'Minecraft: Education Edition' Officially Arrives In November

After a summer of test runs, the full version of Minecraft: Education Edition will officially launch on November 1st. The service will require a $5 annual membership per user or a districtwide license. However the Early Access edition will still be free until November.

According to the MinecraftEdu team, more than 35,000 teachers and students have played in Minecraft's sandbox ever since the program was launched at the beginning of the summer. The team has added few education-focused features to the official version. This includes the "Classroom Mode" which gives an up-to-date view of the Minecraft world through an accompanying application. In the app, teachers can control the settings of the world, talk to students in-game and give out items or even teleport their children around the map using an interface that is a single one. The education edition will be updated as the main Minecraft world develops. Teachers are encouraged to provide feedback and feature suggestions.

Finally, for any teachers who haven't stepped into Minecraft's blocky world yet, education.minecraft.net offers some starter worlds, tutorials, free lesson plans in subjects ranging from storytelling to city planning, and a mentoring program to connect them with other educators. How do I find Diamonds in Minecraft 1.19

To find Diamonds in Minecraft 1.19 You must go below the Y=15 mark. This is where you will increase the chances of finding Diamonds.

Minecraft 1.18 introduced several important changes to Minecraft's world generation. If you're playing Minecraft 1.18 or later, you can go down below Y=0, and into negative figures. Below Y=0, you'll find all the usual ore types, including Diamonds embedded in Deepslate Blocks instead of normal Stone blocks.

See the below graph of the distribution of ore for more information on where you can find the most concentration of Diamonds and other resources:

Diamond starts generating at Y=15, and increases in frequency linearly the further you go. To determine the Y-Level you're on, press F3 to bring up the coordinates display. The second number after "XYZ" is the current level of the lower portion of your body.

If you find that a Diamond is going to be placed near an open-air block during the world generation process the possibility is that it will not be able to spawn. This makes it harder to locate diamonds in caves. You'll need to spend some time digging through the earth to increase the chances of finding them.

Summary: To quickly locate diamonds, go as low as possible until you are at the bedrock. Then, you can begin strip-mining!

How to find Diamonds in Minecraft 1.17 and earlier

If you're still playing Minecraft 1.17 or earlier, you'll find Diamond Ore in every Overworld biome that is between the Y-levels 1-15. They are most common at levels 5-12. If you wish to maximize your chances of finding Diamonds in your Overworld biome keep your sights on these two levels.

No matter what version of Minecraft you're playing on, Diamonds will spawn in small veins of up to 9 blocks at a time, although often you'll see larger veins that are made up of multiple veins that touch each other. Diamonds are rare even at the right levels.

Best method for mining Diamonds in Minecraft

Diamond Ore can only be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or better. As of 1.18, Diamonds are far less common in open spaces like caves, which means to maximize your chances of finding Diamonds in Minecraft you must strip-mine in straight lines across all directions.

The most efficient method to mine Diamonds in Minecraft 1.19 is to dig to level 57 and create two blocks high in any direction. Then, begin mining to either side of the tunnel in 2x1 tunnels. Each tunnel has a two-block gap.

When you are satisfied that you have extracted all Diamonds from the level, you can begin the process until you reach level 53. You'll be able see all Diamonds that appear between levels 51 and -58 if you do this at both levels -57 and 53. This will give you the greatest concentration of Diamonds without intermittently running into blocks of Bedrock that may otherwise hinder the strip-mining process.

If you're playing Minecraft 1.17 or earlier, you can follow this exact same method but using levels 6 and 10.

It's a good idea for miners to have a Water Bucket on hand, as pockets of lava are quite common at these levels. To avoid mobs spawning within your tunnels, carry plenty of torchlights to illuminate your path. raunge You can also apply Night Vision potions to lighten your path, but this won't stop mobs spawning.

To build mob spawners in Minecraft first, you must locate a flat area to construct it on. Collect 12 stacks of copperstone, eight buckets of water, 4 hoppers, and 4 small chests. Then, build the mob tower 2 blocks wide by 28 high on each side. Create a branch on each side of the tower, then cover your branches with walls. To make the area more suitable for mobs to breed connect the branches with copper stone to make an oval space. This has been happening to a number of my Modded Java instances through the CurseForge Launcher. I was able to fix it by repairing the profile/installation but now it's not working and i am at a loss ....

I'm running a newer AMD Laptop (Ryzen 5, Radeon 6600M GPU, 32GB RAM and Win11) and there is nothing wrong with any other game, it's authentic, except when i attempt to load modded instances and the pack i mainly use is a forge Pack. I have tried re-installing CurseForge and the modpack, Java and more. I ....cannot determine what's wrong. I was curious if anyone else had encountered this.

It's real. It just hasn’t happened yet. The Peripheral is only available on Prime Video October 21.

Our server is simple to install. We have a small amount of 80 mods. Modpacks change at times when I discover cool new mods. The server is still relatively new and there aren't many players that are op-stacked. We need more people to form teams and grind for equipment. There are days when we scatter op objects across the map. For example, watchtowers that have been abandoned, with loot items like guns and biplanes. Every Friday my admins and myself put down crashed fighter jets on the map so that people are able to locate them.

Minecraft Education Edition Direct purchase

Go to https://education.minecraft.net/ and select How to Purchase In the top navigation bar

Scroll down and select Buy Now for Direct Purchase.

This will take you to the purchase webpage in the Microsoft Admin center. Log in to your Administrator account.

If necessary, fill in any requested organization or payment information.

Select the number of licenses that you want to purchase and then click Place an Order.

Once you've purchased the licenses You'll have to assign them to users in the Admin Center.

If you need additional licenses for Minecraft: Education Edition look up Buy or remove subscription licenses.

Minecraft: Education Edition - volume licensing

Qualified education institutions can purchase Minecraft: Education Edition licenses through their Microsoft channel partner. Schools must be enrolled in the Enrollment For Education Solutions (EES) and the volume licensing program. Educational institutions must work with their channel partner to decide which Minecraft: Education Edition licensing option is the most suitable for their institution. The process is as follows:

- Your channel partner will send and process your order for volume licenses, your licenses will appear on Volume Licensing Service Center, and the licenses will be available in your Microsoft Store for Education inventory. - An email will be sent to you with a the link to Microsoft Store for Education. Minecraft has become a worldwide phenomenon because kids love playing it and parents and teachers applaud the way it stimulates creativity and learning. We've been hesitant to introduce Minecraft to our family due to the tension and obsessive behavior it can cause in many families.

After much discussion and thought, we are finally willing to let our children use Minecraft. We first asked them five questions about our Minecraft obsession and then formulated our family's policy based on their answers. Here's the policy that both our kids had to sign to prior to obtaining Minecraft accounts.

Our Family Minecraft Policy

Principles

1. Minecraft is an EXPERIMENT. 2. Playing Minecraft is a PRIVILEGE, not an absolute right. 3. For safety reasons, Mum and Dad need to know what you are doing on Minecraft and we will put limits on when and how you play. 4. We encourage you to use Minecraft for CREATE, BUILD LEARN CODE, CREATE, and BUILD. 5. We will discuss and evaluate frequently the impact of Minecraft on our families as well as on your personal development and learning. We would love to hear from you about how Minecraft has been rewarding for you. We also would like you to share your concerns with us and help us come up with solutions.

Rules

1. Minecraft is only playable during game play. This means that you are able to play Minecraft during game time.

2. Each child can choose their username. Each child will be assigned a password for Minecraft chosen by mum & dad. We will create your password for you, but you will not have it. This way, we can manage your use. 3. Raunge Only Survival mode and Creative mode are permitted. We will not allow you to play in Survival mode if it causes problems during the game. 4. You can only play on servers that we accept and have you signed into. 5. No stealing from friends or chests of family members. 6. In Minecraft (or elsewhere) it is not possible to kill your friends or siblings. 7. You cannot trap unless you are in a specific trapping area. You must have a plan in place to deal with any trapping that could occur in the event that you accidentally get trapped or killed. 8. You cannot download modsor maps textures packs, mods, or any other files. If you wish to download something, you'll have to contact us for assistance in downloading the file to your computer , so that we can ensure that the files are safe to download. 9. You can EARN mods and maps, texture packs and other add-ons, by showing us what you have created, built, or programmed yourself. We'll be more inclined to assist you in expanding Minecraft the more we see what you are creating. This applies to free downloads as well as paid mods/maps/expansions. 10. If we want to know what you are doing in Minecraft at any time you will be able to show us your screen IMMEDIATELY. 11. It is your obligation to save your game, progress or creations before the game expires. You'll lose your progress if do not save. 12. It is your responsibility to ensure a smooth transition to Minecraft at the conclusion of your session without yelling, whining or requests for more time. Before you begin playing, you need to think about how you will move from Minecraft to your next activity. Let us know your plan before we begin playing. This could include: - Taking three deep breaths - Going for an exercise around the block - taking out your favorite book, and having it available for you - Asking us to arrange an activity on the board that you can play once you're done with Minecraft

13. Any violation of this policy could result in the loss of Minecraft privileges for a period of up to ONE WEEK. These violations include but aren't limited to: - Asking for more time - Asking to play before the game time is over - Having tantrums after Minecraft is over changing or sneaking into Minecraft Downloading filesHide your screen or delaying showing it to us when we request it -

14. If Minecraft persists to cause problems we will remove it off all our computers and ban Minecraft from our home for a maximum of 3 months. This policy applies to both children, even if one of them is struggling with managing Minecraft.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be available in the UK on June 28, and will include a 48-hour subscription to Xbox Live Gold. 'Minecraft: Education Edition' The Game will be Available for Purchase In November

After a summer of test runs, the full version of Minecraft: Education Edition will officially launch on November 1st. The service will require a $5 annual membership per user or a districtwide license. However the Early Access edition will still be free until November.

According to the MinecraftEdu team, more than 35,000 teachers and students have played in Minecraft's sandbox ever since the program was launched at the beginning of the summer. The team has added few education-focused features to the official version. This includes the "Classroom Mode" which gives an up-to-date view of the Minecraft world through an accompanying application. In the app, teachers can control the settings of the world, talk to students in-game and give out items or even teleport their children around the map using an interface that is a single one. The education edition will be updated as the main Minecraft world develops. Teachers are encouraged to provide feedback and feature suggestions.

Finally, for any teachers who haven't stepped into Minecraft's blocky world yet, education.minecraft.net offers some starter worlds, tutorials, free lesson plans in subjects ranging from storytelling to city planning, and a mentoring program to connect them with other educators.
