eddtord is so interesting like in a fundamental way it feels so different from anything else. like yes its protagonist x antagonist, but its not like most of those, that often being some sort of enemies to lovers rivals thing, but instead, with eddtord theyre childhood best friends. neither of them can bring themselves to hate the other no matter how far away from eachother they get, no matter the things they do to eachother. it feels so much more personal idk
