 The blond Earl would not have imagined Lelouch would intrude his conversation with another noble to comment such a trivial thing. I did not invite you to this festivity. ❞ If Claude was one to blame then he would be certain to give him a proper punishment.

Being  affectionate  wasn’t  a  known  sentiment:  outside  his  sister  in  which  his  softness  was  total,  outside  sometimes  tender  communication  with  a  beloved  witch,  such  feelings  were  crushed  and  denied  into  his  soul.  Most  of  his  relationship  with  his  best  friend,  his  knight  who  will  eventually  found  another  reason  to  exposing  angry  disagreements  with  his  decisions  one  more  time  (  wasn’t  he  in  middle  of  another  manipulative  game,  after  all  ?  wasn’t  he  trying  to  enjoying  opportunity  for  showing  his  pride  in  front  of  a  threatening  shadow  from  higher  spheres  ?  )  succeeded  because  he  played  well  his  role  of  having  nothing  to  do  with  his  symbol  ---  based  on  appearances,  based  on  omitting  affairs,  based  on  lies,  based  on  mistakes,  based  on  perspective.  Softness  was  now  a  difficult  sentiment  when  it  concerned  people  he  barely  care  on  the  outside  (  then  later  realizing  pay  attention  to  their  needs  inside  )  ---  undesiring  actually  act  on  it.

He  appreciated  twice  exposure  of  denied  parenthood:  one  in  which  brightness  protegee  welcomed  another  atmosphere  and  another  neat  relationship;  another  associated  to  mutual  coldness  when  amusement  reflected  about  position  of  a  king  who  barely  get  the  level  to  reach  of  a  real  one.  Alois  Trancy,  somehow,  was  different:  signals  about  understanding  on  a  terrible  hidden  pain  (  besides  to  hear  only  bad  things  on  previous  Earl  Trancy  ;  as  a  reminder  how  much  he  disliked  aristocrats  )  in  which  mutual  experience  generated  this  need  to  showing  him  another  way  ….unless  it  was  nothing  more  development  of  attachment  he  had,  having  nothing  to  care  about  what  people  say.  How  long  will  be  pretending  to  be  alright  with  how  noblesse  works,  knowing  how  much  he  abhor  them  ?  How  long  he  will  remain  a  protector  in  the  background  on  this  troublesome  blonde  ?

Watching  circumstances  pass  with  indifference  turned  out  a  habit.  Regardless  if  the  other  Earl  wasn’t  agree  if  a  literal  Emperor  was  looking  his  back  from  afar  —  otherwise  his  pride  title,  he  knew  what  to  expect  from  most  of  nobles  coming  for  him,  what  kind  of  proposition  he  should  accept  or  not…he  could  even  helping  out  about  darkness  in  this  realm.  So  far,  he  remained  within  his  title  without  exposing  further  a  demonic  reputation  associated  to  his  name  nor  his  cruelty’s  potential.  Barely  an  exasperation  sigh  leaving  out  lips  to  be  bring  into  another  veranda.    ❝  It  nothing  surprising  with  a  title  such  mine  :  all  doors  are  open,  all  I  have  to  do  is  knock.    ❞  He  answering  with  a  complete  emotional  detachment,  purple  eyes  showing  no  particular  emotion.    ❝    I  do  what  I  want  where  I  want.    ❞    His  title  was  perfect  so  far  for  that  —  even  if  the  Geass  would  anytime  given  same  result.    ❝  Besides,  someone  such  as  me  had  to  seeing  how  aristocracy  is  doing.    ❞  Coldness  reflected  into  this  last  sentence  as  it  was  obvious    ❝  Regardless  that  your  features  are  pale  —  it’s  my  duty  to  make  sure  that  you  remain  presentable  without  forcing  too  much  this  body  that  you  have.  Whether  you  like  it  or  not.  I  feel  you  are  going  to  blame  me.    ❞

notes for my omori au (the au has art for it, check out my purPUSHful au tag)

ok so! parents r horrible they r the root of everything. they are absolutely dogshit to sunny, they constantly compare him to mari and also abuse him in all the ways, which isn't apparent to mari because it doesnt happen around her. sunny sees mari as the cause of all his pain with his parents, and thinks that mari knows about what is happening and just doesnt care, and likes to mock him. when sunny pushes mari down the stairs, he means to. basil enters. sunny is high on adrenaline and relief, and rambles to basil about how free he will be now (spoiler alert he does not stop being abused. mari is in fact not the cause of his problems) basil is freaked out. hero comes in, calls the ambulance. mari is in a coma. everyone thinks mari just fell. no one except basil knows sunny pushed her. basil is stressed abt what the fuck sunny is on (no one knows that sunny is being abused by his parents, everyone knows they arent the greatest parents but they think that's as far as it gets) sunny is being haunted by maris consiousness. mari is finding out all the shit that's been happening.

mari is like what the heck i didnt know this shit was happening, and heartbroken that sunny hates her, and so confused and lost because she now knows that her and sunnys relationship was one sided. mari tries to communicate this to sunny but he goes into denial because then he killed his sister that loves him and it “invalidates” (not rlly tho) all his feelings surrounding mari for their whole lives.

sunny shuts himself off from the group because he believes they all dont care about him.

mari eventually wakes up and adopts sunny and they estrange from they parents (the dad did still leave tho so more estrangeing the mom)
