reading some brazilian comics for Reasons and woag I forgot how much brazilian art fucks
#youni originals#reason is i suddenly remembered the existence of turma da mônica#and then i found out about the graphic msp series (where guest artists make comics out of mauricio de sousa's characters)#(mauricio de sousa is the creator of turma da monica) (there are different 'groups' of characters outside turma da monica)#read the first penadinho and astronauta ones. the penadinho one's art is soooo lovey i lovey it#and the astronauta ones. i am starting the fourth one right now. i love space <3 and weird astronaut in his sphere ship#kinda wish they hadn't made him so. angular. his whole original design is sooo circles. his suit was pretty much a ball with arms and legs.#make him rounder you coward >:/#unrelated to the graphic novel but related to his original design i think it's very funny that astronaut is both his job and his actual nam
