -- but he was carrying around 30 cents in his pocket because he wanted to sell [that many million copies of Bad]," says Geoff Mayfield, retail editor at Billboard in 1987. Jackson would fall well short of that goal -- Bad had topped out at 6-times platinum in the U.S. by the time the album's promo cycle finally ended at the close of the '80s, and was finally certified diamond (for 10 million equivalent album units) by the RIAA earlier this year. But despite the lesser sales, Bad did achieve a feat that not only did Thriller not accomplish, but that no album in history ever had before: It spawned five No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Each of the set's first five singles -- Siedah Garrett ballad duet "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," storming title track "Bad," strutting love song "The Way You Make Me Feel," anthemic power ballad "Man in the Mirror" and rock-infused backstage drama "Dirty Diana" -- made it all the way to the Hot 100's apex, breaking the previous record of four No. 1 hits off the same album, initially set in 1978 by the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. For more than two decades, Bad reigned as the lone album to notch five Hot 100-toppers, until Katy Perry finally tied the achievement in 2011 with her fifth No. 1 off sophomore album Teenage Dream. So how did an album that largely failed to live up to commercial expectation manage to do something no blockbuster album had managed before? A lot of the answer can be found through the album's surrounding context -- in terms of Michael Jackson's career, in terms of the pop landscape in the late '80s and in terms of the Billboard charts of the time. Though Thriller managed "only" two Hot 100 No. 1s of its own -- "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" -- it raised the bar for how long an album's shelf life could last. "It’s one of those few records I can think of with three meaningful Christmas seasons," says Mayfield. "When I was at Billboard [in 1984] it was the third Christmas season for Thriller, and it was still one of the records that retailers cited as a traffic builder for them, and that’s unusual." The album also set new standards for the number of hit singles that could be pulled from the same record, with seven of its nine tracks becoming top 10 hits on the Hot 100 -- a then-record. "Having seven top 10 hits [on Thriller] was important," says Larry Stessel, senior VP/marketing for Jackson's Sony-owned label Epic in the '80s. "Because you had all of those songs that were being played on 98 percent of the radio stations in the country, whether it was some lesser singles... as long as they’re in the top 10 or top five, they’re going to have a tremendous impact." After Thriller, albums that previously would've only spun off three or four singles were now increasingly likely to have five, six, even seven songs pulled as A-sides before the artist would move on to a next album. Tellingly, Def Leppard's Diamond-selling Pyromania set, released just a couple months after Thriller in 1983, saw only four songs released as singles, but by the time of 1987 follow-up Hysteria, that LP spawned seven singles -- with the fourth and fifth single in the U.S. ("Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Love Bites") becoming the set's biggest Hot 100 hits, reaching Nos. 2 and 1, respectively. "'We should do a rock version of Michael Jackson’s Thriller,'" Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen recalled to Billboard of producer Mutt Lange's goals for Hysteria. Also contributing to these albums' extended lifespans was the rise of MTV. Albums like Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. (1984) and Janet Jackson's Control (1986) were able to generate at least five top 10 hits each (seven for Born) in large part because many of their singles were accompanied by captivating music videos that were endlessly promoted on what had become the world's most influential musical outlet. And Michael Jackson, who had helped the channel go truly global with videos for Thriller's "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and the title track, was the station's unquestioned male lead. "They were so hungry for Michael Jackson videos that we could’ve put out Michael singing 'Happy Birthday' and they would’ve played it," Stessel recalls. And when Bad was finally ready for release in 1987, a half-decade after Thriller had permanently changed the parameters for pop album scaling, it was given one of the great promotional pushes in record industry history. Walter Yetnikoff, then-CEO of CBS and Sony Music, was behind Jackson fully. At the time, Columbia Records (a CBS division) had mega-selling acts Springsteen, Pink Floyd and Billy Joel on its roster, but it was clear which artist was Yetnikoff's top priority. "As much as Walter loved those [other] acts, Michael was the king at the company,” says one former Sony executive. “The push behind Jackson kept Columbia from getting to No. 1 with their records. They over-aggressively promoted Michael Jackson, because that was what Walter wanted.” (Journey's Frontiers album on Columbia stalled at No. 2 for nine weeks in 1983, stuck behind Thriller.) The Bad album -- whose progress was kept as a secret even to Jackson's label, Epic Records, until shortly before it was delivered -- was first introduced to a who's who of radio and retail bigwigs at a private dinner at the pop star's house in Encino, California. "The first thing I thought was... we have to make Michael real to the industry again," says Jim Caparro, then-head of sales at Epic. "To make him real again I came up with this wild notion that we should bring all the accounts and big radio people to Michael’s house and have him debut the album to them." “Sony brought in Wolfgang Puck, he was the chef at the house,” recalls Bruce Ogilvie, now the CEO of Alliance Entertainment and the then-owner of the Abbey Road One-Stop distributor, about the summit. “They had all the Sony senior people there and [manager] Frank DiLeo was there, and so was Janet Jackson. They didn’t spare any expense. They picked everyone up in limousines to bring us there. It floated around the party that Michael Jackson was sleeping upstairs in the oxygen chamber but would come down later.” Bad was brought to the general public via a half-hour special, Michael Jackson: The Magic Returns, which debuted on CBS primetime the night before the album was released. The centerpiece of the special was the "Bad" music video, an 18-minute short film helmed by legendary director Martin Scorsese and co-starring a pre-fame Wesley Snipes. "It was on from 8-8:30 [on CBS] and it was the No. 5 show of the week," says Stessel, who wrote, produced and directed the program (along with Don Wilson), which also featured a short catch-up film summarizing Michael's career to that point. "It was a tremendous coup... we shipped 4.2 million copies [of the album], and we sold half of it the first week." All of this set the scene for a singles rollout that built on the momentum of Thriller and attempted to take it to new heights. "The album of your career is always going to put you on a higher plateau than you were before," Mayfield says. "And I would say that Thriller did some of the heavy lifting for Bad just by making his tent larger than it ever could have been prior to that album." Not wanting to mess with the successful formula of the latter, the release strategy for Bad closely mirrored that of its predecessor. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," with Siedah Garrett -- the more traditional pop duet without a music video -- was pulled as a single first (as the Paul McCartney collab "The Girl Is Mine" was from Thriller), followed by two more obvious modern pop knockouts with elaborate visuals to match in "Bad" and "The Way You Make Me Feel" (just like "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" an album earlier). "Everything was about, 'Let’s just do everything the Thriller way,'" Stessel recalls. "

Glee cast sings extra songs by Lady Gaga (and some other people)
These are just a few songs either by other artists featuring Gaga, or singles not belonging to any era in particular or an EP or … the Gnomeo and Juliet soundtrack?

Vanity sung by Rachel Berry in season 1
-this is such a Rachel coded song, I can totally picture her singing this at one point in the first season, maybe start as her singing at the auditorium following her to the hallways until she gets slushied, funny honestly since the song is about glamour and being famous.
Christmas Tree feat. Space Cowboy sung by Artie and Sugar
-I’m convinced every artist has a song that it’s absolutely terrible, for Katy Perry is Peacock, for Avril Lavigne is that cover of O Holy Night, for Gaga is this one, I have yet to hear something so terrible, literally sat down and felt like grinch, I would have Sugar sung this terribly in the episode and slightly better in the studio version cause even tho Vanessa Lengies can sing no one can sing this song and be good.
Fashion sung by Kurt and Tina in “Theatricality”
-rise animation meme fuckers, tbh I was very surprised a gaga song became an animation meme, I was even more surprised to know that the song was going to be featured in the sex and the city movie but got scrapped, anyway, the episode with Tina needing to find a new look, who better to help her than Kurt? This would look kind of like Diva in season 4 with Kurt and Tina cat walking and later Mercedes, Quinn, Brittany, Santana and Rachel would join.

Chillin by Wale sung by Artie, Rachel and Tina in season 1
-this would be a fantasy song by Artie, he would be rapping about how cool he is and blablabla and Rachel and Tina would basically be thirsting over him kind of like the girls in rappers MV’s, until he would wake up with Tina stuttering and Rachel being annoying and he would go back to his reality
Big Girl Now by New Kids on the Block sung by Brody and Rachel
-this song is catchy as fuck but lyric wise it’s a bit… strange. From what I understood, it’s about a grown man singing about a little girl he knew, that is now a big girl (aka an adult) and… yeah it doesn’t fit exactly their relationship but the other option would be Rachel and Mr Schue singing… this song is very straight forward to throw the naive card at Will, so Brody will do, he’s like 22? 23? Older than Rachel so yeah
Video Phone by Beyoncé sung by Santana and Tina in “Sexy”
-Telephone’s little sister, lil sis is a little 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 tho, that’s definitely something Santana would sing on the first seasons, just throw Tina in the mix with her whole goth style simulating leather or something, could be something very hot to come out of Sexy for example, even so since Tina mentions not having any asian sex symbols for her to get inspired

Bad Romance (Halestorm cover) sung by Artie, Finn and Puck in “Theatricality”
-okay i’m annoyed, you have a “Gaga episode” in season 1 except only two out of five songs are from Gaga, and one of them was done dirty, I actually like Beth and I don’t really mind Funny Girl, but Shout It Out Load is a no no, I wish the boys would’ve sung a rock version of Gaga, the only I could think off was the halestorm cover of Bad Romance, and honestly, I think they would kill it
Hello, Hello with Elton John sung by Beiste and Will
-I think Will deserves to have a black and white fantasy performance with the teaching trinity, he has with Sue and Emma but not with Beiste. Could happen in season 4 at the time she had a crush on Will, specially since this song is from the… Gnomeo and Juliet soundtrack… yeah
White Christmas sung by Blaine and Kurt in “Glee, Actually”
-one of the few songs who were already covered in glee, of course, this version is also a cover by gaga, and since there’s no headcanon to add I will just say that I like Gaga’s version more, it’s more serene and calm and Kurt’s “ay-ay-ay-ay” it’s… not for me

Orange Colored Sky sung by Artie and Brittany in “A Very Glee Christmas”
-I feel like the two of them had the major role in this episode and it would make sense if they got a song together, specially this one that’s very cute and sweet, it could maybe be performed at Britt’s house or at the ending scene of the episode with the New Directions caroling while they sing
3-Way (The Golden Rule) by The Lonely Island with Justin Timberlake sung by Blaine, Sam and Tina in season 5
-this song is very funny, you should definitely listen, it’s about a threesome, and how it’s not gay as long as a girl is involved, that’s the most blamtina song I have heard, I definitely would love to see the rest of the glee club reactions, especially in the part when Sam sings, and I quote “helicopter dick helicopter dick helicopter dick”
Stuck on Fuckin’ You sung by April Rhodes
-this song was written for April omg, that’s literally a song about her admitting her attraction to Will while saying how he is her alcohol and her addiction, and while I’m not a fan of April or her situationship with Will she’s pretty much the only woman that can sing country so she’s an obvious choice, let’s see how many times she appears in Joanne
We’re Doing a Sequel with Tony Bennett sung by Artie, Blaine, Dani, Elliot, Jake, Kitty, Marley, Ryder, Sam, Tina, Unique and Will in “Puppet Master”
-as you can see, it’s the muppets so of course it has to be from that awful episode, it would obviously be a fantasy number in which Blaine sings the majority of the song with the new directions and Will having small line segments and such, and now you ask, where tf is Gaga and Tony in this? They have exactly ONE LINE, yes, and for that, Dani and Elliot would have those lines as they’re, you know, one liners Hollywood features, that’s it
Til It Happens to You sung by Kitty and Ryder
-wow, listening to this being a SA victim is very powerful, this song is from a documentary about rape/abuse/molestation of woman on universities and colleges, I can’t think of everyone else but these two to sing about it, they weren’t the only ones sexually assaulted on the show, but were definitely the ones to be affected the most by it, they would sing this together, holding hands in mutual support for each other and for everyone else who unfortunately suffered from the same fate
Winter Wonderland with Tony Bennett sung by Blaine and Kurt in “Previously Unaired Christmas”
-Klaine’s best duets came from christmas episodes, the fact that they don’t have one in season 5 is depressing, I mean, I don’t know how it would fit with neither of the two plot points in the episode but I’m curious about how it would sound, plus, volume 4 had only 6 songs while the other three had 10-12 songs, let’s talk about lazy
The Cure sung by Marley Rose
-this song gives Marley Rose writing career, the song is very catchy and pop-y and it’s definitely something Marley would write at one point or another, maybe the New Directions would encourage her to do a YouTube video of the song and they would back her up, and maybe at the end of the episode we would see a lot of vocal producers at Marley’s comment section
Your Song by Elton John sung by Ryder Lynn in “Shooting Star”
-I love this cover, Ryder has always been such a gentleman, to me at least, I may have a soft spot for guys who dedicate songs for their lovers, unfortunately for Ryder it was that awful fake Katie catfish Unique thingy, if he sang this to Unique in fact, or Kitty, Marley, Jake, whatever it would definitely be appreciated more as a cover
I Want Your Love by Chic with Nile Rodgers sung by Kurt, Quinn and Rachel in season 1
-I think one of the best parts of season 1 is how many bitches Finn was getting with that stupid baby face of his, counting, Rachel, Quinn, Kurt, Santana and Brittany, that boy was on fire, anyway, this song would be sung by the three of them in various situations, it would be before the baby reveal so it’s Quinn wanting Finn to love her while he loves Rachel, for Rachel it would be the opposite, and for Kurt it would be him admiring him from afar
Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Brian Newman sung by Rachel Berry in “Audition”
-Rachel would sing this similarly to What I Did for Love, singing about how she had good intentions but no one thinks that way, even so, she doesn’t want to be misunderstood, you know, it’s not like she sent someone to an ACTIVE crackhouse
Sweet Sounds of Heaven by The Rolling Stones sung by Artie and Mercedes
-this song is pure vibes, I can’t explain in words, is an experience to listen to this song, of course it has to be sung by the powerful duo, artcedes, these two manage to turn anything they touch into gold if they’re doing it together, this song would be like, the song where everyone breaks character and claps when they finish of how good it is, I wish I could talk more about this song cause I genuinely loved it so much
Santa Claus is Coming to Town sung by Finn, Joe and Puck in “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”
-yes, Joseph ‘Joe’ Hart sings in this, only in the studio version since he was only introduced like four episodes later, which SUCKS as a Joe fan, while Rory and Sugar had a decent amount of bonding time, Joe barely had any outside Quinn and maybe Mercedes and Sam, it would be nice to see him dressed as a Star Wars character and just having fun with Finn and Puck
Wrap, I wasn’t planning on doing any of this songs but thank god I did, some of these are definitely in my playlist now, thank you gagapedia for making me a more informed human

An Open Door // Suguinn
Who: Quinn Fabray and Sugar Motta
When: Sunday January 8th
Where: The bathroom at Puck’s party
What: The girls have a heart to heart in the bathroom.
Warnings: Very faint mentions of ED and Anorexia and body/eating issues.
Sugar hated everything about herself, but here she was at this stupid party, wearing a skin tight dress and downing shots in an effort to feel normal, or at least not feel anything at all. However, a side effect of the shots and skintight dress was the fact that she needed to pee. Now. She made her way quickly to the nearest bathroom and burst through the door.
Quinn was feeling good. She had just enough tequila to make everything a little hazy but to keep her smiling all throughout the party. She saw someone dart through the living room out of the corner of her eye and decided to investigate while Puck was playing bartender once again. Seeing Sugar dart into the bathroom, Quinn followed. She listened but didn't hear any throwing up. She wanted to walk away but her judgement got the better of her and she knocked on the door a couple times. "Are you okay in there?" Quinn asked. She was mostly concerned at the speed that Sugar made her way into the bathroom. What if something was wrong?
Sugar sighed in relief as she finally peed and finished up as quickly as she could considering she was feeling more than a little wobbly. As she was washing her hands, she heard a rap at the door and Quinn's voice. Her brain wanted her to scream "go away" but her heart was still holding on to the moment they had shared earlier. She opened the door and gave the blonde a watery smile. "Hiiiii" She knew there was no use trying to play it cool when she was this drunk.
Quinn waited for a response from her cousin but before she knew it the door was flying open and Sugar was squealing a "hi" with an elongated vowel at her. The blonde couldn't help but laugh a little bit. It had been over a year since she had seen Sugar in this kind of state. "Hi." Quinn returned, smiling wide at Sugar. "Are you all right? You pulled a Speedy Gonzales across the living room just a couple minutes ago. I wanted to make sure you weren't sick..." Quinn was genuinely concerned for the girl and wanted to make sure everyone was having fun and felt good. She hated when party goers didn't know their limits and went too far, mostly because they wouldn't remember the fun they had, just the fun they threw up.
Sugar shook her head. "Nope. Just really had to pee that's all. Come here!" She pulled Quinn into the bathroom and closed the door. "It's nice in here, isn't it?" She sat on the edge of the tub. "Peaceful."
Quinn Soon enough, Quinn was being pulled into the bathroom with Sugar and the door was closing behind them. Quinn supposed she could use a moment away from the bass and the booze. She grabbed two Dixie cups and filled them with cold water. As Sugar sat on the edge of the tub, Quinn handed one to her and then hoisted herself up onto the vanity. "Yeah, the bass is kind of tiring." Quinn agreed. She wondered what Sugar was really up to. Quinn almost wanted to check out the linen closet to see what demons Sugar might have hidden in there to scare the blonde. "Are you having fun though?" she asked.
Sugar wrinkled her nose at the tap water, but took the cup anyway. "Not really." She answered before she could think better of it. As soon as the words left her mouth she wanted to kick herself. Quinn wasn't in the mood for a stupid heart to heart, she was busy playing house with Puckerman, who was busy playing games with one or both of them. She suddenly had the urge to get far away from Quinn, and her perfect body.
Quinn was a little disappointed by Sugar not having any fun. "Why is that?" she asked before she could stop herself. She would never not care about Sugar. It just wasn't going to happen. Lately, it seemed like them being friends again was impossible, but if Sugar ever called Quinn crying in the middle of the night, she would come running. "And is there any way we can fix that? You know I just want everyone to have a good time." Quinn told Sugar, punctuating the end of her statement with a hiccup. "Oh great." she groaned, filling her cup with more water.
Sugar "Hold your nose and.... drink the water in two gulps." Sugar said, happy to have a distraction from herself, though she knew it wouldn't last for long. "Please don't take this like... I don't want to have a fight, okay? But just, frankly you and Puckerman making googly eyes at each other all night is more than a little nauseating." Everyone was paired up but her, but she refrained from saying that out loud. "I was only gonna stay an hour, so... I should probably head out soon anyways."
Quinn Doing what Sugar said, Quinn gulped the water down and they waited with bated breath for a few moments, hoping there wouldn't be another hiccup. Quinn hated hiccups. Thankfully, it seemed to work! With Sugar's comment about her and Puck, Quinn sank into herself. "Why are you so against whatever my relationship is with Puck? I really like him Sugar. And he really likes me." Quinn was so tired of fighting with Sugar, but she needed to genuinely ask the question. Biting down on her lip, Quinn raised an eyebrow at Sugar. "Are you sure? You don't want to crash on the couch?" Quinn asked, hoping Sugar would just agree because even taking an uber home, the girl was in no state to be crawling into her house and dealing with her parents right now.
Sugar rolled her eyes, but bit her tongue on the subject. "Why do you care what I think? You obviously don't care what anyone thinks about you being with him." Her voice had slightly more bite than she'd intended and she reeled it in. "I don't think he cares about you... and I don't think.... I think you're throwing a lot away for nothing. And everyone is ready to defend you, but... you can't take your first time back, Quinn. I think you'll regret it if you throw it away after everything you've always preached."
Quinn "I might not follow the path you think I should follow, but I still value your opinion, Sugar." Quinn confided in the girl. What else could she say? Sugar was important to her and she wanted Sugar and Puck to at least support her relationship with the other. "Why don't you think he cares about me? I'm really honestly asking you this because like, it doesn't feel like he doesn't care about me Sugar. I know it isn't the conventional relationship, but you don't see what goes on when we are alone." Quinn was really trying to stay away from the topic of her virginity. That was a delicate topic that her and Sugar shouldn't talk about right now.
Sugar: couldn't help the sneer that curled her lip at the idea of them behind closed doors. "I.... we shouldn't get into this. You're your own person and you can do whatever you want with your body. Lord knows I do." She half mumbled the last part to herself. "Nothing I say is going to change your mind, so... why should you even bother having to hear my opinion."
Quinn "Why is this about my virginity and not about my happiness? Or not about my feelings though?" Quinn had been dying to ask these questions, and while they were being civil, she figured they would get them in. "If I didn't want to bother hearing your opinions, I wouldn't ask for them. You of all people know that, Sug." Quinn stated firmly. Sliding off the vanity, Quinn moved to sit next to Sugar on the edge o the tub, which was not an easy feat in her skin tight leather mini skirt. Once she sat down, she played with her fingers to avoid trying to hold Sugar's hand. "Any way, forget this topic. How happy are you that we won today?"
Sugar If Quinn only knew how much it was about her happiness, but there wasn't any way to express that without potentially starting another fight, or if there was Sugar couldn't think of one in her drunken state. "Super happy." Her voice betrayed her. "I knew we'd win, though. How could we not?" She tried a smile. Even though I'm surprised the bases could hoist my fat ass into the air at all, she thought bitterly.
Quinn didn't believe Sugar for a second. She knew better than to do so when she got that tone of voice. "Of course, the best cheerleaders in the state are on our team. I was just worried the Cheerios might place by default since they were last years winners." Quinn expressed her earlier concern. "Um Sugar?" Quinn voiced hesitantly. "Are you okay? You don't seem as happy as I expected you to be after winning. And when your smile is plastered on like that, I know it is a show smile and not a real smile... So is everything okay?" Quinn asked, concern furrowing through her brow as she looked over at her cousin and pursed her lips, waiting for a storm to over take her with Sugar's answer.
Sugar felt her lip quiver and the tear roll down her cheek before she could stop herself, and it all came rolling out. "How could I be okay?! Everyone is pairing off, including Kitty with my I guess ex, I don't even know what you'd call him, while I remain completely alone and unlovable, I'm losing my best friends, and just when you and I are maybe starting to fix things you start seeing some guy who seeing you with makes me physically sick. I have a potential crush on a girl who barely likes me as a person much less romantically, and I don't even know what potentially having a potential crush on a girl even means. AND.." She heaved a breath, having said it all in one exhale. "And.... I'm fat." The last two words squeaked out and she just sat there, shaking and waiting for Quinn to do the polite thing and tell her she wasn't fat, just like everyone else.
Quinn It all spilled out so fast it was like rushing water down a water slide. It was hard to follow. Kitty with... Sam? Quinn just shook her head because that was not the most important thing that was said in this outburst. Before she even said a word, Quinn just pulled Sugar's body against her own, hugging her cousin tightly. She knew from past outbursts and just science in general that confining the body in outbursts like this actually helped to calm the person down. "Even if you were 600 ibs, you'd be beautiful. I'm not sure why you think you are fat, but if you feel that way, I can offer working out with you?" Quinn asked, hoping that would at least help whatever was going on in Sugar's mind. "As for the girl, who is the girl and we are in high school. Things are supposed to be confusing." she reassure Sugar, or at least tried to any way.
Sugar It felt good to be hugged, even though she didn't really want to be touched at the moment, there was something soothing about it, so she didn't fight against it. "I already work out.... but, another workout buddy couldn't hurt, I guess." She swallowed hard and tried to take a deep breath. "The only other person who knows who the girl is is Kitty so if I tell you and it gets out, I'll know who said something." She may be drunk, but she wasn't drunk enough that she was willing to have this embarrassing secret be public knowledge.
Quinn "You can come do yoga at the gym I work at." the blonde offered. Sighing, Quinn crossed her heart, held up three fingers and said, "I Quinn Fabray solemnly swear I will not let out this very important secret." She reached for Sugar's hand and grabbed the girl's pinky finger with her own. It was the way they had made pacts with each other when they were little. She was hoping that since their moment earlier this morning, this might ease Sugar's mind.
Sugar closed her eyes, her voice just barely loud enough for Quinn to hear her. "It's Santana." She hoped her cousin wouldn't make a big deal of it. Biting down on her lower lip, she opened her eyes waiting to gauge Quinn's reaction.
Quinn was of course surprised when Sugar mentioned Santana of all people to be crushing on, but Quinn wasn't one to judge when it came to love. "So when you guys baked cookies the other day, was that like, a date? Are you already at that level?" She asked, just trying to gauge the seriousness of the relationship. "I've never seen you keep a secret that long..." Quinn mused under her breath. "Or well, you said only Kity knows, so it couldn't have been a date, right?" she asked, looking at Sugar. "What made you develop a crush on Santana? I thought you were going to tell me Brittany opened your eyes to the world of girls or something."
Sugar snorted. "Not even remotely close. She tolerates me, we're no where near dating or anything of the sort." She crossed her legs and took a sip of the tepid tap water, making a face at the taste. "I dunno, I like the way she looks. And she's kinda funny. And that's it, and I don't wanna talk about it anymore." She could feel her cheeks flushing and she desperately wanted a subject change.
Quinn just nodded at Sugar's response. The plea to change the subject came quickly and Quinn knew that eventually, this conversation was going to come back up but now wasn't the time. Nudging Sugar with her elbow, Quinn smiled at her cousin, her former best friend, and said, "Have you been practicing our moves to the Spice Girls all this time? Or did you really just remember them like it was yesterday?" Quinn was still kind of impressed that Sugar participated in Quinn's silly ritual this morning. "That was fun. It felt good to dance with you again."
Sugar "I just remembered them, I guess. I honestly haven't even thought of that song in...." her voice trailed off, she hadn't thought of that song since the last time they had been on the same team, back when she and Quinn had been close. But maybe that was rude to bring up right now. "Just...." She closed her eyes again. "Just be careful with Puck. Don't give too much of your heart away. There's no such thing as changing a guy."
Quinn nodded her head as Sugar spoke. Quinn just remembered them too, so she couldn't even be surprised that Sugar just pulled that muscle memory up and knew the dance moves. The mood got somber for a moment before Sugar spoke again. Quinn just sighed. "I'm not trying to change him, Sugar. But I promise, I'm being as careful as I can be. There's a deadline on this thing. By the end of January if he's not my boyfriend then we are done." she confided in Sugar, nudging her with her shoulder. "Come on, you want to go dance or something? Burn off those calories from the bagels this morning?" Quinn joked lightly. Something about Sugar's weight was troubling her, but Quinn couldn't find out about it while Sugar was in this state. She didn't want it to prove catastrophic.
Sugar hadn't had any bagels, but she supposed that didn't really matter much. There were always calories to be burned. "I guess I can dance for one song." She didn't want to talk or think about Puck or any of it anymore. She'd dance for a song and then go home and get into bed and forget the world. It would be easy, she was getting so used to it.
Quinn "Good." Quinn said, standing up and adjusting her very tight skirt so that she wasn't giving the entire basketball team a show out on the dance floor. "Will you let me call you an uber too?" she asked, looking at Sugar's glazed over eyes. Grabbing her cousin by the hand, Quinn went and opened the door. Some meathead made a comment about what the two of them were doing in the bathroom and Quinn pinched the underside of his bicep so hard she made him bleed. "Don't look at me like that, Sugar. Lima Heights changes a girl." Quinn noted, shaking her blonde curls and the thought out of her head with the same shake. She lead Sugar into the living room where everyone was dancing.

Ranking all Joe Hart songs:
13-I Only Have Eyes for You by The Flamingos
Forgot to add this oopsie. Joe only does backup vocals with Artie and Unique so yeah
12-In My Life by The Beatles
Okay so unlike Rory, Joe (along Artie and Blaine) have no lines and just do backing vocals so it’s hard to hear them so… last place yeah
11-Footloose by Kenny Loggins
He sings more in the studio version but only a little bit on the episode version, plus the camera never focuses on him singing so most people (me included) thought it was Sam singing💔
10-Night Fever by Bee Gees
At this point all of his songs are good to me so already hard to chose which is in front of which. For the longest time I thought Joe was singing the high parts but no, turns out that was all Will, he still sounds good
9-Cherish/Cherish by Madonna/The Association
Jam duet kinda❤️🩹 no but his voice sounds so good with Sam’s and at the same time there’s Quinn and Mercedes singing together and we also have Rory and Sugar dancing and background brittana being cute, I love this gcv
8-Santa Claus is Coming to Town by Harry Reser and His Band feat. Tom Stacks (Bruce Springsteen cover)
Wow that’s a big ass name. Now for the song, he doesn’t appear in the episode since it was before his introduction, but they still used his voice in some parts lol it’s hard to hear since Puck’s voice it’s louder but yeah, it’s his voice in the episode, not Finn’s
7-What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction
Once again the camera work does no good for our friend Joe, cause on his first line the camera already cuts to Brittany insulting Blaine’s hair and then on the next time he sings the camera focus on everyone but him, when he is the one singing the second chorus after Artie, I’m okay. I’m okay
6-Hall of Fame by The Script feat. Will.I.Am
He sounds SO GOOD HERE. This is the first time he ever sings in a competition so it’s special to me. It is also the last time he ever sings on the show so it’s double special💔
5-No Scrubs by TLC
Okay so he doesn’t sing a lot here but this song is overall one of my favorite songs ever on the show so who cares. Also he looks hot here so bonus point
4-3 by Britney Spears
“Living in sin is the new thing” this line alone could’ve started an entire arc about Joe’s faith and religion but glee writers don’t like thinking out of the box so yeah, shame. The three of them have crazy harmonies too and I love it, this song is severely underrated
3-Some Nights by Fun.
OH MY GOOOOOD I love this song so much, not only does Joe sounds so good but so does everyone else also Joe is the only one with a spoken line so that makes him the protagonist here fr fr☝️
2-Saving All My Love for You by Whitney Houston
Closest he had of a solo. I can not put into words how much I mourn his relationship with Quinn, this song is beautiful, I listen to the original all the time and Samuel sounds so good singing it, his voice managed to match Dianna’s and I’m glad for that. If one day they ever meet again and idk sing anything I would love for it to be this song
1-Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heroes feat. Adam Levine
His first song ever on the show and it’s still the best, he sounds phenomenal, yes Sam raps, Mercedes sings a little and Quinn does backing vocals but Joe completely steals the scene (and song) for me. This is one of those songs better than the original and I’m not afraid to say it out loud
Samuel’s last chance performances on the glee project in 5 words or less:
Animal by Neon Trees: wild, energetic, fun, sexy
My Funny Valentine from Babes in Arms: deserved to be recorded for real
Jolene by Dolly Parton: a different interpretation, he sounds amazing
