STARTING OFF WITH LEO/NEED!

- In leo/need i only really see shiho as a pet regressor, specifically a bunny regressor.

- all of leo/need + shizuku are her caregivers, petsitters if you will.

-when she's slipped into that space, she's so much more cuddly and affectionate, cuddling up to anyone near her that she trusts.

-leo/need has a little space set up in the school SEKAI with some rabbit toys, a pet bed, and anything a little bunny would need to feel loved and cared for!

-petnames are used more than generously, specifically "little bunny", "baby rabbit", or "bunbun" ;;

(they love her so much)

-In MMJ, i headcanon airi and shizuku as pet regressors, airi as a kitty regressor, shizuku also as a bunny.

-like shiho, airi becomes quite the ball of affection, pouncing on her friends in hopes of petting!!

-shizuku becomes a bit more energetic, hopping around the SEKAI, being the curious little rabbit she is!

-minori and haruka, due to their stamina built up from idol training, have no issue keeping up with their little pets!! airi and shizuku get so playful in this headspace, and haruka and minori are so excited to play with their friends!

-toya is just a sleepy little bunny guy, content to just curl up in someone's lap, getting his ears and head gently pet (mainly by akito SHHHH)

-an is just.. so excited to take care of koha and toya.. she's so happy to take care of her friends and know that they trust her enough to share this with her!!! she takes them on little walks around the sekai, holding each of their hands.... uuuu

WONDERLANDS X SHOWTIME

-puppy regressor tsukasa, puppy regressor emu, kitty regressor rui!!!!! (in my heart i WANTED to say platypus regressor rui.. i'll save that idea for another time :3)

-emu and tsukasa play together,, so much... so much fetch... so much tug of war,,, they get the zoomies so MUCH!!

-similarly to what i mentioned about an, nene takes all three of them on walks, using a specially designed leash, made by rui of course.

-emu tugs the leash. nene falls down. she makes it better with kisses though!!

-tsukasa is the biggest lapdog ever. sit down? now you have a puppy in your lap and he wants pets... hehe

-emu's gymnastics abilities carry into her regression, she's always excited to learn new tricks to impress her caregivers, and get treats!!

-rui has the ability to purr and meow realistically. he does it. a lot. also he's tall so he always has to bend down to get pets.. makes him feel so small.. hehe.

-rui designed little collars for him, emu, and tsukasa!! they are purple, pink, and orange respectively, with little charms representing them! they love them!

NIGHTCORD AT 25:00!!

-kitty mizuki. i rest my case.

-oooh,,, they're so kitty... all that hanging out they do with rui has lead to them also being able to realistically purr and meow!! they meow incessantly whenever they're in need of attention!

-he also made them a cute baby pink collar with a ribbon ;;

-stylish kitty!! whenever ena is watching over them, they have a whole grooming session for mizu! ena brushes their hair, paints their nails, and gives them a little kitty spa day!

-kanade doesn't have the most energy, but that's okay! she can still watch mizuki just as well.,, they take cat naps together... mizuki keeps her nice and warm and purrs to her!

-mafuyu was a bit hesitant to try and care for them, a bit scared from how sensitive and close to mizuki's heart this was. however, he gives them so much attention.. they go to empty sekai, they play fetch too!! kitties can play fetch!!!

-the empty sekai is perfect for an energetic little kitty!! its just a big wide open space, but calm at the same time! when energetic, they run around and skitter everywhere!! when they're a little sleepy, they curl up with a virtual singer and nap to their little kitty heart's content!

-Goodness he is so tiny, so very tiny, 1-3 age range. The ittiest bittiest little guy, probably the littlest of the prsk kids, goodness don't get me started he is just so small-

-He's not overly embarrassed or ashamed of regressing, it's just a part of him, no reason to beat himself over something he can't control. He does feel a bit bad admitting he's feeling small though, he doesn't want to bother anyone with it or make them mad at him, especially if it's somehow he hasn't been little around before. Thankfully he's surrounded by people who help him feel more comfortable, so he's getting a bit better at telling others if he's regressed.

-Stress is normally what makes him slip, especially things regarding his family. He's also the type to feel little when sleepy, he's practically guaranteed to feel small after a long event with VBS.

-I like to think that the rest of VBS and the Tenma siblings have been working to help Toya experience all of the things he wasn't able to in his childhood, so every so often they'll take him out to do something or buy him something that instantly makes him feel tiny

-Akito and Tsukasa are his main caregivers, he's more comfortable with them than with anyone else. Kohane, An, and Saki take care of him sometimes too, but he's a bit shy with them, clinging to either "Aki" or "Niichan" if they're with him, or his blankie or stuffy. The Virtual Singers act as CGs for him every now and then as well, they make him feel really safe as well ♡

-An absolutely calm and quiet little guy, only speaking in a few words or babbles, it's very rare to find him without his paci and a lovey. Extremely cuddly when compared to his big self, even though he's a bit shy with asking for things he will always be willing to ask for uppies from Tsukasa or Akito!

-Even though he still isn't that emotive, he's a lot more so when he's little, though he's also a bit of a sensitive little guy. The smallest good things will send him beaming and giggling, the littlest bad things could make him tear up, he's a lot more scared of people getting upset with him in this state. However, he's relatively easy to cheer up, just give him cuddles or spend time with him and he'll be a very happy little guy, or reassure him that you'd never get mad at him.

-Still a little bookworm when he's small, sometimes he can read to himself but usually he'll have a CG or playmate do so for him, he's absolutely entranced by the tales they tell. Sometimes he tries to tell stories of his own, and whoever's listening to him will listen to every word (even of most of them are babbles).

-He's a bit nervous about playing, especially with other regressors. He wasn't really allowed to as a kid, what if he does it wrong? (Honey that's not a thing please-) Other little guys always work their hardest to include him in whatever they're doing, Toya's super fun, even if he doesn't realize it himself!

-Those who know about his little side absolutely *spoil* him, anything he wants they'll give him. He only has a very small supply of little stuff hidden under his bed (just a paci, a sippy cup, a little blankie, and a plushie or two from the Tenmas), but they keep a lot at Akito's house or in the Sekai. He's unintentionally very good at puppy-dog eyes, the quietest little "p'ease?" will get him almost anything-

-Unlike his big self, he has a decently big sweet tooth, especially towards cookies. In the very rare chance he misbehaves (it's very uncommon, if it happens another little one put him up to it) offering him a cookie will get him to stop right away.

🍜 | a strict and serious caregiver. She doesn't bend with pleads or puppy eyes either; so in terms of bending the rules (ex, staying up longer) is a stern no. She also may have some rules set for you, mostly a routine so her, and you can keep track with everything.

🍜 | as well as being a serious CG, She's also a protective one. She will protect her kiddo from everything that seems to be a danger to the both of you. she is willing to get into physical fights to protect you too.

🍜 | not usually physically affectionate but will always hold your hand. She will intertwine pinky fingers to gently holding your hand in hers. When alone, she let's you go into her lap and even let's you sleep in it.

🍜 | even though her love language isn't always physical, she finds her love language being more directed towards words than actions. She loves to praise you and tell you you're doing such a good job about anything you do/achieve.

As a regressor! :

• A very chill, laid back little- often with his head in a book.

• His main caregivers are the house leaders, but Sothis is a secondary option from time to time- it just depends how Byleth is feeling at the time which determines which caregiver he gravitates to!

• Although he doesn’t show it, he loves to have tea parties with his current caregiver, although he normally needs a bit of assistance with the teapot so he doesn’t accidentally injure himself.

• Usually non-verbal, the house leaders know him so well however they know exactly what he needs at any current time!

• He doesn’t like loud noises when regressed and prefers to snuggle up in the library with a book of fairytales, tucked away from the world.

• Not a lot of people know he regresses with how well he hides it with his stoic attitude, only the closest people can tell when he slips!

• Although he doesn’t have much, he gets all his regression supplies from Yuri, and has built up a little collection of random stuff.

As a caregiver:

• He always has a spare pacifier on him incase one of his students regresses, he can always tell with those sharp instincts of his.

• He’s a bit of a stern caregiver but it’s all out of love- he makes sure his little one is healthy and has been getting enough food and water. His little one is his top priority!

• He loves to sit his little one on his lap and read to them from various textbooks and books he has, his calm voice is very soothing- he uses this to get his little one to a peaceful slumber.

• A very low-energy caregiver, but he’s incredibly kind despite his neutral expression looking a tad grumpy!

• He loves to have his little one close to him when he’s in the middle of grading papers or getting work prepared for his lectures, having their presence makes even the most boring things enjoyable!

Investigation team headcanons!

Yu found out about his headspace when it was still just him and Yosuke. It was a secret just between them, and that's what really strengthened their bond. Yu didn't tell the others until much, much later.

Teddie takes his role as a big brother VERY seriously! He'll drop everything of someone needs his help.

If he suspects Yosuke might be close to regresses, he mother hens him all over Junes. Mandatory break times and water breaks, no negotiations!

Kanji loves being a caregiver because he gets to make crafts for the kiddos. He made Yu's favorite bunny plush, Yosuke's stuffed dino, and Yukiko's favorite baby blanket! But he also gets to do traditional 'manly' things by carrying them around. Yukiko requests piggyback rides the most

Naoto and Yukiko are the oldest, so they play together the most, even if they don't always get along. It's not like they FIGHT but Yukiko loves playing pretend and Naoto loves puzzles, so there's not always the biggest amount of overlap between their interests.

Usually Rise plays with Yukiko. Is she a regressor too? No one knows for sure. Sometimes she gets really into the games they play, but maybe it's just her being enthusiastic? No one can reach a consensus. Not even Rise.

Honestly she's the jack-of-all-trades with the kiddos. She's good at picking up on Yu's nonverbal clues and she plays peek-a-boo with him. She's always down for a good game of dolls. She has this "praising kids" voice that always dunks Yosuke. She's surprisingly good at stringing together mysteries for Naoto to solve.

Every kiddo has their "package deal: do not separate" person. Yu and Yosuke, Chie and Yukiko, Kanji and Naoto. But honestly Yu gets anxious if even one person is separated from the group, and Yosuke likes to pretend he isn't as clingy around Teddie as he is.

Yosuke is secretly jealous of Yu for having a parent that's so accepting. He doesn't know how his parents would react and frankly he'd rather not find out.

Yukiko's family doesn't know but they "know," if that makes sense. Like the staff knows she has off days, exhausted days, quiet days, and they're all a little gentler with her. Yosuke wouldn't admit it but he's jealous of that too

Chie has started a collection of kid movies to go with her action movies just for when they have movie nights with the kiddos. A lot of them are from her own childhood, but sometimes she and Yukiko will head out to nearby thrift stores. Rise joins them sometimes, because she and Yukiko know what the babies like the best

Yay another baby Mizu enjoyer! I love CG Ena as much as you but i also have an idea to share, young teen regressor (around her middle school days i think?) Ena hanging out with baby Mizu :D Ena drawing for fun then getting frustrated or insecure in her skills but Mizu comes over and marvels at how absolutely gorgeous "big sis Ena's" art is and Ena asks Mizu if they have anything they want her to draw for them and Mizu has the wildest requests (Everything from "Draw us n' Mafu n' Kanade riding a dragon, you n' Mafu are knights n' Kanade is a queen and I am the princet! N' I wanna have a pink princess dress") Ena obliges and Mizu is just so excited. Added bonus: when Mizu is big, they see the artwork so they date and store it, they keeps all Ena's art bc they see Ena's confidence skyrocket ever since they regressed together and wanted to show her that they like her drawings not only when they're small, but also just in general.

It's super easy for me to see Mizu as a regressor due to various reasons, particularly involuntarily! (And they very much deserve to catch up on their childhood)

dynamic: regressor! mizu

content warnings: mentions of vent regression due to trauma, physical/mental anguish, light mentions of gender dysphoria ((stay safe little firelights, you can always come back to this when you're ready))

mizu has always been a trauma regressor to me, especially due to their lack of dealing with their feelings head on. their body would have to nearly force them to stop and take a break from their revenge mission and focus on recovering.

the first time she regressed would be terrifying to her, the feeling of being so out of control and helpless would make her hide away to try to push herself out of it as fast as possible.

it would take an incredible amount of time and trust developed before she felt safe around someone to tell, let alone show such a vulnerable state.

the select characters that i could realistically see her regressing around would be sword father or ringo.

if she were to regress voluntarily it would be to have the childhood that she wished she could have, one where she wasn't forced to grow up as a boy and to ease her gender dysphoria with feminine items/clothing.

she would be a very independent kiddo, not wanting to rely on others in fear that she would be an inconvenience or she would be punished for wasting someone's time after being treated as a monster for so long. if she were honest she genuinely wouldn't know how to react to such affection.

that being said, she needs gentle reassurance when in a younger state with a caregiver that helps her along the way. adding fruit/vegetables to her meals to make sure its balanced or mending their clothes would never go unnoticed and greatly appreciated.

she'd be so used to the feeling of being in pain or nauseous that she'd have a hard time differentiating pain that should be attended to or not. therefore her caregiver would need to keep an eye on her and remind her that any and all pain is worth looking at/caring for.

as a sentimental person she'd want to keep things gifted to her and wear or use them as comfort items until they physically can't be repaired anymore.

some of her favorite gifts would include free flowing or baggy clothes that she can keep close to her person for comfort.

her main comfort item is her sword, and would not be able to go anywhere or sleep without it clutched to her side as it reminds her of home and is something that she can rely on to keep her safe.

an actually extremely feral regressor as well if given the chance to be her true self (/lh /pos). i could absolutely see them wanting to play outside and then coming back home caked in mud and bruises while having the time of their life.

let her be a goofy kid!! growing up so fast from situations out of her control that she'd long for days where she'd let herself have fun.

LOVES going to the beach/aquarium. a true ocean lover whose favorite activities involve being around or in large bodies of water.

play fighting is a love language! she would love to wrestle her playmates/caregivers to see who is the strongest. as a physically stronger regressor she'd need to learn the value of her strength and to not be too rough if she were to get too excited.

they can get easily frustrated with creative tasks, and would prefer specific instruction in order to feel useful. it would make them the best helper around.

would love to play a game where they are the hero for once. (being called a monster can wear someone down mentally and it would definitely make her day to be seen as the hero of the story).

she also requires a ton of quiet time to allow her mind and body to rest. would she ever do it herself willingly is another question for another day, but she'd reluctantly do it if asked of her with sufficient gentle praise and coaxing.

as touch starved as they are, i can't see her being the one to initiate contact with someone unless the moment takes over her softer side and she can't help but wrap her arms around them or gently nudge them with her body to tell them that she's there and cares for them.

from her caregiver or those that she considers close she would accept forms of physical affection but wouldn't be too vocal on how much it means to her.

she'd believe that she'd never be able to repay her caregiver for their kindness but will continually try to find little things throughout the day to show them how grateful she is.

oddly enough i could totally see her gifting a sword to her caregiver as it is something that she believes she's good at and would work tirelessly day and night to make sure it's perfect.

despite being in a younger mindset she can and still would mean business to anyone who dares mess with her caregiver. even a baby phoenix still has talons.
