You looked into Harvey’s office, you smiled when you saw him standing with his back to the doorway, looking out. You took off your shoes, so he wouldn’t hear them on wooden flooring, before placing them neatly and walking into his office. ‘Hey stranger.’ You whispered in his ear as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. He brung a hand up and rubbed along your arm. You placed a kiss on his shirt, between his shoulder blades. ‘How are you?’ You asked him, you know how tough this case was on him and Mike. He just shrugged his shoulders. ‘I had a meeting today with Logan.’ You told him, he tensed up before he turned to you. ‘He hired you, didn’t he?’ He said suddenly, dropping your hands. ‘He hired you to find the skeletons on Mike’s closet, I told him not to.’ Harvey said more to himself than you. He then looked up at you. ‘You know what Mike’s went through and you’re just going to hand it over, so he can find out.’ Harvey spat at you, you took a step back and creased your eyebrows. ‘If you had just accepted what he offered, this wouldn’t be happening.’ You said. ‘If i- how do you know what been going down.’ Harvey looked at you, you didn’t back down. ‘I’m friends with Rachel remember?’ You said, he looked at you before he could say anything, your dinged, you looked at it. ‘I have to go.’ You said, you placed your shoes on and went to kiss Harvey’s cheek, but he had walked away, so you walked out his office, sending a wave to Donna.

‘Y/n you have the report on Mike Ross?’ Logan asked, as you walked in report in hand. ‘Yes.’ You said, you noticed Harvey refusing to look at you, so you kept your eyes on Logan. ‘Well…’ He said waited for you to say something, you sighed before speaking. ‘He’s clean, there’s nothing about him.’ You said out your peripheral vison your saw Harvey turning and looking at you. ‘What do you mean there’s nothing?’ Logan asked annoyed, you handed him the file, to which he snatched and opened trying find something. ‘It’s how he says, he met Harvey at the open applicant day, he and Harvey worked together for a couple of years, he left and is now engaged to Rachel.’ You said, as you took a step back from the desk. ‘You’ve got to be lying.’ He mumbled. ‘Nope, unless you want me to search into Rachel’s background?’ You suggested ‘Oh, but you wouldn’t want that would you? Employee working with ex-affair. I can imagine the headlines already.’ You said as you tucked your hair behind your ear. ‘You wouldn’t?’ He said watching you closely, the vein in his head making an appearance, you smirked before avoiding the answer. ‘I’ve done my job, I want my money in my account, tomorrow at the latest.’ You said as you turned to leave the office but when you got to the door you turned. ‘And don’t start the crap I didn’t get what you wanted. Everything you wanted to know was just in front of you. You and your ego were just to blind to see it.’ You said, before smiling sweetly and walking away.

‘You never ratted him out.’ Harvey said, you raised an eyebrow. ‘Did you really think I was gonna that low?’ You asked Harvey, he looked at the ground. ‘You did. He’s my best friend, I don’t care if you’re against one and other. I’m not going to fling any of you under it, you can fight your own wars without me or Rachel in between.’ You told him, he walked closer to you reaching out for you, to bring you in for a hug. You took a step back. ‘That reminds me, you have some making up to do.’ You told Harvey, he looked up and smiled as he pulled his jacket off and placing it over the chair, following you into the bedroom. ‘Where do you think your going?’ You asked him, he stopped. ‘Coming to make it up to you.’ He said, you smile and shook your head, walking over and pushing him out. ‘No, you’re making me some food, you aren’t getting any of this for a while.’ You told him, motioning at you, before taking a step back and closing the door.
