Ramzan Day 28 - Keep your faith Adversities, misfortunes and pain is a part of life. Infact it is the most loved people of Allah that go through the most hardships. But we humans are weak and in such times out faith often falters. We find it hard to be grateful and to keep praying. At the first sign of adversity we feel angry and frustrated and stop praying. Ramzan Day 26 - Laylatul Qadr Laylatul Qadr is a night which is better than a thousand months. It is the perfect night to wash away our sins and gather as much reward as we can. It is a night to be spent in worship and dua. Here are a few things that we should be doing in the days in which this night may fall. - The Prophet (PBUH) told us to make this special dua on the night of Qadr "Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul ' tuhibbul 'afwa fa ' fu 'annee". "O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me." - Recite the Qur'an. - Reflect on the meaning of the Qur'an. - Make a personal dua list. Ask Allah to give you those things. Think about what actions you have taken to get those things. Develop a work plan to get those things in future. - Make long, sincere and deep duas. Ask for forgiveness, supplicate and beg for whatever it is that you want. The best time to do it is the time before sehri. Ramzan Day 24 - Be grateful Allah loves those who are grateful. The more grateful you are the more Allah with bless you, the more ungrateful you are the more the those blessing will either go away or become a test for you. It often happens that the more we have the more we want and the more we think we deserve it all. We think it's our and will never be taken away and we start taking things for granted, we stop thanking Allah for all that He has given us. However if we face the slightest inconvenience or pain or we don't get what we want when we want it we completely forget all that we have and start complaining to Allah and we questioning Him. We feel angry and impatient and feel like we are the most unfortunate people on earth. We tend to forget that Allah's plan for us is the best plan for He knows what we do not and if we are patient and grateful we will receive what's best for us in due time. But if we are ungrateful we might even lose what we already have. So today let's promise to be grateful for all that we have and be grateful for all that we don't get for it must be better for us.
