#obviously it's going to come between them but im more focused on what it means for how ray thinks#bc he knows that sand *wont* take money from him. does he say that to push him away? purely out of classism/judgement for the gogo bar?#it seems like a continuation of what he said about sand not really *wanting* to be a singer#ray feels disillusioned about sand As Musician now which is kind of... odd? to me? considering how much sand's dreams are about music#i thiiiink it does all come back to classism. he finds it distasteful to prioritise making money over doing something you love#which is *hysterical* from a guy doing a business degree?#only friends
