its crazy to me to think that characters that don’t exist within actual tes lore are becoming so vital to people’s ocs, their stories, and the player’s experience in skyrim . that’s a really beautiful thing i think. we’re all just adding in things to an ever expanding world that’s becoming kind of our own creation with every new element we add

#am i making no sense idk #im kind of stupid and sleepy rn but its like idk. i wouldnt have enjoyed morrowind or skyrim nearly as much were it not for the characters #other people added in that got me emotionally invested in the smaller experiences of the world #finishing all these quest objectives just to get to hear all of inigo's music at the bards college.....#taking auri around to all these caverns to reminisce about her life in valenwood......#remiel having specific amounts of dwemer ruins she needs/wants to explore to upgrade scrap..........#lucien constantly expressing interest and curiosity in places and things you pick up along your travels...........#like all this stuff just adds up into a unique experience that makes the world come alive to me
