2 - Sis a fancy fancy lawyer 😌 she met Winston at her first internship after all. Never thought about what branch of law...maybe family law or something...that could be a full circle moment. Winston probably stuck as an intern or whatever a bit longer than she did which is why she was making more than him at that point. Dw the pay gap still exists in this universe unfortunately so once he worked up to her standing too she was back to being second pfhfh

3 - Ohhh that's all explained HERE where Daniel is first 'introduced' to Xavier...he found out about him last and always kinda held this grudge. Not to mention that Xavier is a few years older than Lucy and was once of her first year dance instructors. Daniel's just extra *narrows eyes* at the poor mans...drives Lucy freaking crazy

Ok but their first moment alone after they were reconnected after the war :') Elizabeth and Daniel go into town to leave them for their afternoon together and Charlie's such a gentleman and makes her tea and brings it to her on the couch and his hands are shaking a little and she wraps her small hands around his as she takes the cup and saucer and smiles up at him like they hadn't been apart for even a day

Omg this is such a Marigold thing. She would be that girlfriend who orders something to be healthy and then when her salad comes she's eyeing Daniel's burger and fries until he's sliding it between them with a sigh and they share it :') She probably gets such a habit of this that it's more than common for them to just share food when they're out...like at the Sunday brunch at Jonah's they would just have one plate between them; a plate that Daniel's stuck carrying for them while Mari just grabs something off of here and there. And and and in doing this since they were dating, he'd get so accustomed to her tastes that they'd be at a potluck or something and he'd be like "you won't like that and then I'm going to be stuck eating it"

"I want to try it. Put it on the plate."

"Mari."

And then, lo and behold, a few minutes later, she's holding the half bitten piece of food out to him with a disgusted expression on her face.

Stop wait I love this for AM Cora and Christian because they so weren’t permitted to have any relationship and she’s the royal gardener so its hard to sneak around but when he’s outside with his parents or sister or fiancé (boooo) or whomever he’s always letting his eyes linger on her and when she looks up from her work they’d share tiny smiles before looking away again.

And before he’d head back inside, he’d make a point to walk the gardens and graze his fingertips over her back ever so discreetly and they’d share another passing smile for that fleeting moment :’)
