palteringcecutiency Thank you. It was a different method than that, one with literal jumps. The ship would hop out of reality for a moment, to another place, and then hop back in at its destination. Not an easy thing to manage, and quite draining as well.

And while I would not give you detailed plans again, I trust you with the knowledge enough to lay things out for you, explain how it worked. And yes. Leaving one's universe takes a great deal of energy, let alone taking an entire ship and all its contents with you.
