Hey! Glad you have made it over to my Rebel Junk site. I would love to have you follow along on this little journey called life. Being a woman entrepreneur, wife, mom and thrifty junker can make for some crazy adventures! Let's do this thing together. xoxo Dixie

OUR MOM STARTED IT ALL BY TAKING US TO EVERY GARAGE SALE, THRIFT STORE AND FLEA MARKET SHE COULD FIND WITH ALL 5 KIDS IN TOW. WE WOULD ALL PILE IN OUR OLD FORD TRUCK.. AND JUMP OUT AS SOON AS SHE STOPPED TO SEE WHAT WE COULD FIND. GROWING UP IN A SMALL TOWN IN WASHINGTON STATE WITH VERY LITTLE MONEY... MOM HAD TO DO THE BEST SHE COULD WITH WHAT WE HAD. AS WE GREW WE LEARNED ALL THE BEST JUNKING TECHNIQUES FROM OUR MOM.  AT THE AGE OF 32, I TOOK THE LEAP AND OPENED MY VERY OWN VINTAGE STORE. ALL THE LONG HOURS AWAY FROM MY SMALL CHILDREN TOOK A TOLL. I WANTED TO FIND SOMETHING THAT I LOVED TO DO WITHOUT ALL THE LONG HOURS, DAY AFTER DAY. MY OLDER SISTER AND I CAME UP WITH THE PERFECT PLAN! WE BECAME THE FUNKY JUNK SISTERS AND HELD A VINTAGE MARKET CALLED "JUNK SALVATION" THAT WAS NAMED ONE OF THE TOP 25 VINTAGE MARKETS IN AMERICA. NOW THAT 10 YEARS HAVE GONE BY. WE ARE TAKING OUR MARKET TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

REBEL JUNK IS BORN!!!

JUST A REBEL CHILD WITH A VINTAGE SOUL. THIS IS ME STEPPING OUT OF THE NORM. LAUNCHING A CHALK PAINT LINE, DESIGNING OLD SCHOOL STYLE OF FURNITURE WITH MY HUBBY, PRODUCING & PROMOTING ONE OF THE BEST VINTAGE MARKETS AROUND AND COLLECTING ALL THINGS VINTAGE!

REBEL JUNK IS A VINTAGE MARKET THAT WILL BE HELD A FEW TIMES A YEAR IN DIFFERENT STATES! COME SEE HOW WE HAVE TRANSFORMED OUR SHOW! KEEP UP WITH THE CURRENT EVENTS HERE...

ALONG WITH THE MARKETS, WE HAVE OPENED THREE STOREFRONTS, ONE SHOPPE IN THE BEAUTIFUL RESORT TOWN OF COEUR D' ALENE, IDAHO CALLED "REBEL JUNK". NESTLED ALONG LAKE COEUR D' ALENE WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS IS A SWEET TOWN WITH LOTS OF CHARACTER. THIS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO START AN OCCASIONAL STORE... AT FIRST OPENING JUST ONE WEEKEND A MONTH, THEN BEING ASKED TO OPEN MORE FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY. NOW WE HAVE TWO IN SPOKANE, WASHINGTON WHICH HAVE JUST BEEN OPEN FOR ONE YEAR WITH MUCH SUCCESS! JUNK HAS TAKEN ON A LIFE OF IT'S OWN... TO PAINTING CUSTOM FURNITURE, DESIGNING FURNITURE FOR EXCLUSIVE RESORT PROPERTIES, BUILDING SPECIAL DISPLAYS FOR OTHER STORES LOCATED IN TOWN OR DESIGNING ONE OF A KIND SIGNS FOR WEDDINGS. REBEL JUNK IS WHERE YOU CAN COME SHOP UPCYCLED AND REPURPOSED ITEMS. WHERE RECYCLED VINTAGE CHANNEL LETTERS LIGHT UP THE WALLS, AND EVER CHANGING DECOR WITH "PINTEREST" INSPIRATION BUILDS THE FOUNDATION. IN 2021 WE HAVE SEEN GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND WILL BE EXPANDING EVEN MORE… WE ARE ADDING ANOTHER NEW BUSINESS CALLED “DIXIE & COMPANY”! THIS ONE WILL HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF MY TWIST ON THINGS. STAY TUNED!

REBEL JUNK HAS STYLED SOME MAJOR EVENTS. STAGECOACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL IS WHERE YOU WILL SEE SOME OF OUR DESIGNS IN THE HONKY TONK HALL, THE ARTIST COMPOUND AND THE VIP LOUNGES. THE TWIST OF A LITTLE COUNTRY WITH A WHOLE LOT OF FUNKY IS WHERE WE LIKE TO PLAY. DESERT TRIP WAS THE HOLY GRAIL OF DESIGN JOBS FOR US! DECORATING IT UP FOR SOME MAJOR ROCK STARS... THE ROLLING STONES, SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY, THE WHO AND NEIL YOUNG... JUST TO NAME A FEW! WE HAVE ADDED COACHELLA TO THE LIST OF OUR EVER GROWING REPERTOIRE! NOT TO SHABBY FROM A SMALL TOWN GIRL IN THE BIG WORLD!

Countless hours have been spent downloading, digitally fixing (healing) vintage flower seed catalogue covers. I love the old beautiful graphics, ❤️ the color illustrations of flowers. Rebel Junk is EXCITED to have Clint Darnell preform live Friday night March 22, 2019 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. If you have seen Clint Darnell preform live around the local area or our Holiday market… you know this man has some talent! Catch him live at our next Rebel Junk Vintage Market in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Join us for some shopping, live music, food, and drinks for a great night out on the town. Included with Early Bird admisson $10.

Here’s a little BIO about Clint!

Clinton Lane Darnell, Singer song writer performer and front man of The Muddy Frog Watters Band. Has been writing & working the inland Northwest down to southern California for the last 15 years With an Americana, country rock style best described as low rent rockin hillbilly bluz. Clint has 3 cd's under his belt not including the kids cd & ready for number 4.
