9. How do you write kissing scenes?
ohoho, well... there’s two types of kisses i guess: the one where i try to describe the emotions, as well as visual, auditory and tactile sensations to create a vivid picture of what i have in mind... something that, if possible, causes a physical reaction while reading... the other type is a kiss where i try to describe what kind of meaning it has to the people kissing, or to the story in general! this is where i try to make a reader think more than just feel; and in that case you might also see a bit of the influences of me liking poetry, i think
14. Do you try to put themes, motifs, messages, morales, etc in your writing? If so, how do you go about it?
yeeeees, absolutely. this is one of my favorite things to do! haven’t done so in most of the lighthearted drabbles on my blog (my older work) but especially in the angsty stories? a necessity, kinda the driving force of my work tbh, couldn’t do without it. almost everything has some kind of purpose and helps paint a larger picture! i use themes and motifs to emphasize the role something or someone has, as well as for foreshadowing. and the message and moral of the story is pretty much the first thing i decide on when i plan a story :) how i go about it? no idea, sorry, i just write what i feel... it’s mostly just... in my head already when i work on it
send me asks about writing technique!
