What your favorite scene from the movie??

Mine was probably when they saw the wolf on the rocks, I love the music during that scene… or during the science part where ash gets called a wet sandwich lol.

ohh the wolf scene is amazing, just the symbolism of it all !!!! also ilove when mr fox is like "i dont have a fear its a phobia" just that he is calling his own fear of them irrational !! and u are so right the music is so so good

the science scene too oh my god is Everyting to me . just the interactions between agnes and kristofferson is everything 2 me . and u know what if i was called a wet sandwich i dont know what i would do .

my personal favorite scene is probably william defoe rat and mr fox having that little fight before william defoe rat dies . it is so ridiculous to me and his ending words of "like melted gold" ????? i lost my mind oh my god

fantastic mr. fox is such a tight film that generally has a pretty complete universe, but i’ve always had a few burning questions.

we know through ash’s dialogue in the whack-bat scene that kristofferson is not related by blood to mr. fox, and that he’s the blood nephew of felicity. we know his dad, mr. silverfox (ash’s uncle) has double pneumonia and is incapable of taking care of him throughout the timeline of the film. what i want to know though: is kristofferson’s dad felicity’s brother, or her brother-in-law? if he’s her brother, then we know her maiden name is felicity silverfox and that kristofferson’s dad is a red fox, meaning his other parent must be arctic (which actually is factual either way). also, what happened to kristofferson’s other parent? they’re never mentioned, and as kristofferson is sent away while his dad has pneumonia, it can probably be assumed that either his other parent has their hands full with taking care of his dad, or they are in some other way incapacitated.

my assumptions about the scenario lead me to believe that mr. silverfox is felicity’s brother, as due to the absence of any mentions of kristofferson’s other parent, i assume his father is in some way single. if that’s true, then the fact that kristofferson was sent to live with foxy, felicity, and ash suggests that the fox family is on mr. silverfox’s side of the family, as i simply read that as more likely if mr. silverfox was his sole caretaker and therefore responsible for sending him to live with family. but that’s just my hot take on this children’s art house film.
