LMD 2022 - TÍO PETER TÍO PETER - RETRO "ROLLETE" HARD HOUSE & BUMPING DAVID ARACIL - TECHNO INDUSTRIAL Este proyecto arropado bajo la bandera del colectivo OSCILA, que lleva por título "LO MEJOR DE", donde cada uno de los integrantes del equipo ha condensado en 30 minutos, una sesión de cada uno de los estilos que conforman la filosofía musical de la comunidad. Una selección realizada con los sonidos que personalmente creen que han sido referentes o destacables en cada uno de los estilos que defienden como los mejores del año 2022, cada uno de los deejays que conforman el equipo del colectivo: Aldo Kyoto, DJ Pérez, Tío Peter, Manolo González, David Aracil y EMILIOPENYA. En futuras ediciones, se fueron añadiendo, nuevos componentes y estilos hasta llegar a la edición del año 2000. Tras esta edición hubo un parón de 13 años, pero se recuperó con el mismo espíritu de antaño, congregando a DJs que presentaban, desde su humilde punto de vista, una selección de las mejores producciones del año. I was 15 and could only get into 1 nightclub. That was the Aquarium. Thursday nights were special and the main room hosted the citys top DJs like Lee Butler, Mark Simon & Pez Tellet playing all the massive Scouse tunes. These were the DJ's everyone idolized and young DJs wanted to become. When these left the Thursday nights there was a void in the main room which needed to be filled.... Step in Ian Redman! A smoking, skinhead who worked in Plastic Records and played Disco / Funky house as a warm up before the main room (Upstairs) opened at 11pm. When i seen him lugging his bag & box of records upstairs at 10:50pm i wondered how his take on the usual Thursday nights would unfold. I didn't know he played anything other than what he played as a warm up in the downstairs room. I wasent let down. I cant really remember a lot of the tunes he played (due to being high as a kite) but he covered the whole spectrum of Scousehouse in a 3/4 hour set. I highly rated his tune selection, mixing and his stubbornness to not reveal the name of a tune. For me he was the best at the time, even though he didn't have a radio show or play at the most obvious club in the city, his selection of music hit home to me far more than any other DJs selection. I later became good friends with him (and finally found out some of the names of the tunes he played haha.) I recently found an old CD of his when moving house.
