Peace and Love, Black Family! As a current mental health professional, I never would deny that Black people have mental health issues. We all have family and friends suffering from Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Major Depressive disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, Antisocial Personality disorder, PTSD, and Intellectual disabilities. If the disorder exists, we have them! However, I’m going to boldly assert that we DO NOT have mental health issues just because. Black people HAVE White people issues, and from those White people issues we now have mental health issues. Yes, we NOW have mental health issues! They have mixed their blood with ours. They have fed us their poisonous foods. They have inoculated our babies. They have psychologically traumatized our ancestors from their arrival in the Western Hemisphere. We have had to adapt to a race of psychopaths & sociopaths! Rather than address the real problem in the room, we’ve thrown temporal solutions at the field of mental health! And as usual, they have the solutions to the problems they’ve caused! If you think you need therapy, consider reading a book by Dr. Amos Wilson, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, and or Dr. Naim Akbar! Peace and Love, Black Family! Racism has multiple facets, and you better believe that Black people in the Divided States of AmeriKKKa are just as susceptible to all forms of racism in 2023 as we were in 1823. While all manifestations of racism are hazardous to our longevity, disabling our longterm ability to thrive as a race, I believe that INTERNAL RACISM is the worst manifestation of racism. Why? Because Black people have continued the internalization of the racist stereotypes, values, images and ideologies continually perpetuated by the White dominant society about our own racial group. Black people who live in White countries, as well as those who live in predominantly Black countries struggle with internalized racial inferiority. The internalization and display of a demeaning self-concept we have now is based on our racial classification throughout history, which speaks for itself. It's a multigenerational cycle of disempowerment and disenfranchisement that shows itself as destructive habits. Colorism, isolation, protectionism, addiction, self-doubt, self-hatred, anger, shame, ethnocentrism, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, and so on are just a few examples of how we have been programmed to further our perpetual lynching — interpersonally, institutionally, and structurally. Our biggest issue in the war on racism is our own internal racism we hold within ourselves. Our own self-hatred is what the White power structure has counted on when the police isn’t killing the next Black person in broad day! You better…GET ON CODE. Peace and Love, Black Family! There are many benefits of being married—PERIOD! Legally, when it comes to taxes and or other social perks it has its cons. Nonetheless, millions of Black couples live their lives unmarried and refer to each other as bf & gf. As with all things, there’s a reason why Black people in relationships grow bitter over time. From failed marriages leading to divorce, single parent households, broken hearts and distorted views of what commitment means. Black couples after a certain age or even certain experiences, such as those aforementioned, create distortions of what relationships should or shouldn’t be! Ultimately, some choose to play it safe being in a relationship without marriage. Being bf & gf is more than enough for some to keep the connection of commitment without the responsibility or accountability that comes with marriage. But, it is TRAUMA that hangs over our heads keeping Black couples from making such commitments. Many have come to Florida from all races and backgrounds to make this State what it is. However, Governor Ron DeSantis is seeking to turn Florida into a slave State right before our eyes. By attempting to ban conscious thought and conscientious objection across the board. After the well-organized Black Lives Matter hype died down and numerous Statewide protests of police brutality, inequality, and racism were disbanded, it became his mission to set up reinforcements to prevent any form of “wokeness” from being taught in schools/universities or shared publicly in the workplace. What he is saying is that he wants to silence Black consciousness by cutting off the spread of such information by manipulation of the law. As governor, he is aggressively seeking to make Florida an anti-CRT State on all levels of education and society. Though his “Stop Woke Act” was banned, he will not stop! What is his problem with teaching TRUTH? Critical Race Theory speaks to the very core of who, what, where, when, how, and why the United States of AmeriKKKa is unequal in its treatment of African descendants from its establishment to the present day! Peace and Love, Black Family! I don’t make posts because I want attention or have nothing better to do with my time. Trust me, I really could be posting my workouts, the food I eat and new products I use. I’ve dedicated myself and mybtime to psychologically reprogramming our people through images. Hopefully, these images imprint on enough minds to spark the “Neo” inside us all! I’m actually overly concerned with the mental resurrection of Black people in the United States and abroad!
