No, I didn't mean that we were upset about the show not having enough LGBTQ+ rep. I meant to say that queer people are upset when they look at your blog and see that you say stuff like "There are 2 canon lesbian relationships but people ignore them and get pissy about the other queer ships that didn't go canon." As if 2 was an even enough number compared to 11+ other relationships (and no, I'm not trying to say we should get mad at the creators for this, just pointing out that the difference between 2 and 11+ is enormous, and you shouldn't act like 2 is "enough"). Also, I'm interested to know, WHEN have people ever ignored Korrasami? It's been 6 years and people are celebrating it TO THIS DAY.

If people are getting upset by the things I say then they should stop triggering themselves by reading my blog. Really. There are 10,000+ other things you can be doing with your life than berating me for my opinions. Sorry that I find it a bit absurd people are upset by the comparatively few lgbt ships there are in the Avatar universe. Don’t you know what you want me to say, the show is 15 years old. Since then TLOK gave us korrasami and the Kyoshi novels gave us rangshi. If the series continues I’m sure we’ll get even more. And I think it’s fantastic people are still celebrating korrasami because it’s a great ship! That doesn’t mean they’re also not complaining about their other lgbt ships that didn’t become canon. My inbox gets flooded with “zukka supremacy” posts every day, I don’t post all of them. For now people are just going to have to be content with headcanons and not real canon. Kthxbye!
