Hear me out, Chilchuck - the leader of the half foot union - is apart of a campaign where they go to various parts of the island to help establish more unions to protect half foots. In the north, he runs into a husband and wife, and the wife (Laios) immediately has his heart. In an instant. Chilchuck remains ever the professional but he has no doubt in his mind that he's attracted to and wants to know this woman more.

And she is happy to make a friend, as she's somewhat isolated due to being a depressed housewife, and has no one to talk to about her her interests. She reads frequently about dungeon exploration and tries to study monsters from the limited material she has. Chilchuck, who has been doing dungeon work for some time, is happy to tell her about it.

I will clarify Laios is a trans man. He doesn't really consider it due to his circumstances, but he fantasizes about being the one doing adventuring, not being stuck in this town with her husband.

I’ve always felt uncomfortable talking to anyone about my problems, so telling them to a stranger really didn’t help. It was just a list of questions and a bunch of filling out packets. I 110% support therapy! Go to it if you feel you need it! Don’t let my own feelings keep you from getting treatment. It helps most people. 💞
