General Job Duties: Work with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to perform and document sample inspection on production lots Perform final audit verification checks to assure all characteristics meet specifications per the applicable drawing and history card. Follow history cards to meet required inspection. Perform and document daily surveillance of hand held gages used for final audits. Follow written procedures for processing Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR) and Authorized Scrap Tickets. Adhere to company Quality Policy and follow appropriate procedures as documented in the training agreement. Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools High School education or equivalent experience plus additional specialized training. Work from verbal and written instruction, history cards, control plans, Engineering drawings, quality, procedural and SPC manuals, and measuring procedures.
