roy was out at the archery range training with lian, teaching her to shoot a new bow that he just recently had made for her. of course, he went to investigate to determine if things were safe or not and they both wound up... in a new world. 

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

right now, roy has found an apartment around the city that is pretty cheap. it’s about all he can afford since he really isn’t the biggest fan of using oliver’s money these days. it’s enough for him and his daughter, but hardly anything that screams wealth or anything. all he needed was something comfortable and to hold him over until they can get back to their universe and star city. 

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

well, the titans are his family, and are mostly remnants of the old teen titans. they’ve all been through so much together at this point that roy couldn’t possibly imagine a life without them in it. he returned to the team after a brief stint with the justice league, where he decided to step back after... the Prometheus incident occurred. he just didn’t feel like he belonged anymore, and the titans were a better fit for him at the end of the day. as for shield, he’s working for them mostly to learn things and figure out what’s going on. wouldn’t be the first time he’s worked for a government agency in this way. 

who are their major friends, allies, and foes?

the titans and the justice league are always going to be his allies and friends, though the titans are definitely the ones he has a closer bond with. foes tend to be anyone that’s an enemy of green arrow and the titans. 

whose hands do they believe the country should be in?

these days, roy isn’t too sure. he’s rather not stick his nose into this whole business because it isn’t his place. all he wants is to fight for a better tomorrow for his daughter. 

what’s their current mental state at? their physical state?

mental state isn’t too well, i’m afraid. after the excitement of being invited into the justice league and then the Prometheus attack following right after, it was a whirlwind. he’s been trying to keep it together as best as he can for lian, but it’s gotten difficult. his physical state is a bit of a mess as well. the attack left him missing an arm, and though roy has a cybernetic enhancement courtesy of cyborg, it’s a huge adjustment for the archer. he has to relearn his bow, has to relearn how to shoot, has to relearn how to use this arm with weaponry and perfect it all once again with his fighting techniques. it hasn’t been easy and roy is still struggling with it all.

intangibility - can destabilze his own molecules to walk through solid objects; with enough concentration, he can cause other people to walk through objects with him as long as they’re touching. he’s still working on controlling this power, as he often can’t control when he unstabilizes.

was your character “blipped” out? if so, what did they return to and how is it affecting them?

tommy was blipped out. he had been having another yelling match with his dad about how his grades were dropping again. he felt being dusted in excrusiating detail as his body naturally tried to hold himself together. the next thing tommy knew, he was standing in his living room again, now decorate very differently, standing in front of a horrified man and his wife who he did not recognize. in the five years he had been gone, frank and mary shepherd had up and left new jersey. being abandoned by his parents really did not help. tommy went on downward spiral, cutting off contact with his friends and family. picking up petty crime again to deal with some of the negative energy building up inside, tommy was finally found by s.w.o.r.d. a few months ago after someone sent in a witness report of him robbing a gas station and phasing through the wall to escape.

while part of him is happy to be back with his fellow young avengers, truly the only family he has left, he’s haunted by the five years he missed with those who weren’t blipped.

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

it’s hard to keep a speedster who can also phase through solid objects contained. currently, tommy finds himself bouncing between campus at s.w.o.r.d.’s training facility, at least until he can weasel himself out of the legal charges hanging over his head from his little bender. but tommy has also found a place amongst the mutants of genosha. the island is a nice escape for him when it gets too much in new york... sometimes being the only mutant on the team has it’s perks.

why is your character affiliated with s.w.o.r.d.?

as much as tommy advertises being a independent individual, he truly felt lost after returning from the blip. he followed in suit with most of his friends, deep down not wanting to get separated from them again. plus, he was offered some wavers from previously mentioned legal charges if he joined: his record is already dirty enough. he truly enjoys being a hero and wants to keep doing the work for as long as he can.

who are their major friends, allies, and foes?

first and foremost, his fellow young avengers -- billy kaplan, teddy altman, kate bishop, cassie land, america chavez, eli bradley, nate richards, david alleyne (pls someone bring him), noh-varr, etc. even if he doesn’t say it outloud, tommy is deeply loyal to all of them. he keeps his mouth shut when it comes to his opinions of the folks of the avengers, he doesn’t hate them but he doesn’t love them either. a more recent new ally of his comes in the form of magneto-- even though he’s unaware of their familial ties. the world is his main foe: tommy will not hesitate to go after anyone who hurts those he cares about.

tommy stays out of politics. my guy is an ex-felon, he doesn’t even qualify to vote.

what’s their current mental state at? their physical state?

physically, tommy’s never been better. he is at the top of his game when it comes to harnessing his powers... minus his loose grip on his ability to become intangible. mentally, tommy has never been good mentally. what work he had begun to do to fix some of his problems before the blip were immediately flushed down the toilet once he came back, though he has finally crumbled under billy’s nagging and started seeing a therapist again.

for    years    "the    batman"    worked    alone.    it    was    to    preserve    his    identity    and    because    his    initial    intentions    to    become    the    bat    were    rooted    in    his    own    motivations.    it    felt    wrong    to    join    a    team    during    the    early    years    of    his    "career"    but,    when    the    team    around    him    multiplied    it    was    a    great    motivator    for    him    to    become    a    founding    member    of    the    justice    league.    this    could've    never    been    done    without    the    assistance    from    alfred,    the    robins,    and    jim    gordon.    bruce    found    strength    in    numbers    and    solace    in    knowing    his    goal    and    moral    code    (    to    an    extent    )    was    shared    among    his    peers.

 bruce's    childhood    friend,    harvey    dent    will    always    remain    his    true    best    friend.    the    guilt    bruce    carries    from    harvey's    transformation    into    two-face    plagues    him.    he    doesn't    have    many    friends    because    of    it.    he    considers    clark    kent    to    be    a    friend,    by    proxy.    everyone    else    around    him    are    probably    crisis    actors.    this    man    does    not    get    around    much.

 his    curiosity    for    shield,    sword,    the    avengers,    etc    clutter    his    conscious.    without    knowing    much    about    them    or    this    world,    it's    difficult    for    him    to    pinpoint    an    answer.    but    let's    be    fair,    his    response    wouldn't    be    black    or    white    anyways.

 this    man    is    pure    muscle.    with    a    large    frame    his    stature    is    intimidating.    he's    handsome,    in    the    gregory    peck    kind    of    way.    there's    a    sadness    to    him    that    the    expensive    suits    can't    conceal.    bruce's    physicality    is    a    conundrum.    sure,    he's    pure    muscle.    but    his    body    is    destroyed.    he    has    sustained    multiple    injuries    throughout    his    career    as    batman,    including    but    limited    to:    being    thrown    off    a    fucking    building    and    slamming    head    first    onto    the    concrete.    he's    developed    scoliosis,    arthritis,        spondylosis    (    from    bane    nearly    snapping    his    neck    ).    his    back    is    in    horrible    condition    and    is    the    main    factor    that    prevents    him    from    being    batman    full-time.    he    keeps    his    shape    by    eating    healthy,    exercise,    and    physical    therapy.

Ororo was not blipped and remained with the X-Men during the five years that passed over. She was deeply heartbroken by the loss to the whole world, but also of many of her dearest friends among the X-Men. She concentrated on helping the mutants that remained behind and teaching the younger generation that was left, wanting to keep what they could of their community alive. Now that everyone is back, Ororo is relieved beyond words, but worried. Such catastrophic events cannot be easily recovered from. 

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

Ororo is living at the school, where she still teaches classes when she is able. Now that the rest of the X-Men have returned, she feels comfortable taking some time off from teaching to go back to actively serving on a team, in this case, for SWORD. 

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

Ororo would rather work with the X-Men, but she believes it is her duty to help rebuild the world and for that reason is aligned with SWORD for now. During the five years everyone was gone she mostly retired from active hero work to focus on teaching, which was difficult for her in some ways, missing actively fighting.

who are their major friends, allies, and foes?

Her major friends are the X-Men, particularly her dearest friend Jean Grey, who Ororo has been close to since her early days with the team. Ro is also close to Logan, Kurt and Scott, but considers all the X-Men to be her family, particularly given she lost her own parents when she was young. She does not easily trust outside of the X-Men, but is willing to work with anyone, provided they understand she will be watching them. 

whose hands do they believe the country should be in?

Ororo wants to ensure there is a mutant presence among the powers gathering at SWORD and SHIELD. She would prefer they get a say on how their affairs are handled for once, and will do whatever it takes to make sure they are protected.

She’s carrying a great deal of responsibility and attempting to support the recovery all those of the X-Men who returned after the five years. As one of the leaders of the X-Men, she feels she must look after the others, as she’s been trying to do ever since the blip, rather than put her own needs first.

     anna marie was not blipped. and after years of trying to adapt to the new ways of life had her wishing, at some moments, that she had just been blipped. regardless, rogue did their best to adapt and be of use during these years.

     they currently live at the x-mansion, it feels the most like home to her.

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

     the blip is actually the reason she joined s.w.o.r.d. they wanted to tangibly be able to assist in whatever organized capacity and s.w.o.r.d. sort of fell in her lap & she joined. she wanted to help fix whatever had taken place. her loyalties truthfully lie with the x-men ultimately, though they attempt to facilitate any connection with either group.

     friends & allies would have to be both x-men and avengers alike. special shoutouts to raven and kurt, she definitely feels an affinity to them. foes would be red skull, pandemic, vargas & shadow king

     mentally they are pretty strong, though having lived through the blip did do a bit of damage to her as it had everyone. even greater fears of abandonment having been created.

Alas, not even the tyrant of Death Herself could kill Wade Wilson- the blip missed him, despite everything. And wasn’t that just a kick in the teeth. That isn’t to say it didn’t hit him hard- the awareness of so many dead, and yet not him, again. He may have been just a bit bitter. But when things were returned to normal... he couldn’t help but feeling like he missed out on the chance to kick the regeneration curse. Alas, here he is, still kicking butt, still taking names- and trying to work out just what it means to be the undying Deadpool when half the world came back from the dead.

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

Wade lives alone in a little apartment in New York- though he does take jobs elsewhere- the teleportation belt is handy in that regard. And if he’s gonna be taking down bad guys, might as well go where the baddest hang out.

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

Deadpool is a hero for hire- you have the funds, he’ll do the work. He’s not exactly Captain fucking America, but he can get things done- and while he has his rules, he’s done some shady things before, and will probably do some again. But the Merc with a Mouth has a reputation- and it’s not like it’s not well known.

who are their major friends, allies, and foes?

Unfortunately, Wade is a pain in the ass. He has few allies and fewer friends. X-Force is the tie he has closest to- and then, in no particular order, the extended X-Men, the Avengers (though he has a kind of soft spot for Clint), and then, of course, Spider-Man, who he considers the people’s hero. Other than that, there’s passing alliances when it suits those involved.

As for enemies... doesn’t every hero have a handful of those?

what were they doing when they passed through the portal? fighting, as was her usual state of being. cassandra had been on their way to meet up with stephanie brown for their regular patrols when they’d caught up to a group of gang members beating on a civilian. not one to walk past someone in need, especially not when their life could be in danger, cass stepped in to protect them. just after the fight, just as they turned to check on the civilian, a portal opened up and deposited them in the middle of new york city. it didn't take them long to realize this wasn't the same nyc as on their earth.

where are they living? are they living with anyone? cassandra found a place to call their temporary home, more or less. they hardly spend time there, but it's usable as somewhere to get some sleep and practice their skills. as long as it has a roof it can be a house, right? home to them is more about the company they keep, anyway.

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with? cassandra was adopted by bruce wayne to become the new batgirl, joining the batman family as bruce was impressed by their skills. they continued working with batman and his affiliates. otherwise, cassandra has not worked long term with any other team. they don’t vibe with shield’s mission, and would prefer to work on their own.

who are their major friends, allies, and foes? cassandra is allied with the batman family. bruce wayne is their adopted father, and they look up to him as their role model. stephanie brown is their closest and best friend. they’re close with barbara gordon, to the degree that they consider them an older sister figure. they maintains (relatively) good friendships with dick grayson and tim drake, though their relationships with jason todd and damian wayne are a bit turbulent. they’re friendly with duke thomas. their parents are her biggest enemies, along with gotham's rogues gallery.

 TW  :  mentions  of  terminal  illness    //    jane  was  unfortunately  blipped  out  .  prior  to  being  blipped  ,  she  developed  and  published  her  revolutionary  theory  on  wormholes  (  aka  the  foster  theory  )  .  they  were  considered  as  a  candidate  for  the  nobel  prize  .  and  on  top  of  that  ,  they  also  started  traveling  the  world  to  give  lectures  .  it  was  during  jane’s  travels  that  she  finds  out  they’d  been  diagnosed  with  cancer  .  she’d  been  undergoing  treatment  for  two  years  before  getting  blipped  and  was  close  to  remission  .

 after  returning  from  the  blip  ,  they  did  end  up  in  the  final  battle  (  **  check  the  notable  changes  section  for  an  explanation  sjsjs  **  )  and  now  they’re  just  trying  to  return  back  to  living  a  normal  life  while  in  remission  .

 at  the  moment  ,  she’s  living  in  an  apartment  on  the  lower  west  side  of  manhattan  with  a  part-time  caretaker  who  checks  up  on  her  twice  a  week  to  make  sure  they’re  okay  .

 while  jane  remains  unaffiliated  for  now  ,  she  was  for  a  time  affiliated  with  shield  and  by  proxy  sword  mostly  because  of  their  research  .  they  were  unwilling  to  let  shield  confiscate  all  their  research  and  well  !  she  ended  up  becoming  affiliated  with  them  for  a  time  .

gonna be honest here... kate was at a bar, hitting on women. just because she’s trying to take slightly better care of herself doesn’t mean she’s succeeding, and sometimes you just need to go out for a night and flirt! she was a few minutes away from another meaningless one night stand when the portal opened up, taking her with it.

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

kate’s got her own loft in the village, because, even in another dimension, she’s gonna live in style (and absolutely no sunlight). it’s just her. she likes the quiet, and trying to live with bruce and the rest of his family would give her a migraine.

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

kate became batwoman before she knew that it ran in the family: a soldier kicked out of west point, training for a war she could never fight, never able to get revenge for her mother and sister, she needed to do something. she needed a mission. she needed a purpose, she saw the first traces of it in batman, and she found it in herself as batwoman. beyond the moral alignment, well. batman’s her first cousin. so. she’s kind of roped into this all now.

who are their major friends, allies, and foes?

major friends & allies: she’s not big into friends, per se. arguably: bruce wayne & co. (the whole messy gaggle of that family, with a particular affinity for the angry little queer ones <3) ; bette kane ; maybe, if pressed, selina kyle

foes: she has a very complicated relationship with her father. i don’t know which category it fits in, just that it’s big, and we don’t know how we feel about jacob kane. same goes with beth, her twin sister, who reappeared from the dead as a supervillain! kate thinks she’s dealt with for now, but... who’s to say! otherwise, just the rogues generally?

whose hands do they believe the country should be in?

just, good, fair people. honestly, this isn’t her biggest concern anymore. kate’s from a military family, but after being discharged months shy of her west point graduation just for being gay, she’s become more disillusioned. it’s more of a vigilante justice kind of world these days; she just hopes it ends up in the hands of people who will do right by the rest of them.

she’s... hanging in there? kate carries a lot of trauma with her (as is the kane-wayne family way!) that she’s never been able to kick, but having a purpose in batwoman helps. she can channel her worst into doing something important; punching criminals in the face helps her feel something. she has a history of self-medicating with alcohol and sex, trying to either feel less numb or numb the worst of it. right now, she believes her sister’s dead for good, and it’s her fault. she’s failed to save her family twice now, which isn’t great! this time, though, she has batwoman. it’s all she’s got, and she’s putting her everything into it. physically, she’s in great shape. she’s all muscle and spite!

jean did not blip out, however a lot of people that she held close to her heart were blipped and vanished many right in front of her eyes. this took a big toll on jean, and through the five years she had been trying to help the people around her that were still there while at the same time trying to deal with the survivors guilt that she felt about this whole thing. as people began to reappear she was extremally grateful, and so happy to feel them once again, not only from the blip but coming back from the dead.

where are they living? are they living with anyone?

jean spends her time between the mansion whenever she is needed or feel like she needs to be there, which grew more and more since the blip, and an apartment in the city for the convenience of her other work.

x-men is her family and she will always be affiliated with them. while sword she joined in hopes of a better communication between them and mutants as well to have a place in there. she still doesn’t fully trust them or shield.

major friends are the x-men. allies are anyone that align with the x-men and right now sword. and foes are anyone against the ones before (keeping short and sweet)

carol did not blip, but was overwhelmed with sadness when half of planet earth’s life disappeared. this not only had grave consequences for earth, but for the rest of the galaxy as well. she continued to do her sworn duties to protect the galaxy during the time, and shuffled through a billion ways that she could try and undo it all. 

carol spends the majority of time in her spaceship, but she does have an apartment in new york. she lives alone, unless you count her cat, chewie (who is a flerken)!

after regretfully deciding to temporarily not return to california while seeking out her besties, she took on a pretty ritzy penthouse when not just sleeping in her hell dimension ! that’s what happens when you kill men to live, then just brainwash other men into letting you stay <3 or eat them... carnivore animal, she’s kind of a cannibal, she eats boy’s souls up, they better run <3 jennifer check tease.
