thinking about that person who was saying that lucaya made them blind to how bad gmw was and that they were scared to look back on their rina days in a few years and think the same thing about hsmtmts
#very funny#i mean it's a show called hsmtmts#like my first thought was bestie i don't know how to tell you this#but what i actually think as someone who doesn't think hsmtmts is particularly good except for when it is it won't seem as bad#as gmw because it's sillier like on purpose?#and they're not like glee with the tackling every sensitive issue under the sun in a way that's questionable to say the least#gmw was very earnest and a lot of it just...did not age well#i was old as hell watching that show (i was like 14-15) and i did see some of the flaws that are now obvious to everyone like i#remember watching gm commonism (yeah) and being like what kind of cold war usa propaganda is this........also remember being like smackle#being autistic is good👍 i don't know if i realized the characters being that weird about farkle possibly being autistic and then him#not being autistic and then them making his gf who's exactly like him autistic and it being positive that time was weird. still don't know#why they would do that like um. okay.#joshaya hate was a yes. the love triangle and maya 'becoming' riley storyline was always hated by me. because it was very bad and made no#sense. but anyway#i disliked hsmtmts season 2 as the episodes were coming out so i'm not gonna say that's gonna age well but people who like rina aren't#usually the biggest fans of that season#but like some of it is cringe now so of course it will be in like 10 years. but ykwim they're more self-aware#even though some of it is still bad#and like i say: brf slt
