"If the world has fallen, is pushing forward still worth the pain?"

"If it isn't, then we don't seem to have gotten the memo."
According to the poll results, you guys all wanted to hear about the Moongazers first, so here ya go!! INFORMATION: The Moongazers are one of the eight divisions of the Mechanists faction, denoted by the emblem of the moon held within a gear. They specialize in innovation and design, spearheading much of the Mechanist faction's development both technological and societal. The Moongazers were the first division to form within the Mechanists, being quickly followed by the other seven as the faction rapidly expanded from a small band of survivors into the massive community and organization it is today. The majority of the Implants utilized by the members of the Moongazer division are sensory- or utility-based in nature, although some may also have more combat-focused capabilities as well. LEADERSHIP: While individual projects are managed by whichever Toon or Toons came up with the idea, the division as a whole, as with the other seven, is led by its representative member of the Council of the Engine, an Astro named Zenith. Unlike other Astros, Zenith is completely incapable of actively utilizing the magic that comes so naturally to others of his kind, making him something of an outcast in his youth. However, one day, he would meet a Toon who was, in many ways, his complete opposite- a Toon blessed (or, depending on who you ask, cursed), with a nearly-infinite source of magic. This Toon, of course, was the young boy who would one day become the Engineer, founder and leader of the Mechanists, and this fateful meeting set Zenith on the path to greatness...although, of course, he certainly wouldn't describe himself that way.

"Reject the flesh, be forged anew."

"By his will, we shall rise beyond our limits."
INFORMATION: The Perfectionists are one of the eight divisions of the Mechanists faction, denoted by the emblem of a gear upon the back of a hand. They specialize in the design and production of Implants, the Mechanists' equivalent to Gardenview's Augments or Ruin Corp's Cores. Despite the name, not all Implants are installed inside of a Toon's body- plenty of them are prosthetics, used to replace and upgrade a part of the user's body. The Implants used by the Perfectionists range from combat-based to utility-focused, although the majority of the division, like the Moongazers, primarily use sensory-based Implants, as this division's members do not often engage in direct combat. LEADERSHIP: As with all other divisions of the Mechanists, the Perfectionists are led by their representative member of the Council of the Engine, a Vee known only as Terminal. Terminal's story begins mere weeks before the world-changing event that would come to be known as the Fall. She had been diagnosed with a fatal illness, the specifics of which have been long since wiped from her memory banks alongside her original name. A nearby hospital had the capacity to treat her, to give her the chance at a normal life, and so she was taken there. However, before her treatment could begin, well...we all know what happened, don't we? The Vee was left to rot in the now-abandoned hospital, her body and mind slowly deteriorating as she waited for death to come...but it didn't. Instead, she was saved. The Engineer repaired her, replacing her damaged parts and rewriting her very code in an attempt to save her- one that would ultimately be successful. The Vee, now bearing the name 'Terminal' as a reminder of her triumph, now serves as an integral member of the Council of the Engine. While her methods and beliefs may be...disagreeable, to some, her value to the Mechanists cannot be denied.

heh...go my forsaken sona...
Meet Guest [ERROR]! They're a Guest who managed to escape the banwave via exploits, losing their identity in the process! If they were in the game, their moveset would be as follows:
PASSIVE - PLAYER_NOT_FOUND: This Killer has a significantly decreased terror radius, and their aura cannot be revealed to Survivors. PASSIVE - On The Run: This Killer gets Speed II for five seconds after being Stunned. ACTIVE - ;fly: This Killer takes to the skies for 10 seconds. During this time, they cannot be Stunned, and are unaffected by traps and hazards. ACTIVE - ;jail: This Killer types on their command panel for 4 seconds, inflicting the Jailed status effect on a Survivor within their line of sight for 10 seconds. While Jailed, the Survivor cannot move, and takes 3 damage per second for a total of 30 damage. If a Jailed Survivor is damaged, they are freed from the effect. ACTIVE - ;inv: This Killer becomes invisible and gains Speed II for 20 seconds or until they either deal damage to a Survivor or use another ability. ACTIVE - ;ff: This Killer summons a forcefield around themselves for 10 seconds. While the forcefield is active, they cannot be Stunned, and deal double damage to Survivors.
Their playstyle would revolve around running Survivors down and mauling them. They don't have many offensive abilities, but they're fast. as. fuck. The main way to deal with them is via avoidance and stealth, as they don't have any ways of finding Survivors aside from their flight ability. (Their reduced terror radius also contributes to this, as they can't use it to tell when Survivors are around).

So are there any sentient Robots in the Mechanists.
You already know the answer to that :) Anyways- as I said in a previous ask, I'm not going to be revealing anything about that topic here on Tumblr until a dedicated post on the Automata division of the Mechanists is made. Hopefully, I'll be able to scrape together the motivation for said post soon.

Sorry if this question sounds dumb, but what would the mechanists view on AI be? I'm not even sure if AI is possible in this AU yet, but I am certain that we can find a way to utilize the Silica Animus in the name of the Omnissiah. Or just go the Iron-kin route like the Votann did!
I can't reveal the answer to this here on Tumblr yet, but...well, check the thread in the discord server :) That should answer your question.
