The option for now:
Autumn ; Mentioned before
Sabrina ; Aaa witch name?
Sorrella ; Reddish brown hair, delicate (both qualities of sally tbh)
Nadine ; Means hope, ig makes sense-
Simone ; "the one who hears" as an outcast, kinda matches
Monika ; "advisor" or "counselor" Sally tries to help the MC during the whole movie so he won't get in trouble
need help-
Out of all of these, Autumn, Nadine and Monika are my favorites!! Also I think they sound lovely with Ragdale!

Considerations of what Creative Leadership can be.
In this week's readings I found many inspiring and surprising concepts that I hadn’t considered before. For example, shifting the idea of leadership off of an individual. Sometimes I’m surprised by how deep I actually am in Western ideas and I’m happy to be reminded that there's an opportunity for me to challenge that part of myself. Creating a different definition of what leadership is, how it can look and who can hold it, is a beautiful thing to consider. This shift is just what our world could benefit from. Global leadership and collective leadership has an element of empathy and caring, that holds space and value for the experiences of others and what collective experiences can bring to the table. On the opposite end, the idea of heroic leadership is rooted in ego that can flourish under this sort of individualism and hierarchy. There’s also a dangerous opportunity here to attract a certain type of leader who craves being put up on a pedestal to feed that ego. Shifting this definition or a standard for what leadership should be will be an exciting thing to explore. These concepts remind me of the phrase, “Pulling up the ladder behind you”. This phrase pertains usually to a certain individual and whether or not they invite others into their ‘success’ or not. I’m contemplating now how many of the leaders in this world are the kind of leaders that have ‘left the ladder behind them’. What does opening that space for others to join look like?In other thoughts, I enjoyed Ragdale’s concepts on emergent strategy and how essentially being lost in the process can take you places unimaginable. I can understand why this could be a difficult strategy for more people. It takes a huge amount of courage and bravery to wander through a process and potentially ‘fail’ along the way. I think this strategy is a wonderful way to practice failing in a way that’s positive. In a very western mindset, I have a feeling that many wouldn’t give the time and space to wander aimlessly without intention. Or at the least that enacting this strategy would create discomfort for many. But here, I think, lies the magic! A bit of discomfort, courage, and the willingness to fail can take a leader a long way.

POLYMORPHIC POLKA
Sculptures by Leslie Fry
May 17 – June 9, 2024
Opening Reception: Friday, May 17, 6:00-8:00PM
325 Project Space, 325 St Nicholas Ave Ridgewood, Queens, NY
Gallery Hours: Sat/Sun 12-5pm and by appt.
325 Project Space is pleased to present: Polymorphic Polka, an exhibition of sculpture by Leslie Fry. In addition to works in the main gallery, the exhibition will include a series of bronze works exhibited in our outdoor space. Works in the exhibition consist of cast hybrid forms as well as sculpted elements in ceramic, wood and resin.
Articulating connections between the natural and constructed world, Fry’s sculptures respond to architecture, history, the human form, and the flotsam of everyday life. Fry’s figures are typically female or hermaphrodite, of imaginary descent, and melded with elements to portray strength, shelter, and metamorphosis. The exhibition will also feature a series of stacked forms evoking connection, precariousness and the uncertainty of our present time. Fry’s masterful use of imagery and the sheer physicality of her materials provide a sensual and surreal experience.
325 Project Space is an unpredictably periodic exhibition and event space organized by Jeff Feld, @feldjeff, [email protected] and located at 325 St Nicholas Ave in Ridgewood Queens. The project space is one block from the Myrtle/Wycoff stop on the L or M subway lines, approximately 25 minutes from Union Square.  Gallery hours are Sat/Sun 12-5pm and by appt.
Leslie Fry's sculptures, drawings, and prints have been exhibited internationally in museums and galleries such as Kunsthaus in Hamburg, Zwitscher Machine Gallery in Berlin, Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul, Windspiel Galerie in Vienna, Couvent des Cordeliers in Paris, deCordova Sculpture Park near Boston, Centre des Arts Visuels in Montreal, and Artists Space, Garvey Simon, and Wave Hill in New York.
Public sculptures have been commissioned in New York, South Korea, Montreal, Florida, Wisconsin, and Vermont. Public collections include Tufts University, Songchu International Sculpture Park, Freehand New York, Kohler Arts Center, Tampa Museum of Art, Fleming Museum of Art, Musée d’art de Joliette, and St. Petersburg, Florida’s Museum of Fine Arts.
Awards and fellowships include the Vermont 2023 Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, U.S. Embassy Vienna, Chateau d’Orquevaux, Yaddo, Monson Arts, Vermont Arts Council, Kohler Arts/Industry Program, Fundacion Valparaiso, Blue Mountain Center, I-Park, Marble House Project, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Anderson Ranch, Ragdale Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, and Millay Arts.
Fry’s B.A. is from the University of Vermont, her M.F.A. is from Bard College, and she attended the Central School of Art in London. Born in Montreal, she lives in Winooski, Vermont.
