the more i write and think about the plot of honeybee the more i realize that grimm's past keeps coming back to affect the present and it's not as separate from the plot as i initially thought it was going to be. didn't quite intend for it to be a story about remaking oneself and carrying on while bearing the marks left on you by others but i guess it kinda is now...?

#i would elaborate more but there's still a lot of ironing out and names i need to figure out before i feel like i can articulate things #to anyone but myself #i also have this thing where i know what grimm's name was before it was grimm but i'm not sure what to do with that information #because it could just be their deadname. but it ALSO could be the name of someone they never got to become #and do they reclaim that name in the end?#is that something i want the audience to know or is that something only for yarrow to know?#i also need to figure out its relationship to the name grimm too bc i'm leaning more towards it's a name they chose. but also i could have #been given to them too so that's not off the table #the transgenderism of it all..........#this sort of 'these things can go either way' thing is a lot of what i'm dealing with irt to my first tags where it's like. neither option #is wrong or bad they just mean different things and i need to figure out which direction i want to take it #regardless grimm is grimm tho. they're grimm in my brain first and foremost #honeybee #rambles
