i have a bahubali question that's been driving me crazy and because i watched the movies because of you and you're the only one that seems to be blogging about it in 2022, i'm going to ask you! after Shivagami died, Devasena was the new Queen mother, so why did Katappa let Balla imprison her?

Kattappa's loyalty is to the Throne i.e. the King, the Queen Mother, and the Royal Family. There was approximately 15 minutes between when Sivagami proclaimed Mahendra Baahubali King, and when the whole world thought he was dead. Those 15 minutes were exactly how long Devasena was the Queen Mother and that was when Kattappa served her, by protecting her as Queen Mother, Mahendra - the King, and Sivagami the Queen Mother Emeritus so to speak. After that, he believed Mahendra was dead, and his duty reverted to the former King Bhalla.
