reminder that being a minority isn’t a moral alignment. bad and bigoted people are members of every group, and rather than pretending they “don’t count,” we need to recognize and take responsibility for that.

#racist lgbts are still racist and we can’t just ‘kick them out’ of the lgbt community #it’s just not so easy. we can and should remove them from our spaces but we can’t just take away their identity #recognizing bigotry within minority communities is worth a lot more than discrediting its existence #i’m not sure if i’ve made my point clear enough
