Part of her research requires understanding why cursed spirits spawn abroad at lower rates than Japan. So when she gets a call asking her to check something out for Jujutsu High, very often, Yuki does. She just tells them that she's refusing the mission, but finds the intel helpful.

Most of the time, she can beat whatever sorcerer they send over, make her notes, and leave without having to run into them. Sometimes, she'll linger to watch the other sorcerer or she'll stop for a chat, to catch up on the latest gossip. But she makes sure that it seems coincidental, like she's not doing this on purpose. Gotta keep her reputation as a good for nothing intact, after all.

She's never seen Yuta Okkotsu, but she can guess who it is by the foreboding presence and the unprecedented levels of cursed energy when the boy shows up unexpectedly while Yuki is observing the cursed spirit.

She debates dipping out for a moment before deciding to introduce herself. "Hey, Okkotsu, right?" she calls out. "What kind of women do you like?"
